Hi Experts,
In ongoing Project we have a requirement sending ABAP Proxy with PDF attachment from SAP ECC to PI and then Tibco i'e..SAP ECC>PI>Tibco.Am sending PIDX xmlAttachment to Tibco from PI, Tibco is also in our internal landscape and data is Industry specific, for that am using RNIF adapter.Can i use PIDX xmlAttachment using Reciver RNIF adapter as A2A or B2B?..

IF you want to exchange message with RosettaNet compliant system then we use RNIF adapter in B2B environment .
RNIF adapter supports PIP message format as per me experience,

I have had your exact problem with my old 3GS, now I cannot even get it to turn on, I still see that it is supposed to be charging though, but it never charges any so it seems.
I replaced the Lower Dock Connector Assembly back when it still charged while hooked to my PC, and it found it made no real difference.

The VGA is for the 4G iPod only. The 2G can use the composite and component cables.

" Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Error" RNIF Adapter

Hi,
I have configured B2B integration as   Sender : RNIF adapter & Receiver: XI Adapter.
I am able to test the configuration successfully in ESR and ID. But, whille testing with RWB using same test data, i am getting the following error:
Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Errot.
     Could you anybody help me, what could be the reason? Even i am not getting any error messages in SXMB_MONI.

-Is the 500 internal SErver Error in RWB is only for this issue and the message is successfully processed in SXMB_MONI?
   Could be the PI Service User :PIAFUSER(Adapter framework user) login crendential issue or run out time error.
Try taking the payload from sxmb_moni and enter it in RWB > Adater engine> Test Message Tab > give proper sender interface information , enter payload and try sending message.   check what is behaviour

RNIF Adapter issue

I am facing an issue with RNIF adapter in SAP PI 7.3.1. We have some interfaces with external partners using RNIF adapter. Some partners are accepting basic authentication (user name and password) and some partners are not accepting basic authentication. So Is there any way in SAP PI 7.3.1 to enable basic authentication to some partners and disables basic authentication to some other partners? I checked in SCN and I found solution to disable basic authentication to all partners but I didn't find solution to disable only for selected partners. Please let me know your suggestions.

File Adapter: Advanced selection for source file

Hi Experts,
I am doing file(Idoc format) to IDoc scenario. In my scenario I am getting files in three different formats (ex: abc.dat, xyz.dat, 123.edi). My communication channel (sender file adapter) should poll for every 30 mins, picks up the files and map them to Idoc without any mapping.
Need following clarifications:
1. Should I create 3 communication channels to pick up 3 different type files? Or should I use the Advanced selection for source file to pick up them with only one CC?
2. If there is no mapping how should I proceed in this case?

Not required.. if all the files are from the same directory then u can specify . in the file name parameter.. but make sure that only these 3 file types are places in the directory... if this is not the case you can use Advannced Selection... check my Wiki [Single Sender File CC For Multiple Directories|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/SingleSenderFileCCForMultipleDirectories]

Mappiing is required only if the source and the target structure are different.. if u send the file with the IDocc XML format mapping is not required...

Using RNIF Adapter

Hi all,
We are trying to test RNIF adapter by sending message from XI QA via RNIF adapter (Receiver) to XI DEV via RNIF adapter (Sender).
In sxmb_moni (QA) the message is ok, but in RWB (Adapter engine monitoring) the message appears with an error:
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<host>:50000/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF using connection RNIFAdapter failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 500..
In the default trace log file in J2EE the errors are:
Specified key- HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE -not configured
Specified key- CHANNEL_NAME_RESP -not configured
Specified key- SKIP_DOCTYPE -not configured
Specified key- PARTNER_PIP_PAYLOAD_ID -not configured
Specified key- ADAPTER_USAGE_CODE -not configured
Specified key- MSG_STANDARD_FREE_TEXT -not configured
Did anyone try similar scenario.
Can anyone help me configuring the communication channels (both Receiver and Sender).

I tried HTTP Client to send message to RNIF Adapter.
The Http Client was adopted to send message to RNIF Adapter.
http://<Host>:<Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF
The message was built according to the Rosettanet specifications example

The result of sending message to RNIF Adapter was:

What is the correct format of the Complete Unsigned Message-Packaging in Rosettanet implementation?

On the sending system, the receiver interface is defined as
Receiver Namespace - http://sap.com/xi/RosettaNet/PIP3B2_V0100
Receiver Interface name - AdvanceShipmentNotificationAction
I'm using my XIS sandbox system as the shipper and XID dev system as the receiver. X
For testing purposes,
1. I've set up XIS as File to RNIF scenario
2. I've set up XID as RNIF to file scenario.
XID is able to receive the messages from XIS, but XID is not able to post an ack back to XIS. It errors out with the HTTP 500 error. Ideally, XID should be able to post an ack (202) back to XIS and close the loop.
Any thoughts??

EOIO with sender Rnif Adapter

Scenario:
pip xml-> XI Rnif sender adapter->mapped to IDoc-> IDoc receiver adapter->R/3 4.6C
We want to change default EO processing to EOIO. How can this be done in Rnif Adapter? That is the first question.
Same scenario for testing is using file adapter as sender instead of RNIF adapter, after setting EOIO and entering queue name in the file adapter communication channel, messages in sxmb_moni are using XBQO_<specified name> queue (outbound queue) and showing as EOIO in Reliable Messaging. When I click on the queue it takes me to QRFC monitor for outbound queues...Is it AF outbound queue then?
What is inbound and what is outbound queue and in relation to what, Adapter Framework or Integration Engine or?
Same scenario with sender RNIF Adapter in the moni shows queue XBTO (outbound), but when I click on it it takes me to QRFC Monitor for inbound queues???
Anybody there can put some light into the maze XI queues? Thanks a lot!

VGA and DVI do not carry sound. Only HDMI.
Use a minidisplay-to-HDMI adapter. Then when the TV is connected to the system use "System Prefences > Sound > Output" to select the TV for sound.
Or connect speakers to the output port of the MBP.

Restricting the authorization Object for B2B Transactions

we are facing the problem in the ISA b2b app, actually the scenario is as below.
we have various transaction types like b2b sales,Peoplesoft order,Request for Order change, RMA ,Request for Quotation(RFQ) and metel order.
As per the requirement, The client wants only a few functionalities for a particular user.
Example:
Transaction Type Authorization
PeopleSoft order View only View only
B2B:Req. OrderCh x x
B2B: Req. RMA
B2B: Req. Quote x x
Metel Order x
For b2b sales transaction a lower level employee would only be able to view the order and he should be restricted to make any changes. Is there a posibility to restrict in this manner? This is Urgent. Please respond immediately. Thanking you in anticipation.

Remove access to S_ALV_LAYO for general users and give access to F_IT_ALV instead. Keep S_ALV_LAYO for the users who will be maintaining the default layout.

How to create users for B2B console in SOA Suite 11g?

Hi,
I have installed SOA Suite 11g and created a new user in weblogic server and assigned groups Deployers, Monitors & Operators. On trying to login(http://hostname:port/b2bconsole) using this new user, im not able to login and the below error is logged.
"There are no trading partners for this user".
Can someone plesae guide me on how to create a new user for B2B as i dont want to grant adminstrators group to developers.

Please login as the weblogic server boot user into b2bconsole and then go to users tab of the host trading partner
and search for the newly added user [ provide full username ]
and then assign the role as administrator / monitor from there.
once this is done.. the newly added user should be able to login to the b2bconsole..
monitors have read only access and less priveledges..

How to configure Reconciliation only for a particular resource

I have a requirement to configure target reconciliation from AD only for a client. For that i have installed the conector as per documentation (both prov and recon). Now how can i make sure that:-
1. When i disable/enable the user in OIM, corresponding target resource will not be disabled/enabled.
2. If i make any changes on resource form corresponding change should not flow back to AD.
Does removing the prov related jar able to ensure these things or i need to remove the corresponding prov lookup or any changes required in configuration lookup? Please suggest...TIA

Change the drop down option to "Disable Process..."
Attach tcComplete event handler there.
In Task to Object Status Mapping, select Disabled in front of completed.
Now suppose user is PROVISIONED to a resource say Test. So whenever user gets DISABLED in OIM, it will disabled the target resource Test. But in actual the target resource will not be disabled for that user. He/She can access that resource after getting disabled as you haven't put the logic to disable the target resource (as you have used tcComplete here).
As you are saying that it should show disabled only if Disabled is coming from Trusted Resource. Then it's fine till now.
If you don't want to show status as Disabled then in Task to Object Status Mapping, do not select Disabled in front of completed. In this case, it will show status as PROVISIONED only. This is wrong.
I'll try to understand what you have written here ->
BUT NOW THE ISSUE. IT DISABLED MY ASSOCIATED RESOURCE (not in target resource actually but on oim side under resources tab). THIS IS ACTUALLY NOT DESIRABLE.
- > It will do as you are using tcComplete. If you put your java code which disables the target resource in integration tab (in form of process task adapter instead of tcComplete) then it will disables the actual target resource for user.
REAL REQUIREMENT IS THAT FOR NOW (*till provisioning is not configured*) OIM DISABLE SHOULD NOT INVOKE THE DISABLE OF ASSOCIATED TARGET RESOURCE NOR IT CHANGED THE STATUS UNDER RESOURCES TAB FOR PARTICULAR RESOURCE. THE STATUS UNDER RESOURCES TAB SHOULD ONLY BE CHANGED WHILE RECONCILIATION.
-> As you have written, "Till provisioning is not configured", So if provisioning is not configured then it will not show disabled under Resource tab for that particular resource.
You can see disabled only after resource is provisioned to that user.
If this doesn't answer your question, it would be better if you explain your requirement clearly. It's not clear.

How can I install only OS on SSD and have the HDD only for apps?

I am looking to buy an SSD and install it in my CD area of the macbook pro with an adapter. But I wanted to know if it's possible to instal only my OS on the SSD and have the HDD only for Apps/Software....Is this possible and if so how can I do this?

I suppose you could do this by just installing Mountain Lion onto your SSD, and then move your applications folder and documents to the HDD.
But I would be wary of doing this because:
It seems like it would defeat the purpose of having a SSD, that is to make your computer fast. The computer would have to switch back and forth between the SSD and the HDD. Sounds like that would unnecessarily complicate things.
I like to keep things simple. I think the software engineers at Apple know what they are doing and I just keep things installed simply and the way they intend them. Then they seem to work. I put a SSD in my laptop about a year ago and it works perfectly. I haven't had a problem with my computer in a very, very long time.
This doesn't mean that you can't have a lot of files stored on a secondary drive somewhere, whether it is on an internal or external drive. But I'd keep the system software and apps where they belong, on the drive where the installer puts them.
And this doesn't mean that you can't try your plan and see how it works.
