RMA Process - What Proce

I feel I must notify other potential customers of the extremely poor service offered by Creative Labs in Ireland concerning their RMA process. I have been waiting now for three weeks for Creative to accept that they have received my faulty Zen Vision:M. I have provided a proof of deli'very receipt along with the name of the person who signed for the item. Since the item was deli'vered, the insurance I took out on the product does not cover this loss as they have proved it was deli'vered. Creative Labs tell me they have not received the unit, and I am now left without my player for one month. I am advised to wait as they have just outsourced the RMA department and are having some problems!
What an excuse !
If anybody from Creative Labs actually looks at these forums, please sort out the problem with RMA's in Dublin. (and find my missing Zen)

Dear mclevogue?I know exactly what you mean. I sent my faulty Creative Soundworks 500DAB radio under warranty to Customer Support (what a joke!)?in Ireland as requested on 5 May. They sent me an email to say they hadn't received it yet on 27 May (3 weeks later!) The Post Office assured me it had been deli'vered. On 6 May Creative then said they had reci'ved the item - a month after me posting it! and were testing it. Next I hear is a new email on 27 June to say that since they have not received my radio they are cancelling the RMA and repair
!!! I sent a strong email back immediately to their the emailer of 6 June and 27 June demanding that they sort out the problem straight away. No reply to date. I then contacted the Adminstrator on this forum?asking her to sort it out. Still no reply. We should contact Watchdog or the press to tell them about thi sappaling service and Creative in effect stealing our goods. I am really pi**ed off.

    The first guy I spoke with trying to find out the status on my RMA did have a firm grasp on the english language - so I trust when he said, and I quote, "The testing department found nothing wrong with your board, so we're sending it back (to you)."
    The second gentleman I spoke with a week later trying to find out where my board was didn't have english quite mastered fluently, but was able to give me the information I needed.
    Generally though - what I usually understand (doing RMA's for a company myself) is that if someone RMA's something, you generally ship out a REPLACEMENT anyway, so this may be the case.  I sure hope so.
    This has been quite a puzzling experience from day one anyway.

    I want to set up a return material authorization (RMA) process for one my client.
    Is it possible to configure the entire RMA Process in SAP ECC for warranty management???
    The scenario as per my requirement is:
    Customer sending defective component/part to OEM, which is under warranty is same as sent to the supplier by OEM itself.
    Is there any standard process/configuration available for this???
    Note::: We don’t use CRM, PM & EWM.

    Try turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall
    Disable anti virus software if you have that installed before downloading media from the App Store.

    I am experiencing an error when trying to repack an SFC that was returned on an RMA.
    The current process that is being used:
    Return SFC to production floor
    Using a special operation the SFC is placed back on a routing. (RMA ROUTER)
    The SFC will follow this router to be reprogrammed and tested again.
    When the SFC reaches packout the system will error because the SFC was never unpacked from the orignial container.
    Is there a way to unpack an sfc and have placed inqueue on the RMA ROUTER?

    Generally for RMA process it is advicible to use the autogenerated RMA number and new SFC numbers as if we use the same SFC number it gives error in packing stage.
    We have faced this issue for RMA handling for quet long later the we came to 2 solutions:
    If the client agrees use separate SFC numbers for these RMA.
    else
    We the UNPACK operation should be part of Router 1st or 2nd step on router. This will include opening the old container and removing the SFC from it. if in container maintainance Min and maximun quantity is defined as same then the contaibner will remain open but if you want to close the container again then define Min Quantity as 1.

    File -  ECC - RFC (Sync) - Currently File / But This can be Other System also.
    I have Done this By BPM .
    File  - Receiver Step - Sender Step (Sync) - Sender Step - File .
    and this is running fine for single record.
    But Now Problem is RFC is with 1..1 Occurence .. So it cannot take more then 1 record ... so on Receiver I am getting only response record in Response File.
    What Changes is Reqd in Integration Process to process Multiple record by  RFC of 1..1 Occurence type.
    or what is the approach ..................for ID and Inetegration Process in ESR.
    I know we can go with Other Approach Like Proxy and Module Proccer .. But I am following Strictly BPM approach ...
    Because We have Similar More Scenarios ..even More Complex ..

    you want a solution with current scenario, you can try this-
    Go to messages tab and change the occurance to 0..unbounded for RFC in file-RFC mapping. Now you have 1:n mapping.
    The RFC root tag has to be mapped with record set of your file structure.Now the n RFC calls will be generated on executing this mapping.
    In your BPM part make the following changes-
    Add one more send step after the receive step and call the 1:n mapping transformation.
    The sync send step should be placed in a 'ForEach' block.
    So for each record in file a sync RFC call will be executed and the file is appended with respose code everytime.

  • WLC 5508 HA RMA Process

    Hi all,
    I am currently in a situation where our primary 5508 failed, our secondary 5508 took over, and we RMA'd the primary. Now that I have received the primary RMA device, I am stuck with what to do with it. I know that I need to transfer the licensing and have found documentation on that but what does the rest of the process look like? Do I just plug it back in using the redundancy port and away we go? I assume there are additional steps but I am having trouble finding documentation on it. Please help! Thanks in advance,

    Thanks Scott. After a few mishaps I figured that this basic config involves:
    - Recover-config and reboot
    - Enter the correct management address, subnet, VLAN tag, LAG parameters as the former primary unit and the rest can be garbage? -> reboot
    - Login and enter:
          config interface address redundancy-management IP1 peer-redundancy-management IP2
     config redundancy unit primary
          config redundancy mode sso         (doesn't seem to be sso AP option in this version - 7.6.130)
    - Reboot and either power off or wait for boot then power off
    - Connect up heartbeat and management cables and power on
    - Wait for sync...
    however I experienced an issue where it got to "Found the Peer. Starting Role Determination..." and then would get no further after waiting 15minutes.
    Should this be a fairly quick step? I then rolled back and put my old primary in the same way and ended up waiting about 30mins and finally it worked. I realised after the fact that when I put the new primary in I hadn't set the LAG correctly and I also did not give it the exact same management address so that might have caused trouble earlier, but I can't explain why the old primary took so long either.

    Just wondering, if anyone knows. From what I have seen in some posts referring to the process, it looks like it could be awhile.

    Go to http://www.msicomputer.com. Click on "Contact US" and down the right side is a box that says "Customer Service - RMA's Only" with the link and the directions. You then d/l a form, fill it out and then either email of fax it back with your details. They then will issue you an RMA# which you use to send the product back. Mine took about 2 weeks to get back.

    They say "What is that?"
    I say "Where I put a deposit on a credit card and you cross ship a board"

    They say "10-14 days"
    I say "2 weeks eh"
    They say "10-14 business days...."
    1.  Does anyone know how to get a cross shipment or expedite the process?
    2.  Anyone know what the current board rev is for the 7025 (Neo 2 Platinum)?
    The problems that I have are:
    1.  Logitech MX1000 keeps freezing
    2.  Won't detect Sidewinder joystick when a USB keyboard is plugged in
    3.  Can't use a PS2 mouse or keyboard
    4.  Floppy disk controller doesn't appear to work
    Think it should be rma'd?

    As far as getting them to cross-ship a replacement, I didn't have any problems when I sent mine in.  Called them, said I needed to RMA my board and wanted to have the replacement crosshipped, they said sure thing.  They didn't even charge my card, just put a reserve on it.  The only thing that annoyed me was that they weren't set up to take a cross-ship RMA through their online tool, so I actually had to call them to get it taken care of.  Sounds like either I just got lucky getting someone on the phone when I called mine in, or that you just got unlucky.
    Haven't had a bit of trouble with the replacement board.
    Oh, and as far as the board Rev goes, it is at Rev 1.

  • How can I navigate to a new page when after-submit process running proc

    I have a long running procedure and would like to provide the users with an animated gif to indicate progress that updates a description line to indicate the current step in the process.
    Currently I have a couple pages in this application in which a stored procedure in a package is called which performs a long-running process which updates progress in a table. These processes have a single parameter argument. In these cases I call the procedure via the Job Scheduler as part of my After-Submit process and the page navigation jumps to another page which shows a graphical representation of % complete based on the progress updates in the table and refreshes itself every 5 seconds until the job is complete. This works fine.
    I am now running into an issue where I have a more complex set of processes, with a number of parameters. To resolve this I used the same process as above, however, I first check to see if the process exists in the Job Scheduler, if not I create it. I then set all of the parameters and tell the job scheduler to execute the procedure. This should work similar to the process I am running on the other pages, however, in this page where I have multiple parameters and send an execute command rather than an execute immediate on job creation, the system runs the entire job prior to running the page branch, as a result the end user is stuck on a hanging page with no user feedback for two minutes after pressing submit.
    I am looking for how to call the procedure and have the branch execute so a progress screen can be viewed. I am not committed to the use of the job scheduler if there is a better way.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The process involves
    (1) a detail table filled with phone usage data, approximately 175,000 records per month.
    (2) a table that stores what various combinations of codes in the detail table translate to for types of calls or data transmissions
    (3) a summary table for the months calls and billing
    (4) the E-Business Suite.
    (5) A GTT for temporary crossreference storage
    (6) A GTT for reporting data
    I have a parameter page where the user selects what data they are looking for and then submits it to generate the report.
    The generation of data is a four step process.
    (A) Retrieve the Code Combination ID's for the phone usage specified in the parameters from the summary billing table(1) into a GTT(5)
    (B) Query the department and Account Code Block Details from E-Business Suite(3) (using dblink) for the CCID's in step one and add to the GTT(5)
    (C) Run a query which uses the detail table(1), a function against the crossref table(2), and the crossreference GTT(5) to create the output in the report GTT(6)
    (D) An ApEx page process that counts the output and returns to a page without Export to Excel for over 65000 records or with Export for under.
    The parameter page is an ApEx page with some text fields, a couple date fields, and some checkboxes. An after submit process calls a packaged procedure which calls separate procedures for (A), (B), and (C), the page then branches to a page that shows an animated gif and current step of the process {this is what is not working right now}. Once the task completes this page branches as per (D) to a page that shows all the contents of the GTT report(6).
    The process works successfully with the exception that instead of going to a page to show the process the system simply hangs on the parameter page after the submit is pressed until the processing is done and then goes to the processing page just long enough to branch to the report page.
    I am beginning to think that I should alter the design to not use the GTT, but include the username as a field in the output table with a binary index on it for speed so that I can use the job scheduler to run a separate session and hence enable the processing page. The processing page is important as the query can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours to generate the report depending upon the parameters.
