Roboformtaskbaricon process will not close after firefox 9 is shut down

Hello,
The roboformtaskbaricon.exe (v754) process will not close after firefox 901 is shut down. Although I could be wrong, my guess is that firefox is pushing this process out of firefox, forcing it to run on its own. If it's a roboform issue, then I will contact them.

From the name of the file '''''roboform<u>taskbaricon</u>.exe''''', it implies the Windows Task Bar rather than the Firefox toolbar.

Try ( alt + cmd + esc ). Gives you a menu of running applications, and a chance to "Force Quit".

Iphoto will not close or let me shut down computer. Now it's frozen and can't even view photos. Thanks.

I don't know how this started, but I'm unable to shut down my computer because I get message saying my photos are being synced with online... which they aren't. Now iphoto is frozen. Can't shut down computer or view photos.

What is the model number of the toner cartridge that you are experiencing issues with? The imageCLASS D530 supports the Canon Cartridge 128.
Please follow the instructions below to insert the toner cartridge. Ensure that both sides are level as you are inserting the cartridge in the machine:
1. Verify that the orange tabs and sealing tape have been removed.
2. Insert the toner cartridge.
Fit the protrusions (A) on each side of the toner cartridge into the guides located on each side of the machine. Slide the toner cartridge into the machine, until the toner cartridge meets the back of the machine.

My macbook pro 2007 will not wake from sleep without holding down start button and then restarting? Is this a serious problem?

You can run the Disk Utility> Repair Disk from Recovery ( command R on start)
if that does not sort it I would reinstall OS X

Adobe Flash Upgrade will not install after Firefox upgrade to 3.6.7

I upgraded to Firefox 3.6.7. After the upgrade I got a message that I needed to upgrade Adobe Flash due to security vulnerabilities. The Flash upgrade will not install. It simply sits and never installs no matter how long I wait.

Thanks for your response. I have previously reviewed this. The only potential problem it seems to resolve is having 2 versions of Shockwave installed. I only have one. The only thing I can think of to do is just uninstall the one version and see if it will trigger an installation. When I go to the Flash install site, I agree to the terms and get the next screen that says download will start. I never get a message asking if it's ok to run or anything. No matter where I look for a download for Flash I wind up at the same place with the same problem. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

FF will not respond after opening a drop down box or filling in any form until I minimize and restore the page. This happens constantly.

Just to get to the page to post this I had to minimize FF 3 times because it doesn't recognize that I am on the page that is loaded. I can move my curser, but cannot click anywhere. When it just showed I misspelled "curser" and I tried to right click the word to correct it, I got the pop up dictionary, went back to try to continue typing and could not. I had to minimize the window, then bring it back up to continue typing. I have already fully uninstalled FF, I have reset back to an older date, I have shut down and taken the battery out. I have tried installing older versions of FF. Also, when I try to use bookmarks or other drop down menus in FF, it's randomly blacked out. I will attempt to show a screen shot if allowed. I have done force quit many times. i don't know what else to do. There is also now a CD stuck in the computer. Help please

well, lets work on getting the stuck cd out:
use the F12 or eject key on the keyboard.
If the disc will not eject try dragging the disc icon to the trash.
If the disc will still not eject, holding down the trackpad or mouse button after restarting the computer should also eject a disc.
If the disc continues not to eject, reset the Power Manager (PMU) or System Management Controller (SMC) and try steps 1-4 again.

Upgaded ios on 3gs to ios 6.0. Manual connect to wifi and works. Will not reconnect after the phone shuts off unless I do it manually. The old ios would. Suggestions??

I have the "Ask to join Networks" button turned on. Frustrating and could get expensive if I forget and start using ATT data. Suggestions??

Settings, Reset, Reset Network Settings. Then attempt to connect again. Passwords will be deleted when you do this, so it will ask for the password again. After that, see if it will connect.

With Firefox 4 gmail stays logged in after Firefox is shut down and restarted

In Firefox 4 if you shut down the browser without signing out of gmail you stay signed in, even after a full system shutdown and restart.
I HAVE NO APP TABS etc, and my security settings are also normal (viz. no stay signed in etc etc) I also always use HTTPS
(In earlier versions, if you didnt always use https, then shutting the browser wouldnt log you out. But if you always used https, you would be logged out)
Heres what happens: First let me make it clear that I have no app tabs, and all the other settings are correct (viz. no stay signed in etc etc). Now say one of the open tabs is my mail inbox. If I close and restart browser, I'll be in my inbox!! (Earlier versions of firefox took me to the login page).
Whats the issue here? Does everyone else also experience this?

This is a massive design flaw or bug and needs fixing; I can't recall a larger direct security issue than leaving people prepped for auto-login upon closing a browser, and to one of the most popular email providers in the world. Persisting since v.4 all the way up to current v7.0.1. Ridiculous.

Finder DOES NOT Respond after Restart, Or Shut Down

I am running an iMac G5 on OS X 10.5.4, After a shut down or restart, Finder does not respond, The only thing on my desktop is My HD and Chosen wallpaper. I can launch Apps from the Dock, but not folders from the dock, Not Downloads folder, Documents Folder, Just Applications, which is weird because they are in finder too! Mail starts up when I log in so I can access Mail, I use Firefox, When I click on it in the dock it starts up no problem, after a while Finder does respond, I get all my icons back on my desktop and can access folders. I have Cleared System Cache, Browsers Cache, I ran Disk Utility and REPAIRED Disk permissions. No help. Short of RE-Installing Mac OS X, What Should I do? Is this happening to anyone else??

I have tried the following: deleting the com.apple.finder.plist, deleting the com.apple.sidebar.plist, I have reinstalled the 10.5.5combo update, I have deleted all of my photoshop preferences (possible solution from another thread), and it is still doing it!

Volume Level Will Not Save When Restarting or Shutting Down iMac

I have a 24" iMac with 10.4.9 and all available updates as of April 5. When I restart my iMac the volume level will not save so when I reboot into OS X it is at 50% which is inconvenient for me since I have my speakers at full so all I would have to do is use my Mac's volume to turn it up. I never had this problem with my G4 Mac Mini. I know I could just create an Automator action, but the system should save the volume automatically, shouldn't it?

I have had this problem since the day I got my machine in february last year. At every new boot it's not full (as i like it) but only up half way.
I don't know why it doesn't stick, but I've lived with it for over a year so I kinda forgot about it.
OS X ignoring the setting whether or not to dim the display after a few minutes is another of those minor peeves that have been around for over a year.

IPhoto will not allow my Mac to shut down as it thinks it is importing pictures, but there are none left to import. How do I get around this?

iPhoto will not quit, nor will it allow my Macbook Pro to shut down because it thinks it is importing photos. There are none left to imort. IPod will not play playlist instead it shuts down then on again

Playing audio books I have to hit play on every track, also the overdrive program I & my library use for audio books will not load onto my iPod suddenly I have to drag and drop. The overdrive says (when loading) file path: Apple USB storage device.
