Right side scroll bar disapears after I have applied a flash object

Right hand side scroll bar dispears after I have embedded a
flash object on the page, I have no idea why?. Here is an example;
http://www.ldnwrestling.com/profiles/Johnathan%20Hartwick/LDNJohnathan%20Hartswick.html
And I have also copied and pasted the code.
Any ideas anyone?

I found a resolution for this - remove the
overflow: hidden;
then it works :-)

  • The right side scroll bar on firefox no longer has an up and down arrow after my last update. I have to fix this! Please help!

    After my last update with Firefox, my right-hand scroll bar no longer has up and down arrows. I really need to get them back. I'm using a Mac laptop.

    So the whole button is missing. I have no idea how to fix the default theme, since it is inside omni.ja, which is not accessible from just any archive handler, and I have not found any way to open it. My problems were with third party themes, and I managed to fix those by editing parts of the themes.
    Maybe you could set up scrollbars yourself by using a userChrome.css file plus images. You could get some tips by opening third party themes and looking at their scrollbars.css files.

  • Ok.  I'm stumped.  The right side scroll bar on my pages documents disappears sometimes.  I don't know how to restore that function.  If I widen the page field, it will appear for a short time.  Very annoying if I am just using trackpad.  What to do?

    Ok.  I'm stumped.  The right side scrool bar on Pages documents disappears sometimes.  I have no idea why. Nor do I know how to get it back.  I've tried closing and reopening and restarting my macbook pro.  If I widen the right side, I get the scroll bar for just a few seconds and then if fades away.  I can't find anything it the help menus that fits it.

    geek,
    The scroll bar is consistent with the Full Screen approach in trying to maximize the working area of your screen. The scroll bar fades to make room for data. So, use your 2-fingered scroll or arrow keys for short moves. If you have a long way to scroll, the scroll bar will activate any time you scroll with the trackpad or the arrow keys and you can grab it and pull it to your desired position in the document.

  • Safari 3.0.4 - Right side scroll bar has disappeared!!!

    Anyone else having this problem? I downloaded the latest 10.4 update, with Safari 3.0. Now, the vertical scroll bar that should be on the right side of the Safari window is GONE! Someone else posted that they are experiencing this after they open a .pdf. I don't know if that's happening to me as well, I haven't tested to see if there's a cause and effect.
    Bottom line, my Yahoo home page and any other windows that are taller than my display - I have to hold own the right mouse button and roll the mouse down to get the page to scroll down (and up again). I did not have this issue prior to updating my OS.

    I, too, am having this issue. I have noticed it happen when I've read a pdf document. But there have been times when it seems more random. It happen on my G-5 and intel powerbook. I am having another issue too. I get unintelligible text from some emails. I am wondering if this has to do with Vista. Is anyone else having an issue with text that is not read able? If I mail the letter to a gmail account I can usually read it. The garbage text becomes roman letters again. I'd love to know why. This happens from just certain senders and I've contacted them, but they say I'm the only one that has reported this issue!

  • Container's right Side scroll-bar to left side !!!

    Hi folks,
    I have something like this in my app:
    <s:Scroller width="500" height="500">
         <s:Group>
              <s:RichEditableText editable="false" id="RET"/>
         </s:Group>
    </s:Scroller>
    But the problem is here, the location of scrollbar is in the right side of container... I want it in the left side of my container. How can I do this?!
    and also after that, How can I costumize my scrollbar? change colours and use some specific pics instead of my scrollbar arrow objects?!
    cheers

    I found the way, myself. For my simple code above, It will be something like this:
    <s:Group id="myGroup"
         width="500" height="500"
         x="10" y="10"
         clipAndEnableScrolling="true">
              <s:RichEditableText editable="false" id="RET"/>
    </s:Group>
    <s:VScrollBar height="500"
         viewport="{myGroup}" x="{myGroup.x}" y="{myGroup.y}"/>
    Cheers
    BornA

  • The close button and right side scroll bar are gone, if I minimize the screen I can see them.

    Looking at my screen, the firefox home page & all other websites I bring up, my right side of the screen (where the close X button is and scroll bar is lost behind that side of the screen.
    Looking at my screen, I cannot see the right side of my screen where the X(close button), search button, scroll bar should be.
    When I minimize the screen to a smaller version, I can see the whole page screen, X button, scroll, everything on the right side?

  • I have a new mac pro and can't get a side scroll bar.  What can I do to get this?

    I have a new mac pro and can't get a side scroll bar.  How can I get this?

    The scroll bar is now set to appear automatically when you start scrolling with a trackpad or scroll wheel mouse. If you are using an mouse without a scrolling device, you should change a setting.
    In System Preferences, click General, and in the Show Scroll Bars section, click the option for how you want it to work. If you want to see them all the time click "Always."

    I was looking in my FINDER preferences, not my APPLE preferences.
    Thanks for clearing that up for me.

    after the update, my time, name, etc - all disappeared from the right upper finder bar.  Anyone else have this issue?

    First, make sure they are all still enabled in the respective System Preferences.
    If the are, then do you have any third-party menu extras? They will often interfere with the others if they are not compatible.

  • On every website, my right vertical scroll bar is missing and all of my Toolbar bookmarks unless I minimize the window, click "view" and "full page." How do i get it back to NORMAL?

    When I hit "full page" the right vertical scroll bar re-appears, but my bookmark toolbars, my bing bar, and pretty much the entire top 2 inches of my screen disappears. When all of these things are showing, the right vertical scroll bar disappears, and the entire webpage shifts to the right, so I can't see most of the right side of the page. How do I fix this?

    Welcome to Safari 6 with:
        .   .  t  .   .  a  .   .  b  .   .  s  .   .
    That are the size of tractor-trailer trucks!
    There is no known way to get them smaller except when you get a lot they will "shrink-to-fit".

  • ITune side scroll bars won't scroll when up or down arrow held

    This is a problem, only in iTunes. My side scroll bars stopped working. When I push arrow up or down, they barely budge. I have to manually slide the bar.
    I want my scroll bar function back. Thanks for your help.

    Create a new profile exclusively for the 4.0 beta version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

  • Scroll bar disapeared on all websites

    I upgraded and now have no vertical right-hand scroll bar on any websites I go to, including this one. Any ideas?

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
