RMA Number - UNABLE to get CRAZY HP support to send me a FEDEX Label

Hey HP people,
I have a NON_FUNCTIONING Envy. They sent out a repair guy to swap the hard drive. IT DID NOT WORK.
They sent me a BOX to send back the computer to HP for repair / replacement as it is under the warranty.
HOWEVER, they did NOT
* Include an RMA number'
* Include an ADDRESS or LABEL to ship it back to HP.
I am on CALL #8 (EIGHT as in EIGHT CALLS to HP), and the complete knuckleheads in India do NOT seem
able to send me a simple mailing lable / RMA
* By email
* By Fedex
* By Snailmail
* By carrier pigeon.
So I have a BROKEN HP computer UNDER WARRANTY and I am more than 10 days out... with ZERO ability
for HP to help me...
I am soooo frustrated. My next step is going to be to SMASH the HP and film it for YOUTUBE and send
it to Meg Whitman with a burnt copy of my USELESS HP support card.
HELP!!!!

Is anyone else unable to get a new support case to post?

Yesterday and again today I have attempted to post a support case. On my Win 7 Pro 64 computer, I have used both the current versions of Chrome and IE but when posting the case get a "Unable to Complete Your Request" message. Is anyone else getting this? Any know work around?

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove the Phone app from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the Phone app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the Phone app
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

IPhone 4s in Recovery Mode, Unable to get serial number or update OS due to Firmware.

Rrally stuck here, this is my old iPhone 4s that i had sold to a family friend, it has been working fine when i had it but since handing it over it seemed to keep resetting itself, it was on 7.1.1. They gave the phone back to me to do a restore from my back up on my mac, this i did and no problems but the new 7.1.2 was attempted to be installed.
I got the error (29) message at about 60% when installing but now its stuck in recovery mode. I am unable to get the serial number, they have the box and i can't get it off the recovery mode. Obviously the serial number is to chat to apple to try and resolve it, but if you have any suggestions I'm open.

If you bought the boxed set of Logic Studio 2.0 which includes LP9, then you cannot download it. You must use the disks that came as part of the boxed set... to install from.
If you bought the App Store version of Logic Pro 9 then go to the Mac App Store App, Sign into the Store using the same Apple ID you used to purchase LP originally, look under the Purchase Tab and you shouldl find LP9 ready and waiting for you to download and install.

My company ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 16GB on my behalf on 9/25. I am unable to get an order # from them so I can't track it. Is it possible to get an estimated shipping date? I see that today for orders being made it's 11/13, but hopefully since it was ordered last week it could come a little sooner? I know it's wishful thinking, but do business customers ever get their orders expedited?

What do you need the serial number for to unlock the iPad? If the iPad is locked because you forgot the Passcode, you have to restore the device.
What are you trying to unlock?
Your serial number is written on the back of the iPad and on the box that the iPad came in.

You cannot download programs from anywhere but the official App Store.
Flash is not available but Adobe does have a version of Adobe reader in the App Store-it is for reading PDFs.

Unable to get parameter by using a controller in OAF

Hi!
I'm new using OAF and will appreciate your help a lot!!
FYI:
Basically I have to add 2 descriptive flexfields in a page (by creating a VO) and I have to update the table with the information registered on those dff (I've done all the logic already).
I created a Controller (CO) which calls a method declared in an Application module (AM) that executes a store procedure (the CO and AM have been created by me and they extend a standard CO and AM).
Problem:
However, just before updating.. I'm having a problem because I'm unable to get a parameter by using paramContext.getParameter("reqHeaderId"); that will help me to identify which row I need to update.
Since the instruction is not capturing the value, it returns null and I got the following error when I try to convert it to Number: oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: null
It's really important to mention that before getting to the page where I click the submit button that does the logic mentioned.. there are 2 pages before the one where I'm trying to capture the parameter and the parameter needed is set on the 1st page. I've been checking each standard CO of the 3 pages and they use the instruction pageContext.putParameter("reqHeaderId"); to pass it between the 3 pages (As far as I know, if not please correct me). On the 3rd and last standard CO it uses pageContext.getParameter("reqHeaderId"); to get the value and do some other logic.
So why Im not getting the value if I do the same thing (pageContext.getParameter("reqHeaderId");) on my xxController (which extends the standard CO)?

You need to verify that the parameter is being added to the pageContext from the first page to the last. You can do this by downloading the pages and all the class files to your development environment and put them into the myClasses directory. Then once you get it so it can be run in JDeveloper, you can actually invoke the debugger and do a watch on the page context for that parameter. It is important to note that you may need to download more than just those specific pages depending upon the setups of the supporting pages. I generally find it easier to just download everything for a particular application to my classes directory so I am not forever trying to find missing class files. Even then if they call some utility classes, you will need to download them to the JDevelper on your PC into the classes directory. But once you are able to run the pages in JDeveloper you will be able to do a lot more with the debugger.

One of our DPs has stopped loading content.
I've research for quite a bit and cannot find a clear cut reason to this. This server only has a DP role, I verified sharing permissions, all looked good. This DP has been running just fine for the last year or so and all sudden it will no longer load
packages. The disk drive is still present I can still reach the hidden share \\servername.com\E$
Verified that the SMSSIG$ folder is there and the last entry is from 4/23/2015
SCCM 2012 R2
OS 2008 R2 Standard

Error 64 is being returned which is simply "the network name is no longer available".
There can be a number of reasons for this from SMB compatibility issues (2003 servers wont support SMB2), to the expected and actual computer name of the boxes don't match (tries to authenticate with server.tld.com when the actual name is srv-01.tld.com and
you just put a C-name in). I'd start from the top: Try opening said share from the Primary Site server as that's the box doing the work. Verify the IP and computer name is legit and that no one has played ACL games between the two systems (remember
RPC only initiates/listens on port 135 but established connections are up in the dynamic port range).
At the end of the day it's an issues "underneath" SCCM, and not an SCCM problem specifically.

Serial number problem - no replies from customer support. What to do?

I'm having a problem for the serial number validation. After the successful Acrobat Pro XI installation, I have entered the licence and the message "we are unable to validate this serial number……" is displayed. Since I would like to contact the customer support, but the chat is never available, has anybody solved this problem before?

Are you entering the serial number or a number used to get the serial number. I think that Adobe may be changing the way that the serial numbers are distributed and it may be that you have a chit (as you might call it) to retrieve the S/N. Check the information sent carefully. If you are installing an upgrade, then it may be looking for the S/N of the previous version, not the new one.

I am unable to get quicktime to work in IE10

I am unable to get quicktime to work in IE10 each time it just redirects me to the quicktime download, I've uninstalled and reinstalled quicktime, I've done a reset on IE, tried unchecking ActiveX filtering...Any other ideas?

I'm working my way through Dreamweaver CC Classroom in a Book. The template in the exercise I'm trying to complete has sections that you can edit and those that you cannot. The links involved are to buttons in the non-editable sections. Since they're non-editable, you can't employ Property Inspector to alter content in those sections. I surmise that the through the Assets Panel approach is supposed to give you the capacity to add hyperlinks to those sections. Double clicking the template does not give you access to those non-editable sections. I've tried that along with a number of other circumventing the Assets Panel approaches. I've dug up a verson of the template from an earlier exercise that doesn't have any non-editable sections and the Property Inspector works fine. With some fumbling aboutI 'm sure I could go right to the code as well.
Ultimately, I don't think I'll have any difficulty with my project working around the Assets Panel. The deal is... it's supposed to work... and it doesn't. And being blown off by support really ticks me off. I'm sure yoou understand.
Thanks for your time and effort on my behaf. Being a really stubborn son of a *****... I'll probably keep after this until I get an answer... whether I ever need to use the Assets Panel or not.
