RHEL5.6 secondary for SLES10 primary

Hello.
I'm experimenting with installing a secondary ZLM 7.3 server on an RHEL 5.6 box, where the primary server is installed on SLES 10.3.
This is not going very well.
When the zlm-config gets to the point of replicating the NDS info on the secondary server, using the command:

At which point the zlm-config itself says

The process hangs at this point until I cancel it.
ndstrace -l output says things like:

I have tried the same with another SLES 10.3, and I can set it up as a secondary without any issues.
I've been fighting with this for a while, and searching has proved fruitless. Perhaps you can help me?

Shortcut for adding Primary / Secondary layer?

Hi,
I wonder, if there a shortcut for adding Primary or Secondary layer in layers stack? Can't believe one would need to click the tiny +P or +S buttons all the time.
I read shortcuts PDF, but found nothing.

I'm afraid there isn't any shortcut to create any layer. It's possible with a color grading panel though.

Try going to Settings>Notifications>Mail, tap your primary account, then tap New Mail Sound and set as desired.

UCCE 7.5 Silent Monitoring for only primary supervisor

Hi all,
We currently activate Silent Monitoring for our UCCE platform 7.5 using BIB and CCM based deployment.
I'd like to enable the feature for only the team primary supervisor. Meaning the same supervisor, if configured as secondary for a different team, can not monitor calls of members from that team.
Can someone please give me a hint?

If it was CTIOS you could remove the button, recompile and deploy that Supervisor Desktop. But I guess you have CAD.
If it was the Cisco Agent Desktop you could create a workflow, remove a button (make it invisible), and assign this workflow to agents who did not require the function.
Not sure about CSD. I know you can remove buttons for everyone (we removed the one for Dynamic Reskilling) but I can't recall if you get the ability to do more.

I am trying to make one of my secondary emails my primary and remove my current primary as I am going to be closing my current primary soon to tidy up all email correspondence. The system seems to remember my secondary after I delete it and try to assign it as the primary.

If you don't have access to your rescue email account (you won't be able to change it until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Replication from secondary site to primary site

When we want to replicate from secondary site to primary site then we can't use database replication. Why?

Not sure what you mean... The replication between primary sites and secondary sites is using both database replication and file replication. See for more information:

I am changing my email address soon, I need to delete it and switch one of my secondary emails to primary. How can I do that?

HI, I don't understand - Seemingly I can't have an any type of PRIMARY Apple ID that has an apple ext. Instead I have to use a work email or even worse a google, android, MS email for my primary address to work - What is the point in directing customers to competitors? I already tried Apple direct but I didn't seem to get a conclusive answer to my question.
Also why can't you password protect the email app on the ipad or iphone? Its really frustrating that my email is availble for anyone to see once the screen password is bypassed. And yet my laptop (which I only use ironically) continually asks for my password once I have closed down.

You cannot delete an Apple ID, you can only choose not to use it. Also, your @me.com address is associated with this ID and cannot be moved to another ID or be used to create a new ID.
All you could do is create a new ID using a different email address with your name in it. If you do you will have an associated @icloud.com email address.

How do I obtain the next number for a Primary Key using an ADF View Object?

I have two separate View Objects (A & B) for the same Entity Object. View Object A does a SELECT on all of the fields in the table. This View Object is where I execute my adds and updates. View Object B is only used to retrieve the next number for the primary key. This is done so that when I add a row to the database, I always get the max number of the primary key and add one to it. I accomplished this by setting the SQL mode to Expert and using the SQL: "SELECT MAX(NBR) AS MAX_NUMBER FROM TABLE_1". This may be overkill having a seperate View Object for this, but so far this is the only way I have found to obtain the next number. However, I have discovered that this way does not always work.
The problem I'm running into is when I try to add multiple records to View Object A without committing the transaction between each add. Because View Object B is disconnected from View Object A, the MAX_NUMBER of View Object B comes back with the same number for each add I do on View Object A. So I know I must retrieve the MAX_NUMBER from View Object A.
I've tried using the following code in my Table1ViewImpl class:

The view object now has what I want, but I have yet to figure a way to extract the MAX_NUMBER out of the View Object. I've also looked into using the method addDynamicAttribute() but I can't figure out any way to set the attribute with the MAX_NUMBER.
I can't be the only one trying to retrieve the next number from a database table using ADF. Can anyone help me with this? FYI - I'm using JDev 10.1.3 EA.

You missing the point.
On a multi-user db knowing the next highest number doesn't guarantee the number will be available when it comes time to commit the record. You can prove this to yourself by opening two instances of your app and do whatever you do to add a new record to your VO. Both will assume the same number, and when you commit an error will be generated
You must use sequences to avoid the possibility of duplicate keys. If you are trying to avoid gaps in your numbering then you need to convince yourself why this is necessary.

As orafad indicated, you'll have to use the USING INDEX clause from the documentation, i.e.

How to change the source type for a primary key on a form?

At the time of creating a form, I had set the source type for the primary key to an existing sequence.
Now I want to change the source to a trigger.

2. Mark one of numeric columns as the primary key - PK_TRANSACTIONS.
3. Go to Physical Models and create new Oracle Database 11g.
4. Go to Physical Models -> Oracle Database 11g -> Tables -> TRANSACTIONS -> Primary Keys -> PK_TRANSACTIONS -> Properties:
a) on General tab set Using Index to BY INDEX NAME
b) on Using Index tab choose a tablespace
c) on Using Index tab set Index Sort to SORTED.
5. Export the schema to DDL script. For the primary key you will get something like this:

The script will fail because SORTED is not allowed here. It should be SORT.
Additionally, the default behaviour for Data Modeler is to set Index Sort to NO but default setting for Oracle database 11g is SORT. Shouldn't Data Modeler use SORT as the default value?

Thanks for reporting this problem. As you say, it should be SORT rather than SORTED. I have logged a bug on this.
I also agree that, for consistency with the database default, it would be better to have SORT as the default in Data Modeler.

MBPR - 1TB SSD - Windows Experience Index of 5.9 for my primary HDD

I am getting windows experience index of 5.9 for my primary HDD. It is higher end MBP Retina with 1TB SSD model. I tried to see this index after noticing lagging issue in my applications. Is this normal?

Windows Experience Index is highly improved to 7.9 from 5.9 after apply all the windows updates.

[Incoming Payments for WTax] Primary Key not exist in DB

While performing the TDS upgrade, I am getting an error message as "[Incoming Payments for WTax] Primary Key not exist in DB".
I have checked that the sheet conforms to the instructions provided in the Upgrade guide but am not able to resolve this.
Any ideas?

Hi,
It seems to be some field in the TDS upload Excel sheet which has primary key field not having the correct value.
Double check the same where Primary Key if linked with some value in other sheet, enter the same.
