Ring tone doesn't work

I have a apple 4. After repair everything seems working apart from the ring tone who doesn't work, the vribreur seems working though. The control vocal is sometimes going wild and start calling all my contacts. What is the problem?

Check the below and follow the steps -
1.
In the contact list, highlight a contact.
2.
Press the Menu
key.
3.
Click Edit.
4.
In the Custom Ring Tones/Alerts section, perform one of the following actions:
To assign a ring tone to phone calls that you receive from
the contact, click Phone.
To assign a ring tone to messages that you receive from the
contact, click Messages.
5.
Set the ring tone information.
6.
Press the Menu
key.
7. Click Save.

I understand that all of your iPhone sounds are working as expected except for the Sent Mail sound. I understand that you have already changed the Sent Mail sound as well as reset your iPhone and the issue persists. In this situation, to isolate the issue, I would first recommend backing up your iPhone to either iTunes or iCloud.
Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
After you have backed up, I would recommend restoring your iPhone and setting it up as new to test the Sent Mail sound. If the sound works as expected, try restoring from your backup and test the sound again. Please let me know if the issue returns or if the sound still does not work when you set up your iPhone as a new device.

BT Synergy 5500 touch tone doesn't worK

I've just bought a pair of these and the touch tone doesn't work on either.
The last pair of cheap non-BT phones I had did have working touch tone so I'm thinking it must be phoen related but surely these 5500's must have working touch tone out of the box? Please help. Thanks.

Hi tallbaul, the 5500 should be set up as touch tone from the box, but it is simple to change if for some reason it isn't, just press and hold the * key to switch between tone and pulse (if you still got the user manual its covered on page 10).
If this doesn't work it might mean the phone is faulty and a replacement is required.

HT4528 I pulled my iPhone out of the docking station/speakers and now the ring tones don't work. Anyone know a fix for this?

Does anyone know if there is a fix for iPhone 4S when you pull it out of the docking station and now the ring tones don't work -- it only vibrates.

Basic troubleshooting of the device is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?
Do other sounds work?
Have you checked to see if the dock connector or headphone jack have debris in them?

After updating to ios5 my previously purchased ring tones don't work.

After updating to ios 5 my ring tones show only the default ones on my phone.
In Itunes it shows up, I have synced a number of times but the ring tone never shows up on the phone.

I couldn't get it to start at first. Then I found a forum that hade other issues with plugin and firefox 4 where the solution was to start firefox 4 in 32 bit mode and not in 64bit mode. After that it works nice for me.
It might also be useful to change the setting for the time that scripts are allowed to run.
dom.max_script_run_time should be set to higher number than 80 according to the support.

Ring Tones/Alerts stopped working

My ring tones & alerts have stopped working. I only get the vibration. When I go to "Sounds" and try to reset ring tones, I get the following error message: "Invalid ring tone selected, please make another selection!" That happens no matter what ring tone or alert I try.

Pull the battery and let the device restart. Try it again and see if it works better. Let us know.

Vibrate+Tone doesn't work correctly - 8830

When set to vibrate+tone, all the 8830 will do is vibrate. Even when going through the settings and configuring them, when vibrate+tone is highlighted, only vibrate works.
Is this a bug?

Hey! In BlackBerry if set vibrt+tone and set vibrt as 2 times then after 2 vibration device will start ring...from your writing I assume it is working fine.
The features that come with BlackBerry can't be changed so easily!! It's RIM who decide what and how for BlackBerry!!!

Phone won't ring speaker doesn't work

I just updated to ios7 and now my iphone verizon 4s and now my phone won't ring and the speaker won't work. Do not disturb is not on and it's not in silent mode????

Have you tried going into settings -> sounds and seeing if they were disabled there?

My start up tone doesn't work, trackpad and keyboard do not work consistently. I get a drop down menu when I try to click on something

Out of nowhere my keyboard locked, trackpad didn't work and start up chime stopped working. Then, I got drop down menus when I tried to click on something, and now my computer is working fine. In a while it will happen all over again. How can the keyboard work fine and then stop? Then be fine again. I am not technically inclined, so please help. I have a MacBook Air. Thanks

Go into your VersaMail account. Then go into the Menu, select Options > Preferences > Alerts (under the Delivery section). Make sure the Alerts box is checked.

Ringer Sound doesn't work for phone calls.

I can't get my iPhone 4S sound to work for receiving phone calls. Sound selected along with vibrate for phone calls. Miss calls everytime. Volume turned up and turned on.

Two things to check
Is the Mute switch ON ?
Do you have Do Not Disturb set ON ?

N96 VIDEO RING TONES

WHEN I SET A VIDEO RING TONE DOES NOT WORK RINGS THE NOKIA DEFAULT TONE HAVE 12.045 SOFT WEAR INSTALLED CAN YOU HELP

This is a known problem with the N96. I believe it was fixed in firmware V12 but cannot confirm since I don't have any video ringtones on mine (it's probably one of the most pointless features of a mobile phone IMO).

Seting custom email Event ring tones on a Treo 800w

I want to use custom ring tones for the New Email Event. The ring tones in My Documents/My Ringtones do not show up in the dropdown to select a ring tone. It works fine for the other Events. The file type for the ring files is MP3.

HT1349 how does one turn on the ring tone for the iPhone 4s

hy, i just purchased a new i phone and my ring tone will not work and neather will my message reminder. wheh i go into settings i press sounds but abovt the word vibrate is the word silent even though all my ring tone and message tones are set.

Check to see if you have flipped the ring/silent switch on the left side of the phone above the volume up button. (If it is red, your phone is on Silent.) The setting you see determines whether or not your phone will vibrate when this switch is set to Silent. If Vibrate is set to On below this it means that the phone will vibrate when the switch is flipped to the Silent (red) position.
