Ringtone and notification not loud on Blackberry Q10 OS 10.3.1.1565

i made upgrade to blackberry os 10 version 10.3.1.1565 and i am having problems with ringtone and notification tone they are not loud enough. on the previous os 10 version 10.2.1 the ring tone was quite loud i can hear the phone when is ringing. the problem appeared with the new os 10.3.1.1565

its affecting us all and there is no fix until they recognise a problem. just read the forum to see all the other problems since update.

Ringtones and notification volume

Hello ,
I've got a Xperia Z3 compact , i got a probleme with my ringtones and notifications volume.
It's ok when i play it in selection menu , but when it setted , i can't herad my phone when somebody call me or when i receive a sms or other notification.....
All volumes are setted on maximum level, and i try with all souds effect turned on/off.
Is there a solution for this issue?

they dont realize how soft their notification is.
playing with media is loud
but using as a notification tone is not. they need seperate volume tweaker like samsung or lg where u can only up notificaion volume to make it happen. apparently they dont watn to make one lol

BB Z10 BBM Group updates and notifications not showing up in Hub?

BBM Group updates and notifications not showing up in Hub? The notifications are turned ON in Group settings. And all BBM notifications are enable in the Hub, still nothing shows up. Picture comments, addition, status updates simply dont show up. My device is on 10.0.10.58.
Any workaround?

No ringtones and notifications through Bluetooth headset?

I have searched the app market high and low for an app that will direct ringtones and notification tones to the bluetooth headset. Not just some cheesy tone from the app itself, but the actual tone that the phone emits.
This seems to be a limitation of the X, no?

That's a strange one, I don't use a bluetooth headset any more so I never noticed this happened, since it worked on all my other devices I figure this would work for the headsets also. I remember when I had this issue with WM devices and I usually could resolve with a app, I would be surprise that there isn't a app on market for this.
Another thing to try is to go to Settings / Wireless and Networks / Bluetooth Settings and press and hold on headset label and select Options and see if there is any advance options that can resolve this..

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

How to transfer ringtones and notification tones from my Z3 to my wife´s Z3? I tried to set both Z3´s together but nothing happens except odd sound. Yes, Bluetooth were on too - not only NFC - yep both phones...

Hello,
I wish to transfer my iPhone m4r ringtones/notification tones/alarms to my new Xperia Z3 phone - so how to do this? I created those tones by Ringtonium app so those tones are not bought ones. Those files are on my Mac laptop. I tried to use Xperia Transfer Mobile to transfer those files but it didn´t accept. I could find them - even made a folder for those files but they just appered to be gray colored meaning that I can´t select them even I could see them :-(. If possible to transfer them somehow I would be very thankful - just wouldn´t like to make them once again as there are plenty of them....

There is a difference between the passcode and the sync key.<br />
The passcode allows to setup all sync parameters with a single code on other devices.<br />
To enter the sync key (and user name and password) you need to click on "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom of the "Add a Device" window (Click Connect).

Mac Calendar, Notes, and Tasks not syncing with Blackberry Bold

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro with out of the box with OS X Mountain Lion Installed. Downloaded and installed the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Software. Quickly realized that I am unable the sync the Mac Address Book with my BlackBerry Bold 9930 while the iCloud is enabled. Once disabled, the my Address Book syncs like it used to.
Calendars, however, are not syncing. I have tried several ways, including disableing the iCloud and creating New Calendars both "On My Mac" as well as "On iCloud" without success. The error is as follows:
"There are no writable calendars available for syncing on this computer."
I am confident that once the solution to the writable calendars is found it will automatically resolve the syncing of Tasks too. Please advise how I can solve this problem.
Secondly, I noticed that Mountain Lion comes equipped with an independent Notes App. Initially I thought this to be a really cool new feature of Mountain Lion when compared to my previous experiences with Snow Leopard. For simplicity, I initially deleted all my old notes from the BlackBerry and transfered the notes files which were backed up from my previous MacBook Pro to the BlackBerry. The tranfer occured without a hitch. A few days later, I realized that eventhough my notes were syncing without a hitch, my edits were not being saved. I.e. edits made on the Mac were not syncing forward to the BlackBerry and vice versa. So I lost some content. When trying to trouble shoot the problem I realized that the Desktop Software was programed to sync with "Apple Mail Notes" on the Mac, and not the Notes App. So bascially, the notes were syncing from the wrong source and everytime I synced them, the notes on the Blackberry were being replaced by the original notes that I had moved over from my Old Mac. How can I re-set/re-program the Desktop software to sync with the notes in the Notes app? Or, where can I access these "Apple Mail Notes" So that I can make edits and add/delete notes so that they sync accurately?

Doesn't look like there's a way to sync BlackBerry MemoPad memos with Apple Notes.
Apparently Apple's Notes app doesn't talk to Apple's Sync Services (older versions of Apple Mail do) - BlackBerry Desktop talks to the Apple apps using Sync Services. Sadly Notes still isn't playing nice, so BlackBerry can't sync notes.
p.s. Microsoft Outlook 2011 DOES talk to Sync Services, but it only syncs my memo headers, and no text. *curls into ball*

Start Button and notification not working

I have Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview installed on a HP Pavilion dv6.
I installed “Adobe Dreamweaver CS6” yesterday. I realised that I had the wrong version for the key I have and try to do a Windows System Restore.
The restore complete after the reboot. Now the Start menu does not open when I click on the start button and the “new notification”, next to the time, does also not respond when I click on it.
I did roll forward to the original system restore point with Adobe Dreamweaver CS6installed , but I am still seeing the same issues.
Please advice

Another solution which has worked for some users who have also had issue with the Start Menu and Notifications is to re-register AppX with PowerShell using the following command:

Ringtone and notification sounds change randomly

this was posted awhile ago on the thunderbolt site but was never answered, seems it was posted in the thunderbolt forum, the Rezound I have changes to factory verizon ringtone and a different notification sound on its own, is anyone else having this issue, and is there a fix out there? thanks

I have also thought it might be related to the speed class of the SD card. When the phone boots up it has to mount the SD card. If the mounting is slower than when the phone searches for the ringtones, the phone reverts to stock tones.
I was occasionally seeing this on my Tbolt with the class 4 micro SD card that came with the phone. I haven't seen the issue since switching to a class 10 card.

Linkedin and Twitter not syncing in Blackberry Hub.

I can't get Linkedin and Twitter to sync in the Hub. No updates appear.
I get do gmail and corporate emails, txts and BBM appearing in the Hub and Linkedin does send out emails with updates.
I have tried restarting the phone several times and pulling the battery. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. The last update from LinkedIn in my hub was 11th December. LinkedIn sends emails to my hotmail which I can access via the hub but the LinkedIn panel does not update so might as well not be switched on. I have removed and re added the account to no avail.

SCSM Workflows and Notifications not running.

I am facing a very strange Problem in an SCSM 2012R2 RU2 Environment. 2 Weeks after installing RU2 on Management Server, DWH Mgmt Server and all Consoles I have issues with Connectors and Workflows. I don't receive any notifications, Service Requests and
Changes keep stuck in State "New" and none of my connectors get triggered. In the first place I deleted HealthService Cache but without having the problem solved. Workflow Status Information in the GUI does not show anything, but with Get-SCSMWorkflowStatus
I see several failed Workflows. I was looking at my Run As Accounts on the Management Server and noticed that they have been changed to Local System - although I have configured Domain users. Trying to revert them to Domain Users does not have any effect.
The window closes without doing anything. Also tried to do it via PowerShell, but it tells me that a seald MP can't be changed. My DWH Mgmt Server works like a charm, no issues with DWJobs and correct Run as Accounts.

Can you tell us about these things?
1. Did you stop the Data Access service before you deleted the Health State folder and then restart it?
2. Did you restart your Primary Mgmt Server?
3. Did you resync all of your connectors successfully?
4. Is your mpsyncjob running often and successfully?

I purchased ringtones and did not put them in my ringtones

when I purchased ringtones the itune put the in a folder call purchsed located underneth the download and i do not know how to trasfer these ringtones to my ringtones library, when I hilight the purchase folder I see down I cone (burn to disk) please advise me how to trasfer these into my ringtones library. in addition i would like to know how to trasfer music files into ring tone becase I have ringtones in my music library

it is true my user id is usa and i am now in saudi arabia and I am using my old usa id but the question is whay these ringtones did not go to the library and kept them in the purchase folder and how can i trasfer them to the ringtones library.
