RM06EV47 Vs RM06EV70

Hi,
In our SAP system, in transaction AOBJ, archiving object MM_EKKO has Write program as RM06EW70 and Delete program as RM06ED70. But Preprocessing program maintained is still old RM06EV47 in the transaction AOBJ. My question is - should i change this program to RM06EV70 in transaction AOBJ. If yes, then how? I mean should i simply change the program name in AOBJ in Development system and transport to Production? Or are there any more settings to be done?

Delivery completed indicator for STO cannot be set!

Dear colleagues,
There are number of STO’s those goods issue quantity > quantity of goods received. Because of this delivery completed indicator cannot be set due to message “06 848 - Delivery completed indicator cannot be set for item XXXXX”.
There is an OSS note (167795) that allows to set delivery completed indicator for such purchase orders. Even though our SAP release is 6.04, report RM06EV70 does not exist (yet BADI ME_ARCHIVE_ACTIVE is active) in the system and OSS note cannot be implemented.
Any help would be appreciated.

PS. Please do not provide answers like “the goods receipt must be first posted via the entire goods issue quantity; then you can post a scrapping via the shortfall quantity” since there are backdated STO’s.

Hi,
Find STO created for which plant in t.code:ME23N and check MRP parameter maintained for that plant in t.code:OPPQ( also check entry of that plant in t.code: OMCD).
Also cross check which Field Selection Key assigned to your STO PO document type and check “Delivery completed" indicator” available as Optional entry in GR/IR control segment in your Field Selection Key.

PO archiving

My settings in config are Residence time 1 is 730 and residence time 2 is 365
This means if there is no change in PO for 730 days then deletion indicator will be set.
Then after 365 days , the PO will be deleted from the data base.
1. I guess for residence time 2 period, we will not be able to do any changes in PO, is this correct?
If yes, then why residence time2 is there?
2. I manually deleted a PO line item. In next archival run (runs every month) this PO is marked as eligible for archival.Means I am not able to do any changes in this PO.
Where I can find the settings for this?
Please advice.

a deletion indicator set manually or via the preproc program in archiving does not restrict the user from doing any changes.

MM_EKKO Archiving - PO deactivated

Hello all,
In R/3 4.6C i made a test run for MM_EKKO archiving object, the spool result differenciate between PO archived and deactivated. Could you please explain me the difference?
One more question, the test run shouldn't se the indicator for deletion, is it correct? it seems that in my test run the system modified all PO insered into archiving selection.

You have different residence times. SAP set the deletion flag if residence time one is met, but residence time 2 not yet.
If both times are met, the PO gets archived.
for examples see OSS note 948493 - Residence time in new reports RM06EV47, RM06BV47
You probably have customized the test variant for MM_EKKO as production variant, other wise SAP would not have updated your database.

Scheduling Agreement flagged for deletion

Hi
Once a scheduling agreement has been archived it is no longer visible from transaction ME33L, but can be viewed with Read program RM06ER30.
When a scheduling agreement was flagged for deletion with the Pre-Processing program RM06EV47 it has not been archived yet, although a message stipulates that it has. ME33L is possible, but ME32L is not allowed.
The particular scheduling agreement in question was flagged because it complied to the residence time configurations BUT business now want s it back (even though the lack of maintenance on their side caused the document to be flagged for deletion)
How do we 'unflag' a scheduling agreement and take it back to its original state where it can be changed again?

I am waiting for authorization on MEMASSPO.
In the interim, I noticed that field LOEKZ contains the value L.
I further notice that MEMASSPO is mass maintenance for Purchase Orders. Will I be able to only select one scheduling agreement to unflag?
And lastly I noticed on our Dev environment that there are no variants created in the system. Where will I do this from?

How to close Purchase Order and mark to deletion flag.??

We need to close all Open POs(For archiving, some old data) through a report.
Considering .....
                   1. PO-GR-IR
and              2. STO-Outboundelivery-PGI-IBD-PGR
Checked few threads, though useful but still more information required.
-> Preprocessing program for archiving standard object MM_EKKO 'RM06EV47' is helpful.
-> Example we have four POs p1,p2,p3 and p4.
P1,p2 has deletion flag as 'L' so will be filtered out with
SELECT ebeln    FROM ekko INTO TABLE lt_sekko
    WHERE ebeln IN er_ebeln
      AND ekorg IN er_ekorg
      AND bstyp IN er_bstyp

Hi Thanks for the reply. I checked with that bapi too. I used some part of standard code and then manipulated. Will shorty paste the code on to SDN as its general one and may be used by others.It still under testing.

Archiving PO older MM_EKKO (purchase order)

I need archiving PO older (more than 10 years old), but this PO when execute preprocessing program RM06EV47 and most of them can not be marked for deletion, for many reasons. Eg. e06(115) "Quantity delivered differs from qty. invoiced (Function not possible)" and other messages
I already tested with
Program: RWPOB001 (Transaction WPO1)
BADI: ARC_MM_EKKO_CHECK
But I can not mark it for deletion (prerequisite for archivign PO).
Is there a standard way to close that inconistentes Purchase order ?
I want to avoid
UPDATE EKKO-LOEKZ = 'L'.

If your PO shows E06(115), use transaction MASS, BUS2012 to flag both: EKPO-ELIKZ ("Delivery Completed" Indicator) and EKPO-EREKZ (Final invoice indicator). This should let the PO pass - I was in the same situation and finally managed to get rid of 98% of inconsistent PO's.
In addition: search in OSS for notes on the subject, especially with keyword RM06EV47 - there are a couple of notes explaining what to do to pass the prepare-run.

Archiving MM_EKKO

We have started archiving mm_ekko obbject . Situation which i am facing is that when i ran write job to archive few month of data i was able to archive majority of that data but for some purchase document i get this message "Change date of purchasing doc. item within retention period".
I have checked the config for all the doc type and we have specified residence time 1 and 2.
Also when i check these document in ME23N i get a message displayed that "Document is archived" but i don't see any archive file created for these document which i can delete and store in the archive server. Now when the user pull up the information for these document it still coming from SAP DB .
Can some please provide the config information which i need to change for such document . The delivery date which is mention on these document are in the range of date for which i am archiving.

Thats really weird.
What is the release you are using??
In Standard SAP, You have different residence times.
SAP set the deletion flag if residence time one is met, but residence time 2 not yet.
If both times are met, the PO gets archived.
for examples see OSS note 948493 - Residence time in new reports RM06EV47, RM06BV47 .
And if you are using 4.6c Version, then OSS note 588463 .
A document item gets deactivated (deletion indicator) if you have more than one items in a document, but not all fulfill the archiving criteria, then the once that fulfill the criteria get deactivated, the other remain untouched. But the document gets only archived if all items are deactivated.
Please check and let us know.

How to manually delete Po at header level ?

Hi,
I can delete PO line items in my ECC60 system
However, i would like to delete PO at header level.
In EKKO , i can see the deletion flag in LOEKZ field.
BUT in ME22N, i cannot find any button to delete PO at header level...
Could somebody clarify the PO deletion at header level and the LOEKZ deletion flag in EKKO ?

To my knowledge you cannot directly delete PO from the system. You need to follow the archiving steps...
1. Program: RM06EV47 - For setting Deletion Indicator
2. Program: RM06EW47 - For archiving the document.
3. Program: RM06ED47 - For Deletion from the system.

Purchase Order deleted by mistake

Hi all,
We have a purchase order that was deleted by accident. We we wanted to remove one of the line items and it set the whole purchse order for deletion. Is there a way to undelete a purchase order? Thanks all for your help and let me know if I need to clarify anything.

I am not sure how it initially happened. I was able to recreate it in our test client. I created a purchase order and deleted the line item. I then ran program RM06EV47 to set the deletion flag for the PO. We are trying to reverse it. SAP Support recommended writing a program to reverse this, but we were looking for way to do it with out making a new program.

Archive PO associated with Maintenance Order

We have maintenance orders back to 2004 that have never been closed or had the delete flag set. We would like to get these cleaned up. Many of them have purchase orders attached to them.
I ran MEMASSPO to set the final invoice indicator on the purchase orders that were hanging out there but when I tried to then close the orders and set the deletion flag I couldn't. I would get an error that the PO still existed. With production orders I would run RM06EV47 to set the delete flag on the PO then I would be able to close the production order. This doesn't seem to be the case with maintenance orders.
When I run RM06EV47 on the purchase orders that are associated with maintenance orders I get the message "Archive Run only flags Production Order POs. See BADI."
I haven't been able to find anything regarding how to set the delete flag on these POs. Can someone tell me what the process is?

There is no relation between archiving PM Order & PO existence.
When you make TECO & Business Completion of those orders, corresponding PR will get deletion flag.
You can run SARA for Purchase Order as well as Maintenance Order archival which will set Deletion flag as well as archive those documents.

Deletion flag

In the purchase order system is allowing for assigning a deletion flag for line item even having subsequent transactions like GR and IV.
I don't want to allow for deletion flag for above said scenario.
plz suggest.

there is certainly no standard customizing for this.
I understand that you are not archiving right now, but maybe in 5 years. Consider this. When developing the userexit, condition the program, so that manual maintenance will be restricted but setting of deletion indicator thru RM06EV47 not.

Table EKKO-LOEKZ Delete Indicator can't be changed once set

Hi Gurus:
We ran Archive Object MM_EKKO Preprocessing Program RM06EV70. This set the deletion indicator EKKO-LOEKZ to an 'L' on 2008 Purchase Orders. It was discovered that around 100 really can't be archived.   On this Forum we were told that SAP Tcode MEMASSPO can change LOEKZ back to blank. Our SCM Team tried that but we get error messages that the PO can't be changed and that Purchasing document 6200000617 already archived.
Does anyone know what we are doing wrong or another way to set LOEKZ back to blank?

I use Tcode MEMASSPO.
I select fields on Purchase Order Header. I select the deletion indicator MASSEKKO-LOEKZ on the list.
I enter a PO Number with an 'L' in the LOEKZ field from the preprocessor.
I change the new value field to blank on the PO Header. I hit the mass change button.   The 'L' is changed to a blank.
I hit the save icon.   I get all of the following errors.
6200000617 : Instance 6200000617 of object type PurchaseOrder could not be changed
6200000617 : Instance 6200000617 of object type PurchaseOrder could not be changed
6200000617 : Purchasing document 6200000617 already archived.
If we do this for a PO that was not set to a 'L' by the preproessor program. We can change it to using MEMASSPO to 'L' (SAP Changes it to 'C' and we can blank it out again.
I don't think there is anyway to get MEMASSPO to change the PO. Any ideas?
