RMS problem

Hi,
I created a midlet which uses RMS to store some short strings as records. it is possible to add, view and delete these records (short strings) using some methods in this midlet. Adding and preview work just fine, but when deleting is concerned it works O.K. first couple of times (this number varies sometimes it is quite large number) and after that .db file becomes corrupted and it is not possible to do anything. You can't add, view or delete records. I am getting 'null' as exception message. When I delete .db file and start midlet again it works O.K. until some number of deletes of course.
Did anybody have similar problem?

I have ran into that same problem. From what I can tell when you delete from the RecordStore it does not adjust your data. For example if you have 5 records indexed (1,2,3,4,5) when you delete 3 you then have 4 records indexed (1,2,4,5) and the index 3 is no longer available for use. Also if you don't overwrite a record then everytime you add a record it goes to the newest index. For example you store with indexes 1,2,4,5 would make record 6 not 3. If you are trying to loop through this in a normal loop you will get an error because when you get to 3 it isn't there and you get the exception. However, you can use the record enumerator and that will fix it because there is a nextRecord() method.
