Ringtones aren't transferring to 3G phone.

These are all purchased ringtones that worked perfectly on my 1st gen phone. Onle 3 of them will sync to the new phone.

    Restore the device from the backup created.
    If no backup exists, there is nothing to recover.

    Okay, that means with the latest iOS software, it requires the latest version of iTunes on the computer. Which computer OS platform are you using. Now you are saying that after downloading the latest version of iTunes that your iPhone is not being recognized by iTunes? Completely different thing, and the iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with that anyway. The iTunes on the iPhone is just for purchases.

  • Earbuds aren't working again with phone

    hello, once again my earbuds aren't working with my phone. this was happening last weekend. i tried various headphone with phone to no avail but they and the original iphone earbuds worked just fine with computer. monday i took to phone to apple store and they restored phone and buds worked fine. came home setup as new phone, put everything back on it and worked for a bit and once again not working. I'm wondering if they aren't working because of the latest software version (5.1.1) because they were working fine before then.
    Anyone having a problem? I can't afford a new phone at this time.

    if when you restore and it works that means it is software related when you then restore from a back up you just took all the soft ware that was on the phone and put it back. meaning what ever cause it not work is now back on your phone causeing it not to work agian. In situation like this its not 100% that you can use your back up because what ever cause the issuse may be on that back up

  • My iMessages aren't sending from my phone

    My IMessages aren't sending from my phone number and when I go to send and receive it won't let me select my phone number only my email. I've turned iMessage on and off. I've signed in and out of appleid. I've restarted my phone.  I've made sure that my phone number in my appleid settings were right and nothing had worked.     If you aren't receiving iMessages across all iOS devices
    Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on each iOS device and make sure that you signed in with your Apple ID. You must use the same Apple ID on each device.
    Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By iMessage At and make sure that you selected each phone number and email address you want to use with iMessage.
    If you linked a phone number to your Apple ID with iMessage and the phone number hasn't appeared, follow these steps.
    Sign out of your Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and Settings > FaceTime on all devices.

  • So annoyed with this new itunes, spent over 2 hrs to get one ringtone on iphone,why apple has to make it so complicated, on samsung just a push of button ringtone or music is on ur phone... i think its time to say good bye to ihpne... Not a user friendly.

    hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music'  then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

  • I am having difficulty finding ringtones I have downloaded from my computer to my I phone 5.  The individual files can be found by search on the library but there is no listing of them and have not transferred back to phone from I Tunes

    I cannot find ringtones in my library that I transferred from my desktop although I can find them in a search of the library.  I can't get them to transfer back to the phone from ITunes.

    All the ringtones show up in I Tunes under "tones" on the left side.  They also come up under the Ringtones Icon on my phone.  But they are not on the ring tones list when I go to edit a contact...just the default ringtones are listed

    That's my question.  I haven't had this problem before.  Brand new 4S running 5.0.1 and the newest iTunes.  The ratings changes remain on the phone but aren't being transferred.  This is a serious flaw as almost all of my smart playlists rely on star ratings.  Any help would be gratefully appreciated.  Thanks.

    This problem seems to have fixed itself.  Not sure what was wrong before.  I will continue to monitor.

    I followed the instructions on setting up ICloud on my device and PC, transfering from my photostream to my PC is not occurring. Any suggestions? Phone is locked, WIFI connected, and ICloud is logged on with my PC...no transfer is occurring..?

    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
    Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
    If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
    Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.
