  • Sending FAX with attachments using in RightFax

    Hi,
We are in CRM 7. and sending Fax using  RightFax - Rightfax through SMTP/SAP Connect configured.
In case the outgoing Email in format html – attachment not sending through RightFax
    (Mail document class is MHT)
I can see the mail with the attachment in SOST
In case the outgoing Email in format text – attachment sent correcty.
    )Mail document class is RAW)
It’s probably related to mail document class,
But I didn’t  figure it out.
    Thanks,
    Liat

For oracle8i there is an example package from OTN:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/pl_sql/htdocs/Utl_Smtp_Sample.html
You have to re-write the package a bit to work it with BLOBs instead of RAW attachments, but that should be no problem
    Hop this helps,

  • Rightfax MP for SCOM 2012

    Hello,
I would like to monitor the rightfax environment in SCOM 2012. Is there any one help to provide ideas to monitor the same?
I'm unable to locate the mp for the same.

  • Printing PDF to RightFax v10.0 printer driver

Can no print a PDF using RightFax v10.0 printer driver after upgrading to Reader v11.0.6.

    1. OS - Win7, Win Server 2003, Win Server 2008 R2
    2. v11.0.5 works just fine.
    3. When using v11.0.6, the dialog box for RightFax never appears. Therefore the user cannot fax the PDF out.
Nothing appears in any event log.
For all other applications, v11.0.6 works fine.

  • Fax Cover Sheet from SAP / Rightfax

    Hi,
My requirement is to generate a cover sheet whenever a PO/SO/any document is faxed. We have Rightfax through SMTP/SAP Connect configured. Rightfax does provide a generic cover sheet option but it can only contain the fax numbers and recipient name. It suggests to use SAP Cover sheet. Have few questions, and here they goes:
    1. How can I enable SAP Coversheet? Even after checking the option for cover page I am not able to get any cover page and may have been disabled. I've also checked SAP note 553113 but wanted to check if there's any other way as well.
    2. After I have enabled cover sheet and lets assume the Standard cover sheet is copied in a ZForm, how can I ensure that always the zform cover sheet will processed? I am not able to find any configuration setting for it. I've research to find that SAP uses SO41 OFFICE-TELEFAX coversheet. This observation can be seen when I goto SO02 -> New Message -> Goto -> Fax , a pop up window appears which asks for Fax details. On Top Right, one can check the cover page option but the Coverpage is always specified as 'STANDARD'.
    3. Researched a lot. SDN & Google but not able to come to a conclusion for any specific solution. Appreciate if anyone has worked on this requirement, please share their ideas. There's no much help available as well (seen as much available links in SDN and Google). Basically, the requirement is just to generate a generic fax cover sheet from SAP.
    Thanks,
    Santosh Verma

    Hi,
Thanks for your time in looking the issue.
    @ Sandra,
I've already researched on SDN and google and have visited this link as well. It wasn't of much help. But thanks again.
    @ Weidong,
Actually thought of that solution but wanted to check if there's any generic way. Please let me know further on 'You need change configuration for fax - output type.'. Are you referring to NACE output type configuration?
    Let me add more:
    1. If we set the Parameter 'BCS_NO_FAX_COVER' to 'X' in TMV/SM30 'SXPARAMS', this way, the Fax cover sheet from SAP can be enabled of disabled. This cover sheet uses the Form OFFICE_TELEFAX_M in SE71 (SO43). What worries me, even if I copy the standard to custom, how to make sure that custom form is printed as there is no place where i am able to find any configuration. SAP note 553113 says to edit this form in SE71, that's it.
    2. The other solution is right fax generic cover sheet. Which is generated right now, but with limited info. The Right Fax documentation recommends to use SAP Cover Sheet as the Right Fax cover sheet does not provide much details except Senders Fax No, Recipients Fax Number and Name. This cannot be of much help.
    3. Use a custom form. A custom form which will contain cover sheet data, independent of SAPConnect. This form has to be generated at runtime. This is one of the approaches thought but here's the list of issues with it:
    a. The print program has to be modified as well. Issue when using standard print program. At same time, i think in FP_JOBOPEN one has to specify the cover page as well. Looks good for custom print programs.
    b. Our requirement also looks for mass fax. For eg: lets say, i have to fax, around 10 PO's, there should only be one cover sheet for all the 10 fax documents. This solution may not help here.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Santosh

  • Installer "RightFax Form for Outlook"

    Dear,
I am doing the configuration of the "Cisco Fax Server Version 9.4". I've done the downlad the installers of Cisco's website (because the CD was lost), install and configure the modules and the CUCM (7.1.5.31900-3), but do not know where to find the installer "RightFax Form for Outlook", which contains "RightFax client installation".
I did not find this application on the Internet or Cisco.
So how could I get this installer?
    Thanks for the help.
    Patrick
    ps: I'm using Outlook 2007

    Hello Pouyan,
You can develop an add-in for employee with an Outlook form region. There is no need to publish a customized form. You can store values in user defined fields which you may parse on the manager's side later. See
Creating Outlook Form Regions in MSDN for more information.
Then you can develop a VBA macro or an add-in for the manager to collect the data from the incoming emails. You can customize the Explorer window adding a window like you did with inspectors to display the information. But in that case there is no trivial
way to get the job done. You need to use Windows API functions. See
    Adjacent Windows In Outlook and
Creating Adjacent Windows In Outlook sample project. I have also found the
Additional custom panel in Microsoft Outlook article for you. As an alternative you may consider using third-party tools like Add-in Express. It allows to add custom forms to the Explorer windows in Outlook.
The second way is to show a web page for the folder where you can display the data you need. See
How to programmatically create an Outlook home folder page in the Outlook Today style .
The third way is to use Solutions Module to get the data displayed. See
Programming the Outlook 2010 Solutions Module for more information.
Finally, it can be a single add-in installer or two separate add-ins (for managers and clients).

  • How to send embedded code to RightFax

    Dear All,
I need to send a SAPscript form with RightFax embedded code to spool output.
I add the following command in SAPscript form:-
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <WHO:ADMINISTRATOR>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_TONAME:123>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_TOCOMPANY:ABC>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_TOFAXNUM:12345678>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_PAPERTYPE:SAMPLE_FORM>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_PREVIEW>
    /: PRINT-CONTROL <RFSAP_NOCOVER>
As I need to keep the layout format and fonts in SAPscript form, Postscript device type are selected:-
    Output Device Type -> "POST2"
Host Spool Access Method -> U: Print Using Berkeley Protocol
However, the embedded code cannot be identified by RightFax server.
I also try normal text... but it only output as a part of form layout, but not the code could be identified.
    /( <RFSAP_TOFAXNUM:12345678>
I also try FCL command... but the result also negative...
    /: PRINT-CONTROL {{FAX 12345678}}
Anyone can give me some idea?
    BR,
    Neil

did you ever get a solution to your problem?

  • Rightfax commands in Sapscript/Smartforms

    Hi,
We are using RIGHTFAX with SAP ECC 5.0 for fax sending functionality.
I have read all the threads related to RIGHTFAX functionality but would like to have answers for the following.
    1) Where exactly in a SAPSCRIPT / SMARTFORM form do I add the fax control commands (FCL Commands)so that RIGHTFAX connector for SAP R/3 recognise them?
For eg: I want RIGHTFAX to include a particular cover sheet. For that I need to write the fax control command RFSAP_FCSFILE:file name. But where do I write that inside sapscript/smartform?
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar Pal.
This message is not answered.Somehow it is showing as being answered already. I would appreciate your help/input on this issue. Please respond.

Hi.  First try to set your post as unsolved.  There should be a radiobutton on the left of your post to do so.
TO answer your questions,  what you need to do is to create a page, this page will be printed first.  Put your FCL commands in this page.  When the document is send to the printer device(the one setup for RIGHTFAX), it will have this coding on the first page.  Once it reaches RightFax,  the software will recognize that there is FCL code on this page and will except it, get the values, apply them, and then it strips off this first page.  This is good because we don't want the end user to see this anyway.  So, create a page in your sapscript called FAXPAGE,  put your commands in there and always start your printing at this page.

    3. Will this be a one to one fullfilment

  • RightFax w/BrookTrout won't place outgoing FAX

    Hello,
I have a RightFax server w/Brooktrout T1 card we are going to integrate into a CCM system. The fax server is connected to a 2811 gateway (G2) via T1 ISDN. There is a another 2811 gateway (G1) w/PRI connected to the PSTN. Both gateways are setup as MGCP gateways in call manager. The fax server can receive fax from the PSTN no problem. However, outgoing fax from the fax server fails.
Q931 debug from G2 (directly connected to the fax server) gives "unassigned/unallocated number - call reject" error code. Calls from the G2 PRI outgoing to the PSTN seem to be failing.
My call routing in CM is in place, other MGCP gateways w/pot phones can call out to the PSTN. Seems like a configuration issue, 1st time I've setup FAX in the mode. I've followed the ISDN/MGCP Cisco fax relay config guide. Any help/ideas would be great.

  • RightFax and PDF result in 'Problem Converting Fax Body or Cover Sheet'

    Hi All:
We are trying to send out faxes of invoices and reports to our customers.  We have RightFax software and have used it for a long time.  We are converting our reports to PDF and send them to RightFax.  I am getting 'Problem Converting Fax Body or Cover Sheet'.  I can create a PDF from a word document and it will send it, but files output from SSRS errors.  What is different between the two.
    PhilPHuhn

    Hi All,
We use RightFax and to get around the problem of
Problem Converting Fax Body or Cover Sheet we were told to
open up the PDF you want to send and click print
Select the RightFax printer and hit print.
It will now open up the RightFax window with the PDF attached and you just add in the telephon number and other details
as you would send your fax.
    regards
    Anthony

  • "Enable Protected Mode at startup" stops printing to RightFax

I use a printer to print to RightFax.  It uses a separate print processor to route the printer output to the RightFax Client.  As long as I use RFPrint.dll for the print processor, AdobeReader 11.1 will not work with a printer using the custom print processor.  The only way to get around this is to uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at startup."  Is there a way to tell Adobe reader that this printer, or print processor is ok to print to?

Good point, Pat.  My problem is that I am an engineer for OpenText and I do maintenance for the RightFax project.  This does not just affect me.  All of our customers that use RightFax with Adobe are affected by this.  I would like to understand what Adobe does not like about our printer and fix that problem so that we do not have to tell all of our customers to disable Protected Mode.  Also some of our customers feel that they want to leave protected mode on for better security and if they do, they cannot print to the RightFax Fax printer.  So I need to know what is causing Adobe to reject our printer when Protected mode is on.

  • RightFax VM not taking inbound calls

I know I am not going to provide a whole lot of info since there is so much to post so I thought I would lay out what works and what doesn't in hopes someone can guide me to solution.
We have a current physical RF (RightFax) with a tech line coming straight into it avoiding CUCM.
I have (with help) virtualized the RF and have it going thought the CUCM 8.6 through a 2901 voice router
I can dial out through an existing PRI. I have added a new PRI to accept incoming calls and this is where I am stuck. Internally I can set up a four-digit extension...say 2901...and get to the RF virtual server. I pointed the DID to the new PRI and get the below results but the call rings not allocated:
    001078: Jul  8 12:10:21.663 EDT: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: RX <- SETUP pd = 8  callref = 0x00BA

When the DID was pointed (mistakenly by the Telcom) to our local PRI, it actually worked but not to our new PRI. The settings mirror each other on the two PRIs to boot. Same Telcom and everything.
The internal ext works but not the full number.
Anyone have any thoughts on where I should look?
    THANKS!!!

Ok - so the call is routed into the network and then when you assign it to a route pattern, which is used to route the call to the RightFax server, the call fails.  In that case, you will need to look at the H323 integration between RightFax and CUCM.  First, you'll need to make sure that the versions are compatible.  There are some gotchas when using H323 between CUCM and RightFax just as there are gotchas if you use SIP between CUCM and RightFax.  Personally, I'd try the SIP integration over H.323 but it's not that one is inherently better than the other.  You need to make sure that you configure the CUCM side based on the latest RightFax integration guide.  You also have to make sure that the RightFax is configured appropriately as well.  It needs to 1) be configured to accept calls from the CUCM via either SIP or H323 and 2) have the fax DIDs (or abbreviated extensions - whatever you use) configured so it can process the call as well.
