RH 6 - Conditional areas

Hello,
I'm trying to use the new feature of conditional build tags :
the hide/show conditional areas system.
It works perfectly when I want to hide the conditional areas
in TOC, Project and Index tabs. I just have to select the tab and
use the View menu / Show / Conditional areas.
However, it doesn't work in the WYSIWYG when I want to hide
the conditional areas in a topic content.
Do you have any solution ?

Hi, Tawni. Yes this was fixed. In RoboHelp v7 you can now
show or hide the color shading of conditional elements (at the
content or topic level) and in fact choose to see it (or not) in
the Project Manager and/or in the Design (WYSIWYG) editor (or the
TOC editor for that matter). The robust customization comes with a
bit of a jolt however.
For example, I could elect to see the shading on a topic in
the Project Manager and yet not see conditional content shading
inside the Design editor view itself. What is affected by the View
> Show command is determined by what pod has the focus at the
time. This offers many combinations of views.
When I first used it, I had the expectation that using the
show/hide command would affect all conditional shading globally. It
does not. So you must pay attention to what pod (Project Manager,
TOC, etc) has the focus when you use the command.
To me, the increased flexibility still has some rough edges.
I would still like to see a "global" show on/off switch and will
put this in as a request.

I have created a PO w.r.t a PR which has only one line item.
Now, I add another line item to this existing PO, i get an error message that the Price and Pricing conditions are not copied.
How do i rectify this error !!
Where might be the link for this Price and Pricing conditions to get copied in to this PO ??

Dear Friends,
Could you tell the reason - Conditions are neither editable nor you can insert a conditin in sales order line item as the insert icon is inactive.

2. Check if the item is rejected or - not rejected
3. Check if invoice is created - invoice not created, this is the time if i am going to create/change the sales order

The speed may have been ok at that time and is too inconsistent/too slow overall. interference may have proven to be more of an issue since as well. If using public DNS that will provide Intermittant results
I'm sure using a hotspot would be fine but it depends on your viewing habits. An HD movie is around 4-5GB. It would also be subject to speed. requirements so best to test to see how it compares.
You would have to check with your Carrier if hotspot it's enabled then just to into your settings and toggle it ON

Keep focus in a control until certain conditions are met?

Hello,
Is there a way to keep focus at a control until certain conditions are met?
For example, if I might want to keep the focus set to a text field inside a tab unless the text field contains something valid.
If user tries to switch to different tab without having valid text inside the text field, I would like to pop up a stage/dialog and abort the tab switching.

1. Do the texts need to be mapped in the node that you hjave mentioned. Sould not the SRM texts be mapped to ECC textx by default . After all , it shoud be standard predelivered feature . I have not done any mapping but still the SRM supplier text in shopping cart line item , flows into ECC Material Text in ECC PO line item.
i.e by default SRM supplier text in shopping cart line item = ECC Material Text in ECC PO line item.
No other text from SRM SC or PO ir flowing into ECC PO

When we create a contract using ME31K & matains conditions in which table conditions are updated.
Please guide in which table i'll find all prices.
In EKKO also no document condition is generated.

It sounds as if you only had one line with an upgrade available. So you can only upgrade one line. For you to upgrade as well, you will have to wait until your upgrade is available. You can check that at MyVerizon. That's just how it works. All carriers and phone brands are the same. I have to wait until February to upgrade. The only thing you can do to get the new iPhone, is add a new line. But then you're paying for a line you don't need.

Starting conditions are invalid. Number of WF started: 0

I noticed very strange situation in case of SC autoapproval WF (SRM 5.0 Extended Classic). When I activate standard WF indicating my starting conditions everything is OK. But when I made a copy of that standard WF SC autoapproval and indicated the same starting condition I can shop because system gives an error that no WF found for SC. In application monitor there is an error Starting conditions are invalid. Number of WF started: 0. How this is possible? The starting conditions are the same, WF are also the same - one of them is only a copy of another....
Please give me some advise if you have any ideas...

Hi,
please check if the starting conditions of the original Workflow are still active. In SRM, the starting conditions must not overlap, so take care that the system found exactly one workflow. Easiest way to check this is by de-activating the original starting conditions.

Hold indicator state if conditions are met for review at end of test

I am looking to have an indicator stay true if conditions are met. I can get it to go on just not stay on. Example: if 5>0 and 10>0 then true (and stay true until reset. It is probably something really easy and I am just missing it but I am not sure what labview combination of items to make the value stay until reset.

I thank you for your posts....I think I have the solution but not sure why it does not work in my application. Attached is Paul's version modified to look like my version but they do not act the same.....My VI was created in 6 and migrated to 7.1 with the upgrades. This is the only thing that I can think of. Does this mean I have to redo my VI in the new version to fix this issue or am I just missing something.

Restarting the executable until all conditions are true

I wonder if I could be very clever and find the way out of my problem here.
I am communicating with a device over UDP and for some reason, the device doesn't often establish communication with my Labview Executable on the first attempt.
I run it, it fails, I then use CTRL+ALT+Delete to shut it down. I donubleclick the executable ICON on the desktop again and I sometimes do it five or six times then finally the communication is established and it all works.
I wonder if I could add some code in the application to automate this process. One of the way I could now think to do is by creating another vi and call my current vi dynamically and add all those conditions into cluster, call this cluster (by wiring to the output terminal of the current main vi into new main vi) and monitor my cluster in the new main vi to see if the conditions are true if so continue or reload the current vi until those conditions are met? Is it the right way to do this? Or can I make my life easier and applcation more stable by doing something different?

Can you post your current code and show us the part that is communicating via UDP. I think the way to go is deffinately make your current code stable rather than an automation of failing code.
Also what is the device you are trying to communicate with. Does this have a set protocol that you need to follow or is it one you are trying to figure out.

All conditions are Inactive

Dear all,
In billing document all the condition are inactive the reason the system is displaying is "W" The document item is statistical.
There is only one line item in billing.
The billing is made with reference to order.
In order all the condition are active.
The pricing condition is entered manually since no condition records are maintained and it is marked as manual in pricing procedure as wel as at condition level.
In billing all the conditions are unique i.e no condition is inserted twice.

In my database, I have 2 names. for a
given lname in the output, it is associated
with 2 rnames.One rname is associated with
keyword 123 and the other rname is associated
with item 456. Something like this:
lname sname rname
jakal jkl r123 --> associated with keyword 123
jakal jkl r456 --> associated with item 456
So when I run without condition1 and condition2 above is what I get.
That is jakal is associated with both r123 and r456.
However in my first query, I am trying to get the lnames and snames that are associated with keyword 123 but are not associated with item 456.
I want both conditions true to be displayed.
However when I write the query as mentioned initially, I get the row back.

Not sure if I understand the problem correctly.
But simplistically boolean algebra says that if you want a result only if both conditions are true, use AND.
E.g.
select * from table where <condition1> and <condition2>
Now if this does not work, it means that the conditions do not do what you think these should be doing.

Tax Conditions are flowing in PO irrespective of any tax code

HI Experts,
                I have maintained the condition Records for the Plant/vendor/Material combination for the Tax Code V1.
               But , Even If i enter the Tax code V2 in PO by mistake , All the condition records are flowing to PO.
               How can it be controlled ? or Do we need to take Tax code as a access field?.

SAP always gives priority to the detail level, during document creation it even if you are putting tax code if material/ plant/ vendor level condition exists, it will copy the material /plant/ vendor level conditions from condition records. This is standard functionality.
The condition records are created with key combination which in your case is material/ plant/ vendor, even if you are putting tax code inside the records with the above combination.
If you wnat to keep it at tax code level then select the key combination as taxcode/ country or tax classification.
