Right "Alt+z" - why is overriden/blocekd by portal?

Hello.
I design portal in Polish language. In file edit form (I think it a part of AdminExplorer layout: Folder -> New -> Text File) the combination Alt+Z, which is required to type a specific polish letter, is overriden by portal and nothing happens after pressing those keys.
When trying to type AltShiftZ, which corresponds to big version of the letter, focus switches to upper-right icon (open new window, refresh, presonalize, remove from page, details).
In other edit forms, especially XML forms which open in new window, it works ok.
How to disable this feature, to allow the use of AltZ and ShiftAlt+Z combination?

The option, that seems to be responsible for those actions - 'Activate Accessibility Features' is not activated for the user. Therefore, I think that the problem lays somewhere else.

Hp t510 right alt key mapping not working with ctrl + s

Using the HP t510 to launch a xendesktop session via storefront. We have a mission critical application that uses the ctrl + alt + s hotkey to secure itself. The left alt key with ctrl + s is working as it should but the right alt key does not. When testing in the win7 on screen keyboard the right alt and ctrl stay lit up. When hitting the S key after depressing both the right alt + ctrl (right or left ctrl doesn't matter) the alt keys disappear from the on screen keyboard as if they were no longer pushed. They hotkey combination never makes it to the application and it does not secure itself.
I've tested this same workflow on an ASUS thin client, desktop, and laptop hardware with no issues. It does in fact seem to be some hotkey mapping the HP device has baked into it using the right alt key.
Has anyone seen any issues that even closely mimic this? I've seen some for ctrl + alt + del but their fixes don't work for this specific issue.

I doubt it was either. As I suggested the possiblity the two issues were related. One of a number things could have been the cause, and the solution.
It took me several minutes to finalize my post in which during that time Apple could have very easilty got things back up and running. The two issues could have been unrelated.
Chamar - tt also appears you posted a screen shot from the Mac App store. The link I provided was specifically for the online "Apple Store" - not "App" store.
And again, as it's been an issue in the past - I suggested the two issues may have been related; it usually is, because your Apple ID is tied to "everything Apple" - Mac App store, iCloud, FaceTime, iTunes, Apple Store online, and even here, including the forums... "everythig Apple."
I even tried to get onto Apple Store online through the App on my iPhone. I get the exact same screen shot I placed in my original post. At any rate... everything is back up and running.

Change Right Alt/Option Key Shortcut

Hi, I can't figure out how to turn off the shortcut when I press the Right Alt key by itself. Right now when I press the key it puts the window I'm using to the background. The problem is I can't use any of the multi-key shortcuts with the Right Alt key because of this stupid preset option.
Does anyone know how to change this? I can't find this setting anywhere in the keyboard shortcuts or anywhere else in system preferences.

It sounds like you may have accidently set one of the key functions for Expose to that option key. Check in your system preferences, expose and spaces options to make sure.

Requiring Right Alt, remapping keyboard does not work

I require the Right Alt button in a game. I can't change the settings of the game cause it's a lazy port from the playstation.
I've tried remapping the keyboard with the program which rewrites the registry, it works when I use notepad or office, but in the game itself, it doesn't.
I also know that normally, ctrl + option key is the equivalent of right alt. But also no success
Any workarounds?

M30X-118 right alt (AltGr) problem

I just bought a new M30X-118 laptop. We are German company working in Poland and need to use Polish signs require 'right alt" button labeled AltGr. This button is moved very right, close to arrows and there is very inconvenient to use it writing Polish.
There is another button close to space, on the right side if it without any label.
My question is; there is any way to assign AtlGr function to this unlabeled button? What is the function of this button. You probably can meet the same problem with German letters.

It solved my problem, however took some time due to had couple of times read real key code. probably this SW works with standar keybord and every first key code Id. was wrong, but next gave good result. To do it I ahad to replace key 86 with 57400 (first number was 541 and wrong)

I cannot save photos from any webpage using a right click on Firefox, so I must open Internet Explorer to do that, yet my friend can do it on FF with his computer. Why is that?

Hi, I changed my tab key with my altgr key using xmodmap on linux, (for my xmonad setup) it works everywhere but firefox and thunderbird, my main concern is about firefox, I tried safe mode and disabling all extensions but it didn't work, any one knows why?

Igarcez, It is not specific altgr key mapping. any key mapped through xmodmap does not work in firefox or thunderbird. I repaired an old laptop where the x is not working. assigned the x to the windows key, and only in mozilla products, it will not work.
looks like mozilla uses its own keymapping program....

Firefox doesn't allow me to email a webpage by right-clicking anymore - Why?

I used to be able to right-click on a webpage, and email the page. Then, something changed, and when I right-clicked, that option was not immediately available. Instead, I had to right-click, hover over a main category that then offered me two options, once of which was emailing the webpage through Yahoo. When I did that, the email would fill with the link, but a lot of junk about Yahoo, too.
Now, when I right-click just two weeks later, option is completely gone. So, now, I cannot email a webpage just be right-clicking. I have to copy the link, open an email, and paste the link. What happened, and can I get back?

hello cera78, mozilla does clean up its user interface from time to time. user interface studies have shown that this context menu entry is only used by <1% of the users.

LightRoom 2.3 Does not show up in "open With" when image right clicked..Why?

I noticed that when I right click on an image and highlight OPEN WITH LightRoom does not show up as a choice.. Just CS4 and other programs. Is there a way to get it to show up?

You can do it. Right-clicking and "opening with" LR is no different than dragging a file from Windows Explorer into the grid view. In either case the import dialog will be launched. If it's already in the catalog you'll get that dialog.
Windows is seemingly unpredictable from time to time as to adding file associations to the context menu. In any case, if you go to the bottom and click "choose program" you can select LR from the expanded list, or navigate to find it if necessary (which shouldn't be necessary).
Typically once you choose it once, it will continue to appear in the short list for that file type, though it depends what new pieces of software you install and how they're associated with file types either upon or after installation.
You can also drag the file(s) from your Explorer window into the grid view, or drag onto the LR icon on your desktop or in your quick launch, which will launch LR and bring up the appropriate dialog.

Administrative Users / Rights cannot change why?

Are you able to modify any of the other SCCM administrative user accounts? Trying to determine if you have "rights" to do so. What SCCM role\s are assigned to the administrative user\group you below to?

ADF 11g - Right Alt+A Shortcut

I noticed that in ADF Table input text fields is used shortcut Alt+A. This shortcut it is also polish national char (ą).
Any solutions for change it?

Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to your computer.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try again.

New phone shows high data usage in My Verizon right after purchase - why?

I purchased a new Galaxy S5 yesterday. We looked at "My Verizon" and saw data usage of 470 MB on the summary, but the phone showed 14 MB. I downloaded the data usage details, and they also showed 14 MB. Today her summary shows 1556 MB, but the detailed data spreadsheet cells add up to 162.49 MB. The phone is on wifi only. What gives? My wife has averaged around 200 MB per month for years. Is this some kind of fraud? We got my daughter a new IPhone and go nailed for a $10 data overage within a 24 hours. There were two half-gig downloads, but there is no way to trace what they were, whether some kind of Apple-induced downloads or what. Verizon customer service gave us an extra gig since the store failed to tell us that the data usage was pro-rated. They also failed to tell my wife to set the phone to wifi only until all of the phone's little data-sucking default applications did their updates. I was totally off contract with 5 phones, and just put 4 new little data-sucking piggy phones back on contract for two years for my family. My own phone number 5 will not be with Verizon. Unless they change their loan-shark practices on data charges, this will be my last contract with Verizon. Their customer support folks are great, but I have a low tolerance for a billing system that cannot be audited for accuracy in data charges.

Regarding your second comment, you are dead-on correct. My daughter's last plan was Virgin with unlimited data and 200 minutes of talk. We failed to sit down together and go over the differences. While I was ultimately responsible for explaining the need to turn off cellular coverage at home, I still feel the need to let my Verizon sales rep know to stress this to customers like us who have lived for years with unlimited data plans.
I am taking your advice and pulling the trigger on Republic tomorrow. They have a referral plan that will give both me and my son $19 after the first payment period ends. I appreciate your feedback!
