Ringtone shows up under iPhone in iTune but cannot be found in phone...help
I have created some ringtones via Audiko.net and subsequently sync them into Iphone. After sync, in iTunes, I can see the ringtones are there under Devices. However, the ringtones cannot be located anywhere in the phone.
What have I done wrongly? Please advise.
Well the various ways of unlocking phones has so many variables on what it may do to a phone. Hard to really say and also the TOS of this forum means we cannot really help too much. On top of that using a non approved way of making ringtones is also outside of the scope of this forum.
So you have a few strikes right now.
1. Unlocked phone.
2. Not using iTunes (or Garage Band) to make ringtones.
So really hard to help out more. If they show in iTunes under ringtones but when you go on phone to set a ringtone and don't see it...don't really know what to tell you. Could be the fact it is unlocked and that process hosed you. Or could be the non approved way the ringtone was made. Really just too many variables for technical support from this forum.

This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases -

4s syncing with itunes (apparently), but no music found on phone, help
Just bought a new Iphone 4s. This is my first iphone (but i have ipods). I also have a new computer which I downloaded Itunes onto. I have not trasferred the music from my old laptop onto the new laptop/new itunes so everything is fresh and empty. I have an audio book i uploaded onto itunes. Again, this is the only file on my itunes library at the moment. It uploaded without any issues as I can play the tracks off of my Itunes lilbrary on the computer without an issue.
Next step, I plug my iphone into the computer and itunes recognizes it without any noticeable issues. Since I have my setting to sync any checked songs/files, itunes appears to transfer the audiobook onto my iphone. This is further confirmed by the fact that on my computer's itunes, my iphone device is shown as having these songs in the "books" folder. Everything APPEARS to be going according to plan, however, when I attempt to play/find these tracks on my iphone, they are nowhere to be found. Its as if they never synced. I even downloaded an audiobook player app, and that doesnt identify any files it could play either. I dont understand, itunes shows the tracks on the iphone, but the iphone says otherwise.
So essentially, my iphone itself is not recognizing any songs/data that were transferred, but when linked to my computer itunes, the iphone device is shown as having this data in it. Any help would be very, very much appreciated. Thank you.Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore.

Songs showing on my iPhone in iTunes, but when I unplug phone, they are not on the phone?
I have been trying to clean up my songs by correcting song names, albums, etc. I got through one artist, a total of 32 songs. I wiped all songs from my phone. All the songs are listed correctly in iTunes. I then drag and drop all songs (I manually control the music, because iTunes is just too complicated) on to my iPhone. ALL THE SONGS show that they are on my iPhone, in the iTunes window. When I uplug my phone and open up the Music app, only 27 of the 32 songs are there. Also, it breaks the albums apart. There should be 4 albums, not 6. What the **** is going on???? I am so sick of how complicated these Apple products are to use. Not to mention this is my 4th iPhone 5 in a year and a half..... It should be pretty simple to drag and drop songs on to my phone. Android is looking better and better each day!!!!!!
Before you unplug the phone you have to sync it with iTunes.

I used to be able to sync my iphone with itunes, but now when I plug my iphone into my computer it no longer syncs or even shows the device icon. Could this be because I have an old iphone and it's not compatible with the latest version of itunes?

By the sound of it I have a similar problem and have also posted a question.
For me it is Iphone 4S and Ipad 2 - so two devices.
They are picked up under my computer but not Itunes/devices. I've also noticed that Itunes store doesnt open?
I don't have a solution either sadly.

I found a solution !!!
The problem is that the font SEGOE UI MAGER (one of the fonts) is not installed.
When you go on this link, you can download the missing font !

download this, open it and go on install !
Then you open your Itunes and your Text is there again. Maybe its a little bit to big but, its there !!!

My iphone4s does not turn on,when I connect to power ,it shows the message "connect to itunes" but when I connect to iTunes,my pc does not detect my phone,so iTunes does not detect my iPhone.
Are you running the most recent version of iTunes for Windows on your PC? You may be running an older version that is incompatible with the 4s.

I Pod is not showing up under devices in ITunes...it is connected to my MacBook Pro and it says connected ...but it is frozen...
I'm not a Mac user, but do one of the following:
> Restart your mac.
> uninstall & reinstall iTunes
> reset your iPod (if possible)
> make sure iTunes is up to date.
This is what I really know, I don't use a mac. If this doesn't help, then sorry.

ITune shows it has iPhone App Updates but wont Update
As of about 4 weeks ago I can no longer get updates on iTunes. iTunes will tell me that I have some, but when I go to get them, it says "No Updates At This Time. Check Again Later" but I can clearly see I have three waiting...so I have to download them all through my iPhone and then sync back to iTunes. Frustrating.
Any ideas?Ok...so I solved my own problem...I hope.
1. First I restored the software on my iPhone through iTunes, but that didnt work.
2. Then I went back to Apple and re-installed iTunes and it worked! -

Table of contents pages are all messed up
