Right clik fox, menu icons for frequent use sites missing?

If firefox is open i right click on the taskvar f/fox icon and a menu comes up. At the top is a list of sites i use frequently. All the sites are missing there icons. It was workin up untill today. I have deleted all the sites from menu and restarted f/fox but once it pick up the sites i use they still have no icons. PLus its putting in sites i havent used.

I had to contact Canon Tech Support and had to re load the driver softwear using the OS X 10.7 choice, since the 10.8 choice is not there yet. Also had to download the opener and after 45 minutes I had solved the problem. The steps are too many to go into all the details but that is the genral idea. It should work for others.

Is there a way to set up an automatic paste function for frequently used phrases.
My husband has an unusually long email address which he cannot change - he is not good at typing. I would like to help him by creating a sort of shortcut or auto paste function on his IMac to save him time and frustration. Any suggestions?

Are you really using an earlier OS than Mac OS 8.6? That would be either 8.1, or 8.5 if I recall correctly.

I don't know how it happened why, but the icon for rotation lock is missing from the control bar. Second problem, the passcode for my iPad isn't working. I wrote it down, so not sure what the problem is. HELP

If the setting for the rotation lock is missing it is because you are using the side switch to control the rotation in Settings>General>Use Side Switch to>Lock Rotation. The software switch in the control center should be for Muting system sounds.
you have to restore the iPad in orde to unlock it now.
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong ...
If you are sure that you are entering the correct passcode, reboot the iPad and then try again and see if it is accepted.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Prior version to new one had facility to bring up frequent used sites. Now very frustrated, as I have to type in these sites each time I use the new system. I wish I had not upgraded! Now takes much longer. There is no stream lining here.

When I would use laptop before installing upgraded latest version of mozilla. I could go to frequent used site log and just click on a site and I would be straight into site of preference. Now this no longer exists with new version. I cannot find this anywhere, so now I have to type in each site I need access to. You have made it far less easier to use and it is much slower. Am I missing something here? Like google with there chrome version it is worse not better. I removed that too. Please advise otherwise your latest version will go the same way!

Not all apps support airplay, especially video ones. The app developer has to make it support airplay and some don't as they don't want you to watch other than on your device. Apple has no control over this, it is the app developer's call.

My icon for the camera is missing!

Today I tried to take a picture and I can't find the icon for me to click to take one. I looked everywhere in all the folders and the folder that I had it in it wasn't there. Where did it go? Was it done during the last update that I just did? How can get it back? I couldn't have deleted it as that can't be deleted from me, like the other ones that came with the phone that I don't want.

I didn't do anything to setting the restrictions and when I tried to see what it said it said that the restrictions were on. I can access everything from the every folder to every icon except for the camera. I did use the camera two weeks ago and the only time I went into the settings since then was to find out what had to be done to fix the problem with the phone not showing the change to day-light savings.
I couldn't have done anything to do with the restrictions because when I went into see how things are set up I had to type in the password. I don't remember what the password is nor do I remember if I even created on. With all this how could I have gotten in the restrictions and did something to make the camera inaccessible? If I did the reset what would it do with what I have personally set up in the phone?

If you will go to settings to itunes and apps store. Once you've logged in with your apple id you then are given the option to automatically download apps that were purchased using the Apple id in which you logged in with .

How can I put an icon for a particular site (i.e. The Times) on the desktop

Under internet explorer I can put an icon on the desktop for a particular site so that my husband can find it easily! He reads the Times on Line but there is a technical problem with using Internet Explorer so we were advised to try Mozilla Firefox. The problem doesn't occur on Firefox but I can't find out how to put an icon on the desktop for him.

Right side of menu bar freezes after using AirPlay Mirroring

When I use Airplay Mirroring with my MacBook Pro to stream "web only" videos on Hulu (or to stream Amazon Prime videos) onto my Apple TV, afterwards the right side of my menu bar gets the rainbow spinny thing (the "spinning beach ball of death," as my sister calls it)
I can't click on anything, the time and battery status won't move, the only thing I can click on on the right side is the Notifications tab thing and also DropBox. The left side is working fine, I can click on everything and it responds.
My dad fixed it last time it did this, I think he repaired the permissions or something (not sure though, I wasn't there when he did it.) So I know I can fix it, but I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem/if it's an issue with the software or just my computer. If it's just my computer, I'll tell Apple and ask them to fix it.

Create a new user and see if it happens within that user. If it does, reinstall the operating system. This is also known as an Archive and Install. Be sure to back up your data first. If it doesn't, drag the com.apple.finder.plist file to the desktop from the folder [home folder]/Library/Preferences and restart and see if the problem persists. If it goes away, the issue was a corruption in that file. Let me know if you have any questions.

The menu icons for yahoo toolbar are gone and I can't get them back. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no icons. What do I do?

This is the second time in a week this has happened. The last time I got them back by right clicking on a blank spot in the toolbar. That will not work this time. I there anything else I can do to make it work right. It is working fine on Explorer 8, which I have also, but really prefer Firefox. Please tell me how to fix it. When I was using Windows XP, the only things I saw in the task bar were shortcuts to the applications I was running. The system tray also has shortcuts, but to background processes that have changeable settings.
