Right click on firefox at bottom bar no longer shows minimize all windows option
using 3.5.7 because the new version is a memory hog and had other unusual problems esp with flash - have not upgraded (FF, OS etc) anything but this option suddenly disappeared. using Win 7.
hello trader776, please try to unpin the firefox icon from the taskbar and then pin it again by right-clicking the entry in the start menu/desktop.

Create a desktop shortcut link when right clicking in Firefox
When I use Internet Explorer and I right click when I am on any website, there is a Create Shortcut option for putting that website onto my desktop.
When I use Firefox and I right click when I am on any website, there is no such option.
I want to know how to insert that option into Firefox for right clicking for myself.You can drag the favicon on the left end of the location bar onto the desktop to create a shortcut.
You can also use an extension.

The "Frequent" section each time I see it, has added previous sites that I have visited. This list then has lots of duplicates in it. I do not need that, and would like to keep this listing a a favored few.
Is there a way to stop having superfluous web-sites added to the "Frequent" list ??

Mac user OS 10.6.8 Firefox 6.0.2. Click the Firefox icon in dock, program does not open new window. Type cmd+N to open new window, cmd+T to open new tab or cmd+L to enter URL, nothing happens. What causes this, and what can be done?
It's strange. The problem apparently resolved itself after I ran TechTool on it. When I clicked on Firefox last night, I had no problem opening a window. Thanks for your help. (As to your previous post, the focus was on Firefox and neither the speed keys nor the menu bar would open a window or tab of allow me to enter a URL to open a window. Strange!)

After upgrading to Firefox 7.0 my URL bar no longer shows me what protocol is being used when using port 80 http. How do I turn this feature back on?
The protocol (http://) has been removed from the URL in the location bar <u>for http:// pages only</u>. '''https:// pages will still have the protocol'''. This may be confusing to some users. There's also a known bug where if you copy the URL after selecting it from the awesome bar dropdown (but before loading the page) it won't include the http:// part.

How can I get the picture to show in Photoshop CS3? The thumbnail image appears in the right side panel but the full image isn't showing at all.
What specific information would you need? The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore. It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.

How do I "Save target as ..." when it does not exist on right clicking in Firefox?
Some web sites allow files and free mp3 tracks to be downloaded by right clicking on an icon and selecting "save target as ...". But Firefox does not have this option. How do others handle this? I have had to go back to Internet Explorer to use this privilege.

When I clicked to open Firefox the update bar appeared and an update loaded. Usually when this happens Firefox will open up when the update is finished. This time it did not open. when I clicked on the icon again the blue screen opened and said something about a new installation and if this was the first time you have seen this screen restart your computer and try again. I restarted the computer and when I clicked on the Firefox icon the "hour glass" would appear like it was trying to open but it never would open. I don't know what else to do.

Recently my Firefox hasn't been letting me see right click menus. It only happens in Firefox, and will still let me use keyboard shortcuts (such as pressing 'T' after right clicking on a link to open it on a new tab). when i right click and select 'view image info', that info box and the browser window lock up. i have to manually close firefox to reset the browser and gain access. sometimes, i have multiple firefox browsers open when this happens, and both browsers lock up, and all three (both browsers and the image info window have to close down together..
