RH7 html Files Stored... Where?

Does anyone know where RH& stores the html files that it
creates based on an FM8 import? I have looked in the project
folder(s) and find them nowhere.

For a project linked to an FM book:
projectName/bookName/chapterName/topicName.htm
And by default, RoboHelp puts the project in My Documents/My
RoboHelp Projects

  • Need help displaying HTML files stored in content repository

I have a very simple HTML file stored in a binary attribute (so the file could
be uploaded through the Admin Portal) named "html" in the BEA Repository (8.1sp2)
and would like to display it in a JSP. Here's a snippet from that JSP:
    <cm:getNode path="<%=myNodePath%>" id="myNode"/>
    <cm:getProperty node="<%=myNode%>" name="html" conversionType="html"/>
I expected the getProperty tag to fetch the HTML file and render it inline, but
I guess that's wishful thinking. Am I missing something?
    Thanks for any help!

I added transactionTimeout="30" to the tag shown below. That did the trick, as
long as I avoided certain combinations of tag attributes. Guess this one's a little
    moody.
    Thanks, Greg.

  • Opening an HTML file stored locally

    Hello fellows,
Is it possible to open a locally stored HTML file using  Acro javascript?
If, yes, how to make Acrobat/Reader open the HTML file only once, when the rights-enabled PDF is opened for the 1st time?
Thank you for your responses in advance!

Reader cannot open HTML files even manually. You can use JavaScript in Acrobat to convert an HTML file to PDF, but only from a privileged context: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/11/Acrobat11_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.89.164.html

  • Possible to access an .html file stored on media card?

I have downloaded web pages I built from my computer to the media card in my Blackberry 8310. After opening MEDIA on the home screen, I can click the menu > explore > navigate to the .html file and it will display.  Javascript does not function, however, even if it is turned on and is functional with web sites through my browser.  I presume I am having this problem because I am not viewing the file using a browser with this method.  This lead me to the thought of accessing the file through my browser.  When I start my browser then use the menu key > Go to, I cannot find the proper format command to access a file on the media card.  I am attempting a similar request as using a browser on a puter then typing c:\directory\file.  I have used the file//C:\ format along with other formats to no avail.  I am not sure if the device has a name.  I have tried Device:\ but that doesn't work.  I tried \Media Card and that doesn't work either.  I moved the files into devce memory hoping I could access it.  I would appreciate any help with either method I have tried.  Thanks, Ted

I doubt it is possible. Pages is fairly limited when it comes to html.
I would try finding another application or send the files as pdf. PDF may not be a good idea in marketing material, as the receiver may not even open the file, but if you present it in a nice way, it may work.

  • How to link an  APEX button to a HTML file stored on the app server ??

Hopefully this will be simple for someone
We have some very technical word documents that I really didn't want to replicate in oracle reports
So i have saved them as html docs , and when i open then in IE they look fine
I have placed them in the folder where our reports are stored , but I cannot figure out how to create the URL to place behind a button in APEX ??
Obviously the oracle reports url won't work as the uses pdf's and the servlet
    Thanks in advance
    Chris

    Assuming you are using Apache?
You could place your Word docs in the same folder as your current Apex images directory (or a sub-directory off it) then reference them with a URL of the form http://yourserver/i/sample_word_file.doc. Alternatively you could add a new Alias entry to your dads.conf file (found in your Apache/modplsql/conf directory) to expose the folder on your webserver that contains your Word files via a URL such as http://yourserver/word_docs/
    E.g.
    Alias /word_docs/ "c:\my_docs\technical_word_docs/"

  • Imported files stored where?

After twenty years of using PCs I got this great iMac but can't quite figure it all out yet. I imported all my photos from my PC over my home network and I want to make sure that the files themselves are here on the Mac. But I have been unable to find them.
I have over 1500 photos in iPhoto but when I look on the HD under Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals I see a list of years from 1991 through 2006 (with some years missing). These must be the albums that I created. But I think not, because when I click on a year, I see the directory structure that I have in my PC. Even combining all the photos listed under Original and Modified, there are less than 100.... so where are the other 1400 photos stored on the Mac?
I'm lost.. and want to make sure that the photos are here on the Mac and not simply pointing to the PC on the network... and where are they so I can do a sensible backup?
    Thanks

Try a test from inside iPhoto. Select several "suspect" photos. Do a File > Export with original format and full-sized images. Export to the desktop. Then exit iPhoto and examine the exported images to your heart's content. Confirm that there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. When finished, you can safely trash these exported files.
IF you have confirmed the export, convince yourself to do everything from inside iPhoto and stop worrying about the library. On the other hand, if there's something wrong about the exported photos, post back and we'll go from there. The following is a copy & paste from iPhoto's "Help" screens:
IMPORTANT: If you move, delete, rename, or otherwise touch files or folders within this folder, you may be unable to see your pictures in the iPhoto application. The files within this folder should only be manipulated by a customer care representative. It is a good idea, however, to routinely back up this entire folder to a CD or external hard disk so you have a copy in case your photos become lost or corrupted for any reason.

  • WD_TRACE_TOOL zip file stored where?

    Dear experts,
Can anybody tell me where the zip-file of wd_trace_tool are stored.?
    Thanks in advance
    Robin

    Hello Robin,
you should also be able to download the trace in the transaction WD_TRACE_TOOL (there is a button to download it)
Within this transaction, you also activate and deactive the trace... and see all your traces.
Edit: btw, I have similar problems downloading the traces within the IE... but I'm not sure, if all is configured correct in this system.

  • Would you put XML and HTML files stored in the database as files?

    Hi,
Basically that is my question. My criteria is that I will be given some XML files, I need to save the XML file somewhere for future reference. However I also have to store when it was registered and so on.
Would you install this in the database? Or you would just store the path where it is deployed?

A file modification time could give you the same effect.
Would you install this in the database? Or you would
just store the path where it is deployed?I'd favor the latter for the sake of an argument.
If you put it in the database, you wouldn't be able to query for the XML except by ID or registration date. Not much point in having it there.

  • Url to html file stored in files.online fails

I have a page that has a region of type URL with region source set to http://files.oraclecorp.com/content/AllPublic/SharedFolders/ST_Project_V3_Help-Public/V3_Focus_Area_Create_Short_Help.html
When we run this page we get error message HTTP 404 - File not found
I just copied the files.online location into the region source to make sure it is correct. Still fails. This used to work, but it stopped working on existing pages.

    Neal,
I get an entirely different message:  Not Found
      The requested URL  /app/HomePage$fwdurl=http:$|$|files.oraclecorp.com$|content$|AllPublic$|
SharedFolders$|ST_Project_V3_Help-Public$|V3_Focus_Area_Create_Short_Help.html was not found on this server.Assuming that you transcribed the message incorrectly, my hunch is that the page is no longer publicly accessible (I think there was an announcement about that last week.). Pages that depend on cookies or that redirect won't work in URL regions.
    As a general technique, you can run this in SQL*Plus to see what your URL region will see: select utl_http.request('<url>',[proxy]) from dual;

  • Where to put simple html-file in WebLogic directory structure?

After installing JDeveloper 11g and WebLogic 10.3 which came in the same exe-file (jdevstudio11110install.exe), I want to try WebLogic as a ordinary web server for a simple html-file. Where should the file be placed in WebLogics directory structure, and are there any settings that need to be done to get this to work?

    Thank you, Maxence -
I made it work this way:
    - Entered the following in weblogic.xml for a simple dummy-servlet...
    (WebLogicServletTest-ProjectWebLogicServletTest-context-root)
... deployed to the WebLogic server:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252'?>
    <weblogic-web-app>
    <virtual-directory-mapping>
    <local-path>C:\WorkScratch\</local-path>
    <url-pattern>*.html</url-pattern>
    </virtual-directory-mapping>
    </weblogic-web-app>
WebLogic served up the hoppla.html-file in the C:\WorkScratch directory with the following browser URL:
    http://192.168.15.108:8900/WebLogicServletTest-ProjectWebLogicServletTest-context-root/hoppla.html

  • Opening HTML files

    Hi there,
I'd love someone giving me a bit of help about this...
AFAIK, Nokia S40 phones can't open an html file stored locally (in the phone's memory or memory card), although they can if that file is accessed through an internet connection.
So... is there a method or piece of software that I could use to open HTML files stored locally? (I've tried some Java browsers, including Opera Mini, but they all seem only fit for online browsing).
    Thanks a lot,
    Marcos

ok so i just realized that it doesn't make sense for a program outside the jar, like IE or Firefox, to be able to access and open a file inside of the jar. I am now looking for suggestions on how to work around this problem for my program to be able to have a simple help system located inside the jar that can be loaded during runtime.
    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Modifying the HTML files for a service

    Hi All:
We are in SAP R/3 4.6c and EP 6.0.  We will be using the standalone ITS for our ESS Services.
We would like to modify the standard delivered service for edit skills - PZ31_EWT.
What is the procedure for modifying the HTML files.  Where can we see the HTML files associated with a service ?
Is it on the ITS side or via SE80?
    Thanks
    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,
You've just about reached the limits of what I know about changing ESS ITS services I'm afraid.
I didn't see PZ31_EWT listed under Internet services either so Im guessing the ITS service PZ31 name remains unchanged. If you double click on the top level folder in the tree, called PZ31, the details of the ITS service are displayed. Its not obvious that you can do this as it just looks like a folder, but if you do and select the Parameters tab you can see if lists TRANSACTION=pz31 and WEBTRANSACTIONTYPE =EWT which sounds suspiciously similar to what you were expecting.
You could test this by putting some text in the PZ31 HTML template, publishing, and checking it is displayed.
You can (copy and) modify the templates with straight HTML and the Business HTML macro language, which is a bit of a black art but you can access the help via the 'Business HTML overview' button on the toolbar.
I found a sentence in my handover notes from an ESS guru that reads 'Customization to ESS page layout are not easily done. You need to copy and modify the ITS service and edit the business HTML templates'.
The only other way I know to modify ESS is through the SPRO transaction.
Thats about all I can tell you about ESS Im afraid!
    Cheers,
    Steve

    Where is the bookmarks stored?
I Install the Firefox once again since I upgrade my computer.
And I try to move the bookmarks from the old computer to the new one.
But I can't find anyone of them.
Is there any folder just like "favourite" to store the html file?
I really want to find out the bookmarks because actually i can't remember all the website that are important to me~ URGENT!!!~THANKS~

You can move file named places.sqlite from your old profile to the new one. It contains bookmarks and browsing history.
Here's a knowledge base article about it: [[Recovering important data from an old profile]]
If you don't care about saving your current bookmarks, you can skip creating new profile (Firefox does it by itself at first run anyway).
I'd might suggest you to install addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410/|Xmarks Bookmark and Password Sync]. It is a free web service which synchronizes bookmarks and (optionally) passwords with central server, and then to other computers, if you installed it on more. You may treat is as a backup too.

  • I want to display a HTML file that is stored locally on my machine.

    Hello,
I am having a problem with my paths (I believe). I have created a JEditorPane that reads in a HTLM page. If the page is form the web it works fine:
page_jep.setPage("http://www.google.com");However I want to display a HTML file that is stored locally on my machine.
I have tried the following but cant get it to find the stored page:
    page_jep.setPage("file:///index.htm");
java.io.FileNotFoundException: \index.htm (The system cannot find the file specified)I have tried putting the index file in both the root directory ( C ) and also the same place as where the class files are.
Any help will be gratefully received,

    Nope, I have tried it:
    page_jep.setPage("file://c:\\index.htm");Gives me:
    java.net.UnknownHostException: c
