RichTech's Atomic Web Browser Missing From The App Store
Can anyone please check and see if they are able to locate and download this alternative browser on their iPad? I'm with a friend and we were trying to load apps on their new iPad and if you click on an outside link or try to search for it you get no results. It's like it's missing from the App store entirely.
Looks like Atomic Web browser was pulled from the App Store due to the use of private APIs in violation of Apple's policy:

I have an iPod Touch and am going on a cruise where I have been told that Safari won't work on the ship so I need to download Firefox. My iPod said that Safari cna't download it from the Firefox website. I found "Mercury Web Browser" Firefox, in the app store (free) and am wondering if that is what I need? - I never heard that but it may be true. It could be that for some reason Safari can't be used to log into the network. Once logged in, Safari should work fine
- However, I see nothing that say the Mercury Web Browser is Firefox. I would contact the cruise line and ask if and how you use the ship's['s wifi for an iPhone or iPad (it will apply to iPod touch) -
I bought my Iphone4S from australia and then moved back to my country which is India. Two days back "GAMES" catogeries was missing from the app store. I have no idea why it went gone missing.I have tried to signing in the app store several times but stil it doesn't show the GAMES catogery. Help me out.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -
S health missing from the app store
Ive noticed that I cant find S- health in the galaxy apps store. I wanted to update it but I cant seem to find it and I cant find the update online. Does anyone know where I can update my S-health at?
My S Health was giving me an error message also. I tried something and it worked. My S Health is working now. Here is what I did.
I went to the Application manager
Scrolled over to the All section
Scrolled to find S health in the list of applications
Selected S Health and clicked the Uninstall Updates button
After that S Health now works without any error messages
I still have not been able to find the app listed in Samsung Apps (now called Galaxy Apps) since the upgrade to 4.4.4. -
Yamaha AV Controller APP is missing from the app store. Why?
This is the controller that controls the YAMAHA AV recievers in the RX series. It's gone missing?
We are not Apple. We have no idea. Ask Yamaha.

I would like to make my ipod touch unable to download any kind of internet browser from the app store, while still keeping internet access avalable for apps
There is no way to select just a genre of apps like that. You can use restriction settings to disable the ability to install apps, and you can disable Safari - that way no active web browser and no ability to download and install any apps. Apps already installed that use data access will still run just fine.

Is there a way to hide apps from the app store?
I don't want my kids to see those "free" apps that nag you to spend real money and download their other apps!
I can hide them from "purchased apps", but they still show up when browsing for new apps!
Is there a way to hide them so that my kids will never see them when looking for new apps?Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps. -
I had to restore my iPhone, but my apps from the app store are now missing. However, they are still backed up on my PC. I tried synching, but no luck. Any ideas??

I bought garage band from the app store and downloaded it to my mac mini. When i try to open a screen comes up explaining i need to down load missing files. I do this but when try to open GB again the same thing keeps happening! Can anyone help.

In similar cases it helped to remove the GarageBand "Preferences" file from the User Library.
Open the folder
your home folder > Library > Preferences
and move the file "com.apple.garageband.plist" to the Desktop.
Then try again to launch GarageBand.

I have just downloaded iPhoto from the app store. The photo library from my old laptop was backed up on an external hard drive and I retrieved the photos from there. Now when I open the photos on my new Mac Book Pro, they are small - am I missing something?

That means you imported one Library to another.
Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
So the reason you're seeing small photos is because you're seeing the iPhoto thumbnails from the back up library.
So, what to do?
Do you still have the back up? If so, trash this bunged up library and restore from the back up again. HOw to restore will depend entirely on how you made the back up, but no version of restoring includes importing the library.

Same issue but I'm still on my 5c. I originally thought the issue was due to it's new link to game center so I could be pushed ads like with how crazy taxi is now. Or at least requiring being online to use.
Im wondering if it's even worth paying for a game when eventually it will be turned into the freemimum model anyhow.
I hope someone has an answer for this. -

That suggests that the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

10.9 is free, so you could upgrade to that if you wished
if that's not an option for software compatibility reasons, you'd either need to re-install it from the original disks (that came with the computer, or a seperate iLife disc), a backup, or purchase a boxed version from someplace like eBay or Amazon (Amazon has iLife '11 for $39) -

When I try to update from the app store on my iMac I get an error. An error has occured cannot connect to software update server (C08229p). Does anyone know how to fix this. The computer is connected to the internet. I have tried to boot in safe mode but still get the error. I can't update anything. Can anybody help?
