RH7 increases TOC font size for Mac browsers

I'm using RoboHelp 7.
I'm running into several bugs with my generated help. It
seems whutils.js (found in the !SSL! folder), adds 4 pts to the
font displayed on a Macintosh. My lovely 10 pt TOC displays
accurately on my PC using Firefox and IE. But on a Mac, I get a 14
pt font.
Rather than delete the javascript every time I regenerate the
help set, is there a place in the application to specify that fonts
be treated equally across platforms and browsers. I can't for the
life of me find it.
I've attached the javascript found in whutils.js. It's pretty
hard to believe it's there.
Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen this too but don't have any Mac users (except
myself, at home).
You should report this to Adobe as a "bug." Much has changed
for all the Mac versions of browsers since this code was written.
All output code needs to be reviewed before the next RH release.
Meanwhile, if you come up with a safe way to fix this, you
could save and keep a modified version of whutils.js to substitute
after generating any WebHelp. If we're lucky, we might find that
the source file in the RH application folder is identical to the
output version, so you could nip this problem in the bud.

Your iPod touch running OS 4.2 has a ZOOM feature which will enable you to see the screen more clearly.
To turn Zoom on or off got to:

_Large Text_:
Large Text lets you make the text larger in alerts, and in Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes. You can choose 20-point, 24-point, 32-point, 40-point, 48-point, or 56-point text.
Set the text size: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility, tap Large Text, then tap the text size you want.
I hope this has helped a little - other than this option I think it pretty much is what it is.

How do I increase system font size (for menus, etc.)?

I wear contacts, but still don't have perfect vision, and working on my mac all day as a researcher means that my eyes can get tired- especially since I work on double screens- my macbook air + a widescreen display on my desk. There are a lot of accessibility options in Yosemite, but I cannot see an option to simply increase the menu/system font size. It seems ridiculous that one can easily increase fonts in safari or other programs with a pinch-out motion, but there are NO possibilities for making menus and system text--which users have to decipher across their day and tasks--more legible. (I could never find this option in Mavericks either, but am surprised not to see it added in Yosemite, with all the smart, beautiful aesthetic changes).
So, how can I increase menu font size?

Increasing the font size for printing in FB03

Hi All,
I am trying to print a FI document from FB03.
But, i am getting print only 1/4th of the A4 size paper.(i mean only 25% of the page is covered and remaining 75% is blank) Now, I need to increase the font size so that it covers more portion of A4 size paper.
I tried to change "Format settings" in Print settings but in vain.
Please advise

Please make sure that the format settings that you have changed has taken effect.
X_65_200 is suitable and it gives the print with 90% of the page.
When you change the format settings it will change the font size according to properties.

How can I increase the font size for safari?

Does anyone know how I can increase the overall font size when in Safari? I recently purchased a 21.5" iMac and while the screen is brilliant, the font size is very small when I'm using Safari. Also, the web page is about a 1/3rd of the size of the screen. Would anyone know how to make it such that a web page is across the full screen? Otherwise, what's the point of such a big screen?

To get full screen view, look down at right hand corner of page.
You will see hash marks at a 45 degree angle in the corner.
Set pointer on it, and grab out to full edge of screen.
This works for all Apps including images.
I do this as default, being I sit about 5-6 feet from the screen.
Then use Pinch- Out to expand the page within the Browser.
Pinch-Out works for all Images loaded on the screen as well.
*You may know this already, grab browser window at the top edge,
and move it near the left edge of screen first.
I'll throw in a handy viewing tip of items saved on the desk top,
or within the Finder so that you don't actually have to launch the item.
Simply highlite it, then hit Space Bar.
This is part of Quick View,,, The Eye Ball Icon in header of viewing Finder does the same thing.
This works for all video files as well for a Quick View, w/o running huge ram loads.
Hit Space again to turn it off , Quick View.
You can leave it on if browsing stack of files, then arrow down or up for those views.

How do I increase the font size for safari and apps

The new iPhone 5 has a larger screen. However, everything seems smaller. The font in most apps can hardly be read. How do I increase the default font for everything except messaging. I increased the font in the settings, which works for messaging, but that doesn't work for anything else.

Unfortunately Dark Menu Bar hides some of my App's dock icons, so can't use it.
I used instead:
System Preferences > General> Appearance
- Select Graphite for Buttons, Menus etc
- Select Graphite as Highlight color
- Turn off "Use LCD font smoothing" > the last item at the bottom of General
The Increase Contrast Button worked best for me, it draws a box around most buttons and seems to make them darker.
System Preferences > Accessibility:
- Turn on "Increase Contrast" which not only turn on Reduce Transparency but adds a few other things to help improve definition between lines / fonts.

How to increase the font size for text in the ibooks' dictionary

In iBooks for iOS 7, I know how to resize the text of my ebooks.
But how can I resize the font of the in-built dictionary?
Can anybody help me?

The dictionary display appears to be using Dynamic Type, so you can increase its size via the Larger Type function. However, this will also increase type size in a number of other application as well (Messages, Mail, etc.).
Settings app > General > Accessibility > Larger Type (turn ON, the use the slider to set the type size)

Increase Menu Font sizes for Premier CC 2014 with 4K Monitor

I have just purchased an 4K monitor, but the menu fonts are to small to read. In Illustrator CC 2014, there is an option to increase them by 200%, which is perfect, but Premier doesn't seem to offer that. Is there a solution?

In Microsoft Office for Mac WORD I can make text appear larger on the monitor screen without increasing the font size for printing purposes. I have not been able to figure out if/how this can be done in TextEdit. In TextEdit, if I set the font size to between 10 and 12, the text appears very small on the screen. Actually after I posted my question, I saw link to Text Edit viewable font, which pointed out the small up and down arrows in the lower right corner of the Text Edit screen.

How to change font size for certain domains in Safari

I want to increase the font size for a few websites that have font's sizes I can't read. I already use a CSS file that changes my link colors so I can modify that files if that helps.
Here's a website I need to change http://www.boxofficeguru.com/weekend.htm. Whenever I go to this page I have to increase the font size and when I go to a different site I have to make the font size smaller. Any ideas?

If there are really only a few sites that you have problems with, just go to the site, and click the Command key along with the plus key. This will temporarily increase the size of the type.
Command and the minus(-) key makes type smaller. These commands will work on a per site basis.

How to increase the font size inside Mail.app

Mail essentially has two panels:
- a left panel showing the header and first couple of lines of incoming emails;
- a right panel showing the contents of an email that has been selected in the left panel.
Using Mail's preferences, I was able to increase the font size of the header information of emails in the right panel.
However, I was unable to find a way to increase the font size for messages in the left panel or for the contents of an email in the right panel.
Is this possible? If so, how can this be done?

You can't for incoming emails. When viewing an email the ⌘+ key combination will increase the font in the viewed email incrementally.
