Right-click "Browse Folder" removed from Gnome?

The latest gnome has removed my favorite option "Browse Folder" from the right-click (context) menu. Anyone know how to get it back? The old menu used to have Open first followed by Browse Folder. Now we only have "Open".

The right-click functionality is something that is unique to Captivate. Adobe probably implemented some clever solution so that if you right-click a Captivate generated swf it won't bring up the normal flash right click menu but instead look for right-click interaction in your project.
If you load a Captivate swf into Presenter (or any other shell) it is no longer the Captivate generated swf that will "receive" the right-click from the user since this is loaded into a shell. The Presenter swf would be the one receiving the right-click and since it doesn't have the right-click functionality from Captivate it will just present the regular Flash right click menu.
I doubt that there is any way to circumvent this when you are loading your Captivate project into a shell unfortunately.

Only the subject shows up above the line. MattAuSupport said to right click the folder, select properties and repair. But what folder are you talking about? Where will I find it?

To answer your question, it would be the folder that you are complaining about. So back to you, What folder are you having problems with? The Sent folder? Then that would be the one to right click to repair.
It is kind of like flat tires. You repair the one the air came out of.

User folder removed from sharing

Dear Guru.......
Today morning our SD consultant trying to release the request form DEV but they are unable to do it.
I checked the same and realize that our usr folder has been removed from sharing..in all DEV TEST & PROD...
I traied for sharing through right click on the folder but not gating sharing option on that....
Request you to look in to this matter and give some idea how to resolve the same...

Screen hangs and then reloads when i right click a folder or any object in windows 8.1

when ever i right click something like a picture,docx,folder etc the cursor shows the loading sign and does not load right-click menu and after showing the loading sign for a few seconds, screen hangs(screen becomes white-ish) and after few more seconds
reload. no matter how many times i right-click same thing happens

What will this do actually? will it refresh my Pc(remove apps etc)?

Why can't I right-click to save images from webpages with FF 3.6.13?

Ever since I updated my FF version to 3.6.13, I find I have trouble saving images from websites. And not just on specific websites, but everywhere (and they aren't protected or anything from saving). In the past I could right-click on them and do "save as..." Now the only option I have is "save link as..." Whenever I click on this, nothing at all happens. Is this a bug with version 3.6.13? It's really annoying.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Similar to the previous post, I resolved by doing the following:
    1. Open REGEDIT.EXE and go to Edit -> Find... In the Find dialog box type "OutlookSecureTempFolder" without the quotes and locate that registry key.
    2. That key will contain the actual folder location, and will look like:
       C:\Documents and Settings\%USER_NAME%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK#\ (where # is a random letter or number)
    3. Copy the location of that folder.
    4. Click on Start -> Run... and paste the folder location from step #4 then click OK.
    5. Windows Explorer will open that folder. Please, delete all files present.
    6. Restart Microsoft Outlook and you should be able to open your attachments.

If you are using Outlook 2003, follow these steps:
Click My Computer, and then double-click drive C.
On the File menu, click New, and then click
Folder.
Name the folder temp0.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click
OK.
Locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\
In the right pane, double-click OutlookSecureTempFolder.
In Value Data field, type C:\temp0\ and then click

I used this on Outlook 2007. Also used the "let us fix it for you" link in the help section after backing up the registry and everything is working, at least for now.

Windows Server 2008 Explorer error when i right click on folder

I have installed a new Windows Server 2008 64-bit, update it to latest.
I have a problem that happens when i right click on a folder. The error only happens if i right click on a folder that has only 1 character long folder name. Doesn't matter if the name is for example: "1" or "a" or "f", the explorer.exe crashes and gives me

The error happened to me on different pc before so it is not related to hardware. The problem happens also if i create folder on desktop, problem stays if i create a new account, the problem goes away if i rename the folder to at least 2 character long name
(for example: "1a", "de"), by slowly double click it. If i go to Start --> Computer --> Local Disk (C:) --> create New Folder with 1 character long name and than go to Organize, i can cut, but not do the same to paste the folder inside another location,
because the error happens.
I didn't install Visual Studio.
How to solve the problem ?

This is not the usual behavior of the windows Server.
Please perform the following things
1) Perform a clean boot

Right-click image sizing missing from 14.2 PS/Windows

In CS5, I could right click the frame of an image and adjust image size or canvas size without going to a menu - nice shortcut and it had been in several previous versions. In 5.5 (IIRC), that went away, but came back in CS6 and CC... and with the 14.2 update (Windows, 8.1, 64-bit) I just updated to... it's gone again!
This sounds like nothing, but it's a big time-and-motion saver to be able right-click the frame and adjust the sizes rather than having to navigate the menus. Can we have this back, please? (It's like code from the 5.5 code line got re-incorporated into the CC code line after it had been removed for CS6...)

Yup, Thanks, Kelly. I'm aware of the shortcuts and they're good to have. My issue is that this feature was in for several versions, taken out in one version (5.5), got back in to my great pleasure in CS6 and CC... and now has disappeared again. I can't believe this is an intentional design change on Adobe's part, an improvement because keyboard shortcuts or using the menu is so much better than having a quick right-click on the image frame. I think it's just a goof that will be rectified at next compile time. My thanks also to JJMack for reporting this to Adobe. I'm not sure how to do that.

Right clicking to save photos from web source

I am trying to save PICS from a web-site and I am stumped about the "right-click." What is the Mac substitute for this command?
It is a subscription service so I can't send you the URL.
If you'd like to save photos to your computer, simply hold the cursor over one of slideshow pictures and select Visit Gallery. From there, you'll be able to download individual ones by opening a photo, right-clicking, and selecting Download This Photo.

On a Mac, right-clicking is done by holding down the control key when you click on the image or file.
Alternatively, just dragging the image to your desktop usually does the trick.

Can't right-click edit in photoshop from lightroom

Using latest versions of lightroom and photoshop. I want to right click an image in light room and select "edit in photoshop" but the selections are all greyed out and will not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop but this did not fix the problem.

I am searching this forum for the same issue. I am a hobbyist photographer, who used to work on LIghtroom first and then open the same photo from LR to photoshop CC and made few minor adjustment. After installing CC 2014 version, this feature is gone. Photoshop CC is opening and nothing is happening. Again, I have to open the image in photoshop CC manually, which is really annoying. Hope someone from photoshop team is listening.

Why were the new tab and new window right click menu items reversed from FF3.6 on FF4?

I've been using Firefox since before version 1. when you right click on a hyperlink the first menu item had always been "open in new tab" and the second item was "open in new window" Now in Firefox 4, they have been reversed and it is a major pain in the rear. I even went and checked Firefox 3.6 on other PCs to make sure I wasn't wrong, and sure enough, they are reversed. I have verified this on both Windows XP and 7. I find my self constantly opening new windows instead of tabs. Is there a way to change this besides going back to ver. 3.6? Dumbest idea anyone at Mozilla ever had. Please change it back to the old way in 4.1

Thanks edmeister with that add on I was able to change it. I still feel it was a bad idea to change it in the first place. I don't like the tabs up on top by default versus being in the old location either, but I did find how to fix that.
I want Firefox to look and function like Firefox not chrome or opera. If I wanted chrome or opera I'd install it. I tried both and didn't like the interface of either one of those. You listening Mozilla?

Folder removed from computer then restored but not recognised...

Hi everybody, I have accidentally copied my iTunes folder from one drive to another on my PC. Then I cpoied it back where it used to be but now my iPhone does not recognise it when synching and does not find my apps - so my backup is gone although I can see them there. Can somebody help me find a solution for it? Maybe I messed something up in the folder structure... Thanks in advance!

See where iTunes thinks a particular missing file should be (Get Info, cancel when asked to locate file, then read location from the Summary tab). Compare this with the actual location of the same track. Hopefully it will be clear what you've done wrong and you can move your files back to where iTunes is looking for them.
Alternatively try my FindTracks script which can reconnect your media. Apps should link up if you reconnect to one "missing" app and let iTunes attempt to repair other links by looking in the same location.

Right Click and deleted Song from Playlist and want it back

I had duplicates in my playlist so deleted seconds...Now the one left won't play... Have tried to add the song back to the playlist and it shows up but still won't play. I've deleted the playlist and then restored but the song(s) still won't play. I can get another artist's version but not the artist I want. CAN I GET THE SONG(S) BACK? If so, how?

As a user, you only have the option to restore entire playlists. If you want specific songs to be restored, you'll have to get in contact with the staff via an online contact form; if you get a no-reply, just reply and it will be send to a staff member.
