Right click in swf - "About Xcelsius" can i delete it ?

Hi everyone !
It´s my first post around here. I started working with Xcelsius a few time ago.
I have one question about the right click menu inside a swf presentation of xcelsius, is there any way no to show the "About Xcelsius".
My company is sending to clients some dashboards and in a very competitive world as we are living today we don't want to show our competitors the tools that we are using to get some advantage in the business
I will be very apreciated if someone tell me if it is posible or no to do such change in the swf.

This is possible in Flash as a regular build by having custom right-click menus. I'm not sure if this is possible in Xcelsius, but I have to think that there must be some way to do it, given the same code structure.
That said, I'm not sure exactly how you would go about modifying the SWF's actionscript after runtime. There may be a way to decompile the SWF after production, enhance the ActionScript with what you're looking for, and then to recompile.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

You can neither merge or delete them. Pick one and stop using the other. If they both have purchases associated with them you will have to keep using both.

Right clicking a SWF and icons in ContextMenu

Is there any support for right clicking, other than the
ContextMenu/ContextMenuItem functions to modify the default right
click menu? Can I add right click support anywhere else in my SWF?
Somehow I doubt it.
In the ContextMenu/ContextMenuItem functions mentioned above,
can you somehow create icons next to the menu items you add to the
right click context menu? Again, not sure it is supported.
Any thoughts on a work around or support for either would be
helpful.

I used to be able to scroll with the button on my laptop (between left and right-click buttons) and now I can't

there's a square button on my laptop between the right and left-click buttons which is meant to use to scroll down pages with. it worked before I upgraded, and now id doesn't. how can I change that? my laptop is an Acer from e-machines

You can press press F7 (on Mac: fn + F7) to toggle caret browsing on/off.

Right Click- About Dashboards in Same Window

Hi ,
When we right click on SWF file , I see "About Dashboards" button. And this button takes us to below SAP portal in a NEW WINDOW.

I can right click to select "check spelling" in e-mails, but how do I change a setting for this to occur automatically? I often don't remember to right click!

Note that websites can disable the spelling check via a spellcheck="false" attribute.<br />
In current releases this will remove Check Spelling in the right-click context menu, but in your old version this will uncheck the box in the right-click context menu.
You can right-click in the text editor area and use "Inspect Element" to see if this text area has a spellcheck="false" attribute.<br />
Removing this spellcheck="false" attribute by selecting it via a double-click and using the Delete or Backspace key should make the Check Spelling item in the right-click context menu reappear.

With version 3.6.3 I can no longer do a right click with the mouse and check the properties of a live url link on web pages

Windows XP Pro, SP3. Firefox 3.6.3. Ever since updating to this version a few weeks ago I can no longer do a right click of the mouse and check the properties of an active url link on webpages. I've always had the option before. I want this feature back!!!!

In Firefox 3.6 Properties has been removed from the right click context menu.
You can use ''View Image Info'' or ''View Page Info'' in the right click context menu to see the (image) properties.
You can use the above mentioned extension (Element Properties 6) to get that context menu item back.

Some users on 8.1 Pro can't right click desktop

When on desktop, some users cannot right click on start and get menu, nor right click on anything, yet others can. This is on same desktop since I have roaming users. However, they can on other pc's. All are new Lenovo all-in-one machines with all updates.

Can't Download Images with Right-Click on Mouse

I can't download images by right-clicking my mouse, like I do on my PC. For example, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Dakota and look at the images of the flag, state seal and map near the top right corner of the page...
When I place my cursor over any of these images on either my PC or my MacBook Pro, my cursor changes to a hand, indicating that the images are hyperlinked. If I right-click on an image, I can choose a SAVE AS command on my PC, but nothing happens on my MacBook Pro.
If I left-click on a linked image, it simply zooms in, rather than taking me to another page. I'm using a small Kensington mouse.
This could be a Firefox problem. I think I recall downloading some sort of extension that allows you to zoom in on images, and I suspect it's more or less taken over. If so, I'll have to track down the name of the extension and try and zap it.
But I thought I'd check here first, just to see if other people have this same problem - or if you can suggest alternate strategies for downloading images.

Well, I found a novel solution - it's called Safari.

just fine with Apple's native browser. Thanks for all

I just tried it, but I am using firefox 2.0 beta and I had no problems. Not sure what's going on. Have you tried any other pages or pics besides this one, which I don't think it would matter just wondering.

Can I right click on the iPad

Is there any way to simulate a right click in Safari on an iPad?

I'm in Safari and want to right click the page so I can View Source like on a PC. I tried holding down my finger and it just highlights the first word on the page and allows you to copy or define the word. Similarly, if I see an image I want to download or copy I can't right click it.

Silverlight is a promising but maturing technology. The current version doesn't support right click menus. If you want to check out some of the cool things Silverlight does provide, check out the new NI Network Browser technology!

Right click capability & a photo query

I am wondering if there's a way for me to have the right click capabilities one has in Windows. I have an OS X 10.3.9 on an iBook G4. There's a lot of things that I can't do because of not being able to have right click capabilities such as "save target as" etc.
My second question is about a way I can use a keyword shortcut to open up a series of files within a folder. I am a researcher and so take a lot of photos of documents and books. It is very inconvenient to use iPhoto to read documents since the window/frame for each photo is very small in iPhoto. So what I do is to just open up the image through Preview. My question is how I could open up let's say 100 photos in a single folder one after another with the fewest possible key and/or mouse touches. So I am looking for a way to read a 100 page book in the easiest way possible. In the long run, when we're talking about working on a dissertation, this saving of time matters greatly. Hope I was clear on the second question.

Question 1: The 'right click' option on the mac can be achieved by pressing the "control" key as you click the left button on the mouse (or single button on the mouse pad). Or you can purchase an inexpensive USB mouse with left, right, and scroll buttons... That will make your work a little easier.
Question 2: Open the folder that contains the 100 pictures you want to view. Press the "command/Apple" and "a" keys at the same time. This will select all the files in that folder.
Now, press the control key and mouse pad button (or "right-click"), which should open a dialog box. Click on "open with", and click on "Preview." This should open all your pictures in Preview, and you can just scroll through them.

Magic Mouse won't right click on files, but works fine otherwise. 10.6.8

My Magic mouse just suddenly seemd to stop right clicking on files. I can right click on blank sapces in finder or on the desktop and it gives me the usual drop down menu but as soon as I try and right click or ctrl+click on a file there's just nothing. Can't seem to find any similar problems on google. Any ideas?

Hi, yes. The right click would work at start-up until I click on 'always allow' for permissions for google drive, then it dissappears
Unfortunately I found no other workaround other than to switch to the other views (although I strongly dislike working in the other views). But I just use Drive in my internet browser when I do use it, so it's okay for me to uninstall it. Maybe it's something to contact google about so they can fix it on there side.
