Ringtone changed since update. Can't get it back.

I bought a ringtone, and it's still titled as the song. However it's a standard ringtone since the update. I have chosen and unchosen the tone to listen to it, but it's still not my purchased ringtone. How do I get it back?

Wow do I feel like an idiot. Three years with this Mac and I never even noticed that button existed. Must have hit it by mistake last month. Thanks!

All you should have to do is to make sure Music is synced (Music tab in iTunes).
While yu are at it, if you have WiFi at home, check the Sync from Wifi box on the Summary iTunes page and then plug in your iPhone and sync.

I purchased a new iphone 5 yesterday and was able to load all of my files onto it, or at least I thought I had. This morning I realized some of my purchased ringtones and text tones were missing. Naturally, I figured they would be available for redownloading in the itunes store just like I've done hundreds of times before, but in the purchases area, it says all of my purchases have been downloaded. I don't think I should have to pay for these ringtones again. Is there something I'm missing? Is there someone I can complain to from iTunes? Please help.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what is supposed to happen. Tones are not part of the Cloud, it is your responsibility to back them up.
If you are lucky, they may get regranted or something, depending on age etc. Try iTS and see what happens.

Finder Window appearance changed and I can't get it back to normal

Okay this is just driving me nuts and despite all my efforts I can't fix it. About a month ago, my Finder window changed appearance. Instead of the normal view on the left hand side that shows Devices, Network, Places and Search For, it is showing none of that. Weird thing is, if I open Documents or Downloads or any other folder that opens the Finder, it appears normal. So my problem is only with the main finder icon in my dock, which happens to be the one I use the most. All the boxes are checked in preferences to show all the items but it just won't do it.

Hi, don't know if this even right forum but: when I first got my imac in summer 13 I loved the convex apppearance on the internet screen. I downloaded an update and it disappeared. Can I get it back? Does anyone know what I am talking about? I know that this is quite trivial, and it does not affect what I do, but I liked it.

Are they still listed on your device when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Numbers? If so, they should still be in iCloud but you may need to contact support to find out why the Numbers app isn't able to access them: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

I did a restore from backup but that did not change anything.
I can see my apps in iTunes - it is like the update got some apps but not all, no contacts.

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

That happened because you synce'd your phone to a new computer, the phone can only be synce'd with one library. You can get all your songs back if they were puchased in itunes. Go to purchased in itunes store and download is at the bottom of the page.

This was the scenario:
The first time I updated, it was only my music that was lost.
When I got my music back, I lost my apps.
When I got my apps back, my contacts, notes and photos were lost.
Now I got back everything except for my photos.
(Yes, I restored from backup several times since the first update.)
Do you think if I try restoring from back up, my photos that were taken from my ipod will be restored finally?

Thanks for the question. You may need to configure the outgoing mail server for the account. The following resource will outline how to navigate to these settings, however instead of adding a server, you’ll then want to update the settings with your correct username and password:

Try these basic troubleshooting steps first
1. Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage (try any webpage). If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you are unable to load a webpage,follow these troubleshooting steps.
          - Try to use an alternate Internet connection if available:
                    1. Try a different Wi-Fi connection
                    2. If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fiand turn off Wi-Fi.
                    3. If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
2. Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.

English (UK) & English (US) are 9th and 10th on the list
