Ringtone: How to create it

I'm trying to create a ringtone from a song I downloaded into iTunes. When I click on the bell OR when I click on the store/create ringtone menu, I am asked to sign in to the iTunes store. Then, when I do that, it tells me that I must sign in using the account I used to buy the song. I did. I have. It just keeps on asking me to do that and I can't ever get beyond that point. Very frustrating. Ideas? Help?

ONLY WORKS WITH SONGS NOT BOUGHT FROM iTUNES STORE. There is a way to unprotect a song but I don't think I am allowed to tell you how, Sorry.
Before you start go into any folder and click Tools>Folder Options, then click the View tab and scroll
down until you see a checkbox that says 'Hide Extensions for Known File Types' next to it, uncheck that box and click Apply. VERY IMPORTANT! Then continue. Once you have your ringtones you can undo this if it annoys you.
1. Choose a song
2. Listen to the song and choose a segment that you want your ringtone to be, you have to know the times, like 0:36-0:56, try to keep it less than 30 seconds
3. Right click the song in iTunes and click Get Info
4. Then Click the Options tab
5. Check the boxes next to Start Time and Stop Time
6. In the box next to Start Time, type the time you want the ringtone to start
7. In the box next to Stop Time, type the time you want the ringtone to stop
8. Clck OK
9. Right click the song in iTunes and click convert selection to AAC
10. A new song will appear and start playing, this is what your ringtone will be
11. Right click the new song and click copy
12. Go to your desktop and click paste
13. Right click the song on your desktop and click rename
14. There may be numbers before the name you can delete those if you want, but change the .m4a to .m4r ALSO VERY IMPORTANT!
15. It will say that some files may not be usable or something when you change to .m4r, just click yes you are sure
16. The icon should change to have the iTunes logo and say Ring under the logo
17. Make iTunes a small window and click the Ringtones section of your library
18. Drag the song from your desktop to the area where your ringtones will be, before you drop the ringtone in there a little plus sign should show up, just drop it in the folder
19. Then go to your iPhone, click the ringtones tab, and click Sync All Ringtones, then click the Sync or Apply button at the bottom of iTunes
20. Once it has synced go to your iPhone, then go to settings then sounds, choose ringtone and there should be a section at the top called custom and your ringtone should be in that section

Thanks for the response. I am VERY new at this. I did download ES File Explorer and opened it to these folders:
'aloqa'    'Android'    'DCIM'      'glogs'     'Lost.dir'        'media'      'slacker'     'VZNavigator'    'Yahoo'
and these two files:      'ATT00049'   (which is a picture from somewhere in my phone...nothing that I did) and
                                         'temp.apk'
I have opened everything and cannot locate my 'saved' audio file.
I saved my file again and noticed that it says "saved to phone memory".

Is there any simple tutorials anywhere explaining how to create a ringtone using an iTunes track or mp3 music file in GarageBand?
I'm in the UK and cannot purchase ringtones from iTunes as yet.

Here are some very simple instructions to create a ringtone in Garage Band. Drag your song(s) in from iTunes or from your CD which has been copied into iTunes. If it is an AAC protected file, Garage Band will disallow making a ringtone and it will tell you so.
• Cut the song to 30-40 seconds of the section you want.
• From the drop down menu, choose 'share' (not share with iPhone)
• Export to disk/desktop. Compress using AAC
•Change the file name from m4a to m4r
•Drag into iTunes

I'm working on a CR 2008 Add-in.
Usage of this add-in is: Let the user choose from a list of predefined datasets, and create a totally empty report with this dataset attached to is. So the user can create a report based on this dataset.
I have a dataset in memory, and want to create a new report in cr2008.
The new report is a blank report (with no connection information).
If I set the ReportDocument.SetDataSource(Dataset dataSet) property, I get the error:
The report has no tables.
So I must programmatically define the table definition in my blank report.

How to create a group calendar?

i am sorry but this is one more question on wiki-group-calendars.
*In short:*
I am not able to create a group calendar with the wiki frontend. the calendar that is created with a wiki is owned by the admin of the wiki. So it is always a personal calendar that cannot be shared in iCal.
LONG:
I want to create a group calendar that is viewed and edited through iCal.app and the web service. Apple´s "wiki deployment" guide says on page 57:
+"The web calendar allows you to easily schedule events for yourself or your group. ...+
+There are *two types of web calendars: personal and group*. You can send and receive event invitations through the personal calendar but not through the group calendar. Also, *while anyone in a group can create or edit events in a group calendar*, you can edit only events in your own personal calendar or event invitations you send to other people.+
+The web calendar uses iCal Server to store events and invitations. ..."+
But there is not mentioned how to create a group calendar. The calendar created with the wiki web-frontend belongs to the admin of that particular wiki. This is why the calendar data ist stored in folder named with the UUID of the wiki admin. Also the alias "http://server.fqdn:8008/principals/groups/mygroupname/" which i provided in iCal turns into ..._uids_UUID-of-the-wiki-admin and only the wiki-admin can access this calendar in iCal.app.
My research on this topic reveals that there were in issue that should be resolved in 10.6.4 (that is running on our Server). So, again, how to create a group calendar?

You said "you need to go to the wiki page and add the wiki's there...." What is the "wiki page" you mention? Is that some place I go to via the browser or the Server Admin tool?
I went to http://ical.mysite.com/ical/ and logged in as the Directory Administrator but didn't see anything resembling what you described.

How to create a variant to a maintenance view (trans: SM31)

Hi gurus.
I have created a maintenance view (called z_jest). By running it from SM31 there is a variant option. However, I am not able to create the variant which I want to filter a selection upon in this transaction.
I have even looked into transaction SE54 and created a variant for the maintenance table view there( called z_jestv). Then going back to transaction SM31 and view z_jest, i push 'Variant' radiobutton and type as variant: 'z_jestv', I only get the message: "Variant z_jestv for object z_jest does not exist".
Can anybody please advice on how to create and/or connect the variant to the maintenance view?

When I look into the procedure, there is a prerequisite: "The basis dialog for which the maintenance variant is created already exists."
I am a little bit unsertain if I miss this 'Basic dialog'. Can you please advice on how to check / create this 'basic dialog' before I go on to create the variant. (I need this 'basic dialog' as input in the procedure you sent.)
(Note: I have already created a 'maintenance dialog' for the view, but I have a feeling, that is something different...)

Go to se93.
Then create the new T.code.
Under that select parameter Transaction.
Then give the sm30 in the t.code in default values tab.
check the checkbox skip initial screen.
in classification tab.
click checkbox inherit gui attributes..
Now below..
In the default values..
select
viewname and give ur table name.
UPDATE= Xsave
view - table name ( Should be upper case
update X ( should be upper case).
