Rights to Agendas

We are using OCS 9.0.4.
I don't want all users to see the agendas of all other people, only the few that they are working together with, so I have set default rights in user.ini on the calendar server like this:

Then I can explicitly give rights to the ones I want.
However, when users press the View Agendas icon in the Calendar in the Portal and search using the *-wildcard, they get a list of the names of all other users and can press "View" to open it. Now they see an empty calendar that in the top right says "Viewing Agenda of X" (X being the name of the other user you do not have rights to see.)
This could lead people to believe that they actually see the other persons calendar, but that he has nothing in it.
Can I do something to make shure that users only can list calendars that they actually has rights to?

"upcoming events" snippet/widget for iweb

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to create an upcoming events snippet for an iweb page. Here's what I would like to do: I am an athletic director and would I have entered all of my school's athletic contests into iCal. I would like to set up something in which iWeb can pull the events out of iCal (I have mobileme) into a "week at a glance" type of display on our athletics page (made with iweb). Ideally it would automatically update so that as events are completed, the next events would show up.
I know how to embed an iCal calendar into iWeb, but that is not the solution that I am looking for.

I don't know how to make an iCal calendar default to the week view automatically for all viewers. Each viewer has the option to select which view it would like. There is a possible way to do what you want. embed the calendar on a blank page in your site and remove it from the navbar. Set that calendar to the week view as seen in this demo page: iCal calendar
Then add an HTML snippet with iFrame code to the page you want it to show on and set the frame dimensions so that it just includes the calendar. The calendar is sort of tall and would take up an entire page. It can't be scaled.
One the other hand, you can embed a Google calendar, have the week view as the default view and scale in withd to to whatever size you'd like. An example is on this demo page: Google calendar.
The Google map is supposed to be able to display an iCal calendar (see the triangle to the right of Agenda at the top) but I've not been able to get it to work. IMO the Google map is the way to go and more than just you could update it if need be.

Okay installed Microsoft office 2013 and then used that to make a sync and it workt
but i lost loads of events whille syncing the calander :'( any way to get them back ?

Outlook 2003 exchange 2010 shared agenda rights problem

I have a problem:
A user has received permissions on a shared calendar but this does not include the 'remove' option.
This works correctly most of the time. However, this behavior seems to change when it comes to recurring
appointments.
When the user tries to delete it, the 'usual' question comes up i.e.: Would you like to remove this one
or the series?
When the user chooses "the series", nothing happens (as it should be). However, when they choose
"this one", the selected appointment is removed!
Does someone knows a sollution?

Please also check if the user has delegate permission from the calendar owner, try removing the delegate permission if he has.

How do i set an appointment into my iphone and get a warning sign for the appointment to date into my agenda ?

Since IOS5.1 , I been having a hard time getting my agenda to show my appointments and give me a warning sign like alarm or a reminder alarm for them .
Now since the new update we have had one app split into two and gotten reminder and agenda .
Now i have been using o r better said been trying to use the reminder , to get my appointments set right .
But it seems to be that i do not get a warning of any type from my phone about the coming date , i set up the reminder for in the first place .
Before ios5.1 the reminder was intergrated into the agenda and for more easy to use since the new .
Now the agenda has no more option to also add birthdays and other handy reminders which are on a yearly bases .
I have been trying to find out if i missed something or other , and come to the conclusion that i see no options aviable to either enable or disable anything of the sort to change this .
Also i have been reading the manual and i notest that in there is no reminder of how this new stationary app from apple itself works and explained .
Anyone can enlighten me about this please , thank before hand and greetings from verbodentoegang

So I have bought a couple of apps on my iphone and would like to transfer them to my itunes library, but not sure how.
iTunes > File > Transfer purchases
When I plug in my iphone and try and sync the two, I get a warning from itunes that everything on my iphone will be wiped and everything from my itunes library will be moved to it.
Have you changed the computer you are syncing with?

Go to today/date not working in agenda view

I have my calendar set to default to the agenda view when I open the Calendar. When it opens it automatically goes to Oct 31 which is the first entry in my calendar rather then the current date. I go to the menu and select Today and it still remains on Oct 31. I then go to the menu and select Go To Date and the current date defaults as the option, select OK and it still remains on Oct 31. I have to manuall scroll down the current date.
In the day, week, etc views the Today and Go To Date functions work fine. If I set my calendar to default to Day view or last or something else it opens on the correct or last day fine too.
Something is jacked with my Agenda view. HELP!!!
I even tried to delete events prior to the current date to see if this would make them go away and resolve my issue but when I select the Delete Prior and confirm the Delete nothing happens. All prior events are still there.

What you're really interested in is just the code for a professional looking agenda page, right? I don't see that this would be available as an extension. Why not show us the layout you are currently using and perhaps we can make some suggestions for how to create an agenda page or even an agenda template if you imagine having multiple such pages. Also, I would be seriously inclined to make this page data driven, meaning that the page itself is just a framework layout, and the data shown on the page is pulled from a database. That way you don't have to edit the page to add a new agenda item.

Private Contacts are not manage (but Agenda did it !)

When you use your BB privatly and professionaly, private datas must be excluded from professional synch.
Agenda is working fine, but Contact is not managed : field "Private" does not exist in the BB software !
This is a big missing to use it professionaly using universal standard like Outlook.
Please BB fix-it quickly !

I didn't get your query. Are you talking about private agendas to be shown in the calender but not engaging/bloacking the calender time? If so then in your calender item mark the item as private then it will not be seen by others.

Since I have updated to OSx Mavericks all my ics. invitations from other people are put in my agenda one hour later. Although my time-settings are correct. All worked perfectly unit Osx Mavericks.

Since I have updated my Mac to OSX Mavericks, all the invitations (.ics) are put in my Agenda one hour later then the requested time.
Before OSX Mavericks everything worked perfectly.
Invitations were automatically put in my agenda on the Mac on the right hour.
This agenda synced then trough Icloud with my Iphone and Ipad.
Now he puts al the invitations one hour later in my Agenda on the Mac.
I have checked all my time settings and they are correct.
I can not solve the problem.

Proxy Agenda via WebAccess not supported?

Am I right that proxy agenda's are not supported via webaccess?
I can't share my general company agenda in WebAccess like I'm able to do via the client.

Mail/Agenda problem

My mail/agenda in Mountain Lion goes crazy. If I accept an invitation for a meeting in Mail, the wrong appointment opens. Most of the time very old appointments from two years ago.....! The right appointment invitation never opens !
I also got calls from people who received all kind of weird invitations with "infinitive loops".....
Somebody with the same problems?
If so, any solutions?

I had the exact same problem. Meetings from two years ago opened instead of the one I was sent. It happend with ever meeting request. I found a fix that works for me - someone might be able to explain why this works and what went wrong.
Insteasd of double clicking on the meeting request attached to the email, I right click and select "Open with --> Calendar.app". That seems to work. When I checked finder it was configured to open the ".ics" attachments with CalendarFileHandler.app. I changed it to Calendar.app and it all works fine now.
To change the default app for ".ics" files you need to save the attchment to a temporary folder, right-click, "get info", then change "Open with" to Calendar.app, then click on "Change all".

My agenda is gone and I can't find it back

I always had my agenda at the right side of the thunderbird page but now I can't find it back, neither the 2 blocks where you could click to get your agenda.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Thunderbird keeps synchronizing Google Agenda all day and everytime it slows down.

Every hour of so Thunderbird synchronises Google Agenda, there are almost 1000 events, so it takes some time. Meanwhile Thunderbird get stuck. I have to wait for it to be ready before I can continue.
Why does this happens suddenly (since yesterday)? If it can't be fixed, I must remove the synchronisation with my Google Agenda.
