Roboform plugin not opening new tab

With the new update to FF5 and the newest update of RoboForm for FF5, Ive noticed that when I use RoboForm to log into a site, it doesnt open a new tab. It uses the first tab even if Im currently viewing a second tab. I played around with pinning a tab as an app, but I also un-pinned it to see if that was the problem to no avail.

We have seen reports about a Community Toolbar extension causing this issue with not being able to open a new tab.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

Will not open new tab when clicked on the + next to open page

I can press ctrl for a new tab but otherwise a new tab does not open. I actually need help regarding this new Synch which apparently will be in Firefox automatically in an upcoming version so I am asking how that will synch with people who use LastPass-of course because I use this very successfully and really am not eager to change the set up that I have in place at this time.
I have read through endless FAQ trying to find anyone else who has this question or concern but have found nothing. Can you please tell me how that service will get along with LastPass which does basically the same thing as Synch-it is probably spelled wrong as it looks wrong to me but if I click back to where this issue began, I will lose all of this question so please respond for the upcoming service synch.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

I can not open new tabs in my current window. I have to open a whole new session to open additional web pages. Links work and will open in separate tabs, but I can not start a new tab. Please advise!!!!!

Firefox does not open new tab

I have been using Firefox 3.6 and it works quite well, except that a week ago it stopped opening new tabs (when you click on the + sign for new tabs). Cannot find any help in the Firefox help pages.
(Before you tell me to upgrade to 4.0, I did that and it crashes at least once a day, which practically never happened with 3.6.)
I'm using a Lenovo T510t and Windows 7

Firefox 3.6.13 does not open new tabs anymore. Ctrl-T, file- new tab , right click new tab no longer works. Why is this?

No new extensions or add-ons have been installed. And all the features options to open new tabs fail to open a new tab. Can someone tell me how to fix the problem? I'm tempted to downgrade to an earlier version of firefox or reinstall 3.6.13 to see if that fixes the problen.

disabling/uninstalling firebug and restarting firefox does seem to fix the problem. thanks. The next problem is trying to report the problem to firebug. firefox blocks the https://blog.getfirebug.com/2012/10/09/firebug-1-10-4/#respond web site/page because of its certificate, but does not give you an option to accept the certificate anyway.

Not open new tab (empty) when clicking on a .pdf link that can't be read in FF (no plug-in for pdf)

When I click on a pdf file that should be able to be open in Firefox (with plug-in), FF open a new empty tab and ask to open or save the file.
I would like that in case of FF not being able to open the pdf file, it skips the "open empty tab" part and directly go to "open/save" part.
Is there a way, server side, to tell FF to do so or is there only only client side solution ?
NB : In case that pdf can be open in FF, or any other browser, it should still be open in the browser and not be asking to "open/save", the point is only the empty tab.

Is it possible you were using the Tab Mix Plus extension on your Windows system? Tab Mix Plus has a feature to force bookmarks into a new tab automatically when you left-click instead of the default behavior of opening in the same tab.

Google TGM does not open new tab

I only use the FF search bar in the upper right corner, no other toolbars are installed. The google search with the little blue "g" opens find within the same tab that is currently open. The Google(TGM) used to open the search page in a new tab and not automatically switch to it - I liked it. Since updating past FF19, it has lost this capability, it now opens in the same tab that I'm already in.
I have set the manage search engines.
I have gone through troubleshooting.
I have reset Firefox.
I have checked all the add-ons.
I have gone through the tab group management process.
