RoboHelp 10 EPUB3 output not supported in ADE 4.x?
In ADE 3.0 our monster help system looks OK but has some formatting and styling issues. I had expected by this time we'd see ADE pick up the CSS styling at least, but it appears to be even worse. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who may have used this publishing route and overcome issues.
I removed my photos and formatted the camera's flash card but it didn't help. I spent an hour on the phone with Apple and they couldn't resolve the issue either. The support person is forwarding the problem to Apple engineering.
Thank you for your suggestions.

IPad mini says the 30 pin VGA adaptor is not supported
I bought a 30 pin VGA adaptor, in the apple store. When I plug the adaptor into the iPad mini I get a pop up that says "device not supported by iPad"
If you mean you're using this:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter?fnode=3a
with this:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC552ZM/B/apple-vga-adapter
You can't. As it says on the first page (emphasis mine), "This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported." You need the Lightning to VGA adapter.
If that's not what you mean, please post back and clarify what it is you are using and attempting to accomplish.

ITouch iOS 6.1.3 not supported with bose iPod dock
We just had a Bose lifestyle v35 system installed in our home. The system sounds great and works seamlessly with all products except my iTouch V 5, iOS 6.1.3. The problem is not a faulty dock because earlier versions of iPod work quickly as described in product manuals. I have tried 2 different Lightning to 30 pin adapter. Both are Apple products. Has anyone else experienced this problem and, if so, did you find a solution? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!The Apple Lightning to 30 pin adopter supports audio.

Symbol Entities not supporting
Hi,
I'm doing a ePub conversion from PDF. In that PDF, there are symbols color filled triangles and color filled stars which is not displaying correctly in ADE, but it is displaying fine in iPad. Please advice why these entities are not supported in ADE. What we need to do to for that?
Thanks,
SadikDid you buy it from a Nokia shop or from Vodafone store ? The phone is locked to a Network when you buy it at a special price (which is considerably less then the actual cost) thru' an Operator. The phone comes at this special price with some specific plans but the biggest disadvantage is that you have to ONLY use that particular operator's service for a specified time, till it can be unlocked. Other drawback is the availability of the updates, which are possible only after an approval from the Operator..

Could not turn on Screen mirroring. The output device is not ready or does not support HDCP
i tried it on my tv sony bravia w700b with my new xperia z1
i didnt unlocked my bootloder or i didnt rooted my phone
dont know whats the problem is
'Could not turn on Screen mirroring. The output device is not ready or does not support HDCP'. can anybody able to tell how can I resolve this please?Have you checked if your device does support HDCP? I looked at https://www.iezvu.com/ezcast.php?l=en but i'm afraid i can't find any detailed specification for it.
If you have unlocked your bootloader this may also be the cause for this issue.

Output to PDF not supported image files
In generating a pdf from Output to PDF in Bridge CS5, I get this dialog: "Contact Sheet Processed. Some of the selected files are not supported image files." Some of the files are included in the PDF and some are not. I'm making a PDF of INDD files, and can not find a difference between the files that generate and those that don't. I've never had this problem before. Any thoughts, anyone?
Thank you,
Emmy" Some of the files are included in the PDF and some are not. I'm making
a PDF of INDD files, and can not find a difference between the files that
generate and those that don't.
That should not happen, double check if the filenames all contain the
correct extension and there is only one dot in the filename, the one in
front of the extension (.indd)
Also use the purge cache for folder option (menu tools/cache/purge cache for
folder) when having Bridge poited to the folder with the problem files. -
Ok, I figured out how to add ebooks to the ADE library, but when i dragged the ebook to the library, there was a message that said the file's format is currently not supported. I tried a couple other ebooks with the same results. Is there something i can do? I have windows 7 and intel core 13.
1. Is the printer connected with a cable, or is it wireless?
2. Have you installed the printer driver?

Epson SX218 doesn't print (client-error-document-format-not-supported)
Hi there,
I'm currently trying to figure out how to get my Epson Stylus SX 218 to work. Unfortunately, cups (or the printer or whatever causes my problems...) obviously just doesn't want me to get this to work.
Here's what I've done so far:
I installed everything as described in the CUPS wiki article (so ghostscript and all the foomatic-stuff is installed, usblp is NOT blacklisted, see why below)
I installed epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-sx218 from AUR
I started cups...
Nothing worked (Printer not recognized, either with or without blacklisted usblp module...)
I searched the forums for a solution
I installed cups-usblp and reinstalled all the cups stuff
Printer got recognized! Yay!
So, now the printer is set up in cups using the avasys driver. But...
It doesn't print!
When I try to print a test page via the cups webinterface it keeps telling me
Unsupported format "application/vnd.cups-banner".
The following packages are installed now:
$ pacman -Qs cups
local/cups-usblp 1.5.0-1
local/libcups 1.5.0-1
$ pacman -Qs foomatic
local/foomatic-db 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
local/foomatic-db-engine 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
local/foomatic-db-nonfree 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
local/foomatic-filters 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
$ pacman -Qs epson
local/epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-320-sx218 1.0.0-6
$ pacman -Qs ghostscript
local/ghostscript 9.04-5
Here's my cups error log:

Please let me know if you should need other outputs, logfiles, etc. I appreciate any idea that could help me to get this damn thing to finally print something.
Thank you very much!Hi Radhakrishnan,
ORARRP doesn't actually do any printing itself. Via COM/Active-X, it calls the appropriate program that corresponds to the type of output, and then this program does the actual printing. For PDF, it calls Acrobat Reader to print the document. Acrobat Reader displays the printer dialog to let you choose which printer to use, and then when you click OK, Acrobat Reader prints the document and sends it to the printer.
I expect that you'll find that when you use Acrobat Reader yourself on this machine it has exactly the same problems with this particular printer configuration. If so, you'll need to contact Adobe for further assistance.

Message uses a character set that is not supported by the internet service
Does any one have any advice on how to fix this problem?
E-mails sent from my iphone 3G periodically arrive in an unreadable form at the recipient. The body of the e-mail has been replaced with the message "This message uses a character set that is not supported by the internet service...." The problem e-mails also include an attachment that contains an unformatted text file containing the original message surrounded by what appears to be lots of formatting data that is displayed as gibberish.
This occurs sometimes, but not always, even with the same recipients. I am sending e-mail through a G-mail account that is configured on the iphone using IMAP. I have tried the gmail account to use the two available formatting options for mail, but neither fixes the problem.
I have also upgraded to 2.01 and restored a few times without impact.Hi,
I got somewhat similar problem with special charecters(German umlaud ,,..).
I create a file with java having special charecters in it. Now if I open this file I am able to view the special charecters in it.But If I attach this file send it using following code then receiver can not see the umlaud charecters in it.They get replaced by _ or ?
MimeBodyPart mbp2 = new MimeBodyPart();
FileDataSource fds = new FileDataSource(fileName);
mbp2.setDataHandler(new DataHandler(fds));
mbp2.setFileName(output.getName());
Multipart mp = new MimeMultipart();
mp.addBodyPart(mbp2);
msg.setContent(mp);
Transport.send(msg);
From you message it looks like you are able to send the mail attachment correctly(by preserving special charecters).
Can you tell me what might be wrong in my code.
I appriciate your efforts in advance.

View Solution.Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the graphics driver from AMD if you have not already done so.
Your notebook is not supported by HP for W7, and especially not supported for 32 bit operating systems.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/mobile?os=Windows%207%20-%2032
As a last resort, try manually installing the W7 x64 graphics driver from your notebook's support and driver page (sp66999).
I explored the driver folder, and there are 32 bit drivers included in that file. -

DVI to VGA adapter, monitor says "input not supported"
I have just received my MBP yesterday and, when I attempted to attach it via DVI to VGA adapter to my Acer AL2016W flat panel LCD, the monitor told me "input not supported". I was under the impression VGA is VGA is VGA. Perhaps I am mistaken. There is no DVI port on this monitor so I am, essentially, screwed ATM unless I purchase yet another monitor - this one is less than a year old. I require my MBP to be attached to an external monitor due to a disability, and am not sure what to do. I don't believe it to be an isolated issue, especially after viewing some of the other posts about the graphics card being an issue as well. I wish Apple would come forward with a resolution. I realize this issue has probably been posted somewhere already, however I am unable to sift through all the posts due to the aforementioned disability and inability to attach to external monitor. I just can't sit here for that long, so I offer my apologies.
First off, are you connecting in the proper sequence? That is:
1. MBP and monitor powered on
2. connect monitor's VGA cable to the DVI-to-VGA adapter
3. connect DVI-to-VGA adapter to the MBP's DVI port
In that way, the MBP should autodetect the monitor and set the resolution appropriately. Else, the output resolution of the MBP may not suit the monitor, and the monitor will give a "not supported" error.
As a side note, have you considered the options in System Preferences > Universal Access? Options include Zoom, VoiceOver (spoken screen selections), making the cursor larger, and other enhancements for the visually impaired.
Hope this helps... -
"Mode not supported" Mac mini connected to LCD TV via HDMI
Hello, new mac min owner here (2.5) (September 2011). I followed the instructions in the "hello" booklet, including attaching peripherals, such as mouse and keyboard. I also connected a Samsung LCD TV via HMDI cable - as I propose to use this as my monitor. I then switchedn on the macmini, as directed in pages 11-16 of the macmini 'hello' handbook. Unfortunately I cannot even progress to the setup assistant as my TV just tells me that the "mode is not supported" through the HDMI cable. I assume that some output settings need to be changed in the macmini to accommodate the LCD TV output range.
My question is, how do I change these settings if the only screen I have is the screen that the macmini will not output to? Isn't this a massive oversight by Apple, given that a major selling point is the macmini's versatility?What you are seeing, where you can't see the edges of the image, is known as "overscan".
This is something TVs have done forever to avoid seeing weird stuff at the edges of the transmitted frames.
The display control in System Preferences lets you turn overscan on or off (it is a checkable item in the "Options" panel). You might need to have this checked to display video, but you sure don't want it checked to use the TV as a computer display.
Although I have overscan OFF on my older Mac Mini, I've had the problem where sometimes after a restart the display is in overscan mode. To fix this, I can "guess" where the apple menu is off the top left of the screen, get to system preferences, check overscan to be on and then uncheck it to turn it back off. If you can't guess where the apple menu is successfully, you might try accessing the Mini from another Mac by using screen sharing. The shared screen looks correct even if overscan is on. -
