Ringtones I downloaded I can't find

I received a text that the ringtones I bought were downloaded but I can't find them. I have downloaded games and was able to successfully retrieve them. I am not sure if I am looking in the wrong app or if I wiped then out Thanks for any help

I'm sorry for the difficulty you've run into with the ringtones. I want to thank the community for the great assistance. Has this been resolved for you? I would say the 'Music' or 'Play Music' app on the phone is where those files would appear after the downloaded, as budone advised. Please reply back so I and the community can assist more if necessary.

I did a factory reset on my old laptop and lost my Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. I have the serial number but need a download and can only find download for Pro version. Kimg68365882 did you purchase Acrobat 9 Standard from Adobe directly? If so and you choose to download the software instead of receive a CD then please see Find a download link on Adobe.com.
If you originally received the software on CD then please use a computer with an optical drive to copy the contents of the CD to a USB drive.

Tools > Downloads or {Ctrl + J} will open the Downloads window

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re concerned because you don’t see your rentals in iTunes, but they appear to have downloaded. Take a look at the article below and check the Rentals tab in iTunes on your MacBook.
About renting movies from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
Find movies you rented previously
Find your movie on the device you used to rent it.
On a Mac or PC: Go to the Rentals tab in the Movies section of the iTunes Library.
On an iOS device: Go to the Rental tab of the Videos app.
Using Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation): Look in the top shelf of the main menu.

Unlike apps, music and media purchased from iTunes can't be re-downloaded without paying again. If the song is already in your iTunes library on your computer, you'll have to wait to sync. However, if you just downloaded it and never synced to your computer, it's gone...
You can contact iTunes support and plead your case, telling them what happened. They might be merciful.

Download failed, can't find under purchased

I bought an app and was downloading it, when my iTunes froze up. I closed iTunes, opened it back up, and now I can't find the app under applications, downloads, or purchased.

Well, it sounds like your CC never got charged. You can confirm by looking at your purchase history....I assume you know how in itunes?
If it shows up in the purchase history, but won't download again for free, report it to iTS support.

How to download podcast can't find in the iTunes Store?

I understand that I can just use the instruction below to subscribe using the URL of those podcast that I can't find in the store, but once I sync it with my touch, I would like to use the "find more episode" options to get the new feeds. Of course it won't find it in iTunes. Anybody know a way to set up so that I don't have to connect the touch to the computer every time I try to get a new episode? Thanks!
Below is the instruction given to how to subscribe using URL in iTunes, but no in touch:
If while surfing the web, you ever come across a podcast that you can’t find in the iTunes Store, here’s an easy way to subscribe to it anyway. From the Advanced menu, choose “Subscribe to Podcast...” and enter the podcast feed URL. iTunes will subscribe you to the podcasts and begin downloading immediately.

Hhhmmm! That's an interesting question.
I have subscribed to Podcasts using *Advanced/Subscribe to Podcast* in the past, but since I can't remember which ones they were, I can't test this properly, but I understand what you mean. What happens when you do click *Get More Episodes,* presumably the Touch goes to the Store, but where exactly? Is it a page that has info about that Podcast or a general Podcasts page, or do you get a message?
I think what happens when you click *Get More Episodes* is that the Touch looks in the Store, not the Podcast feed and therefore doesn't find any new episodes because the Store doesn't list that Podcast. (The feed is where the episodes are located and downloaded from and it will not be an Apple server.) However, I could be wrong. iTunes might be looking, but doesn't find anything because there is nothing to find! Don't forget, every Podcast will have the *Get More Episodes* link on your Touch, but that doesn't mean there are any episodes to get.
So without a thorough test of this, I can't be certain whether the issue is that the Touch can't find the feed or "there are no new episodes to find".
Perhaps you need to send some feedback to Apple suggesting this as a new feature (enhancement request). Feedback for the Touch is http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipodtouch.html.
I'm not convinced that they will think this is necessary, because the idea is that the Podcasts are automatically downloaded into your iTunes Library because you have subscribed to the Podcast, so there would be no need to look for them directly from your Touch. Then, a periodic Sync of your Touch (which is a good idea anyway) would mean that it's not that likely that there would be any new episodes to get. But send feedback anyway, because it's not for me to decide.
In the short term, I think you're only option is to allow iTunes to find the new episodes and use the Sync feature to get them onto your Touch.

Hi I can not find my tv download on my Ipad, when i go to download it says it had already been downloaded.

Downloaded and synced films and tv shows should be in the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store). If they don't show in there then have you got a TV programme age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Download Manager can't find JRE

I use WinXP Home.
I wanted to download "Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8.1" using the Sun Download Manager. The web page gave the message: "We were unable to detect a recent version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your system. "
I did the following:
1) Verified that I actually had JRE jre1.5.0_10 on my system
2) Uninstalled the JRE.
3) Installed the latest (same!) version of the JRE from java.com, allowing the installer to put the files wherever it wanted.
After that, when I try to download "Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8.1", I get the same message: JRE not found.
Can anyone help?

The SDM is not compatible with Mozilla 5 based browsers, they can't find the "jnlp" Mime-type.
I just download the zip file directly form the link HREF'ed to the file name on the page with the "Download Selected" button.
Or you could just download with Internet Explorer... :-0)

Downloaded, but can't find Lion in purchases

I purchased Lion in November from the App Store and installed it on my iMac. I now want to install it on another iMac, but it does not appear in my purchases list. I am signing in with the same Apple ID I purchased it with. Any idea how can I find it or download it again? Thanks.

Audiobooks will download to the Music app on an iPad - when you have audiobooks on the iPad you should get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer) so that you can take a backup of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your computer's iTunes library

I have an older IPOD that I'm having trouble getting new purchases on to my IPOD. I use to have a source list on the left hand side of screen where I dragged my purchases to and they downloaded. Can't find place to check manual vs. auto sync.

I have an older IPOD classic that I'm having trouble getting new purchases from library to IPOD. I use to have a IPOD icon in the source list on the left side of the screen. Now that is all gone. My purchases are coming up as recently purchased but can't figure out how to get them transferred to IPOD. I also can't find how to confirm setting is for manual not auto sync as the first computer I had blew up and am now using a different one. I haven't had any of these problems prior to the updates.

As an avid flight simmer I bought a new soundcard my previous was
an audigy 2 platinum ex with an external module I really liked but somehow all of a sudden I was getting a screech when using FS9 sor I opted to change to the present. Well stone the crows my soundcard was auto updated with new drivers and well you guessed it the soundcard did not show in the sound video controllers window No I have just joined this forum and it looks like3 you may have the answer for me . I am now going to do as you suggest and see what happens.
I shall return with the outcome of my dilemma.

Itunes says my purchase was downloaded but can't find it anywhere

I purchased a song yesterday and according to itunes it successfully downloaded. Itunes credited me and I tried again. Same problem. I searched my computer and the song was not found. I reported it to itunes. I also have had problems with my laptop freezing during upload of a CD and during download. I am using the most recent version of itunes and that is when it all started. Thanks for your help.

They let me do it once and I had the same problem. I tried uploading a Beatles CD and after a few songs it froze. It seems like the download doesn't complete but they say it has. If so why can't I find it anywhere on my computer?
