RMA Replaced Zen Xtra, but now it won't S

[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">I just received a Zen Xtra (previous one was replaced because of a Hard Disk problem). I still had my Media Organizer installed with all my tracks ready to be transfered onto the new/refurbished player. Once I connected "Found New Hardware-Zen Jukebox"?window popped up. It then opened a new window stating "[color="#cc0000">The file?'ctpdusb.uns' on Creative Jukebox Family Installation Disk # is needed". [color="#0033cc">The computer recognized my player but would not sync because of this missing file. It gives me an option of where to get the file from but when I click OK, it does nothing. [size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?. I tried to uninstall all Creative Media Organizer and Nomad Explorer files, then re-install?but my computer would not let me. "[color="#cc0033">Could not open Install.Log File"[color="#0033cc"> would appear and cancel the removal.[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?2. I re-installed the CD anyway, but the player was still missing the file it needed ([color="#cc0000">ctpdusb.uns)? to sync.[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?At this point I thought it might be my program and not my player. The last Zen Xtra I had would sync with Win Media Player, so I tried to see if it would sync with WMP0. No luck the same windows popped up.[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?Now I'm not sure if it's my player or my program? [size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">-Do I just need to get an updated driver? Alot of people seem to have problems after they update their drivers. [size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">-Maybe my program and player have different drivers? My Player is Version?.03.02, I'm not sure what Version the installation CD is?[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">?[size="3" face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0033cc">The main thing I would like to know is how do I find this file that is needed? Or better yet how else can I attempt to remove the whole program?

Try:
   - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Connect overnitht to a charging source then:                                      
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on           
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable              
- Try on another computer                                                       
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    I have transferred mymusic to my new mac air from an acer laptop via an external hard drive and it's all there on the mac but now itunes won't sync with my ipod touch or my iphone 4s.

    With the iphone it says there isn't enough space to sync even though I have experimented and unticked various things including photos which takes up a lot of space. It seems like it wants to sync with the empty space on the iphone (very small!) and not with the whole thing. I have tried various things suggested on this forum but have had no luck.

    Do you have enough funds in your bank account?
    otherwise iTunes sometimes black lists card if there are too many fradulent purchases
    Reason why they might black list a card is possibly you call in for alot of fradulent purchases
    One more reason can be because iTunes does actually limit the amount you can change payment methods
    Call AppleCare Phone support and have your call directed to iTunes Store

    Same situation. I installed iOS 8 beta 4 on my iPhone 5 and a few days later my iCloud account disappeared. My contacts and calendar entries are gone.
    My Mac Mini and MacBook do sync as they should with iCloud.
    When I try to log in to iCloud on the iPhone (the username shows "[email protected]" and password shows "required"), I put in my username and password and tap "Sign In", It says "Verifying" at the top and after a while checkmarks appear next to my username and password. Then I get an error message saying "An error occurred while trying to save the iCloud account". If I tap OK the message goes away, leaving my username and password intact (checkmarks are now gone). If I tap "Sign In" again I get a message saying " '[email protected]' is Already Added. This iCloud account has already been added to your iPhone". If I go back to Settings and then go into iCloud again it's not set up and appears as I stated at the beginning of this paragraph.
    Nothing works and the sync does not occur. Contacts are empty and Calendar has no entries.

    If you're on windows try the following:
    This worked for me an hour ago and has allowed me to sync ok. Still haven't tried downloading the new version 5 to the phone yet as I'm still backing up photos etc just in case.
    1. Quit itunes
    2. Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> right click Command Prompt -> Run as Administrator)
    3. Once in the command prompt type the following 3 words starting where your cursor is flashing: netsh winsock reset
    4. press ENTER
    5. Reboot your machine
    6. Restart itunes & connect device to sync
    7. Good luck

    You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
    Try again to see if the problem persists.

    Recently i updated my the itunes but after doing so although it would open on my computer for a bit, it wouldn't recognise it  - ie, syncing phone or I could open the program but when trying to redeem a gift voucher it didn't recognise the program on my PC and suggested i install it!.  Today it wouldn't open at all so I tried to  uninstalled it so i could reinstall it from scratch but now it won't re-install but just takes me to 'thank you' page.

  • IPhone 3G won't connect to wifi, it's been connected before but now it won't work, the iTouch connects with no problem, it's just the phone. I've tried resetting it, updating it, and everything and still no luck.

    I have, yes. I've been shutting it down by holding the sleep/wake key and the home button, aswell. Then I go in and reset network settings and I just get back to it not finding any wifi around. It has the little searching sign, but it just keeps going with nothing showing up.

    Hard Drive:  The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
    Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
    Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
    If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
    What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
    FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
    BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
    Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

    First a reset, press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. If it still doesn't open delete and reinstall app.
