RoboHelp 7 ACE Exam Now Available

Hello all,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows when Adobe made the RH7
ACE exam available. Last week I went here:

and saw "Adobe® RoboHelp® 7.0 Exam number 9A0-079"
available from Prometric.
So just out of curiosity, I'm wondering how long the test has
been available.

Certification is something Rick, myself and other "old
timers" here have been requesting for a long time under Macromedia.
Happily, Adobe is gearing up some nice programs that I'm assuming
will be rolled out in the first part of next year.

Does anyone know if the ACE exam is available for Cap4? I've checked the list according to Adobe's website but am only able to find it for version 3.

I know this thread is quite old, but I came across some comments about Captivate 4 that I think you could get a workaround from if you wanted to.
In regards to audio quality, I experience the tinny, hollow audio quality you speak of. There is a work around for it. Unfortunately it requires you use Captivate 3.
Import your audio files into Captviate 3.
Save the file
Open the Captivate 4 file you want to put the audio in
Go to File - Import - External Library (You must be in Edit View)
Import the CP3 file you created with the audio in it.
Drag the audio files from the imported library to your Captivate 4 library.
Problem solved.

Photoshop CS4 ACE exam

The Adobe Photoshop CS4 ACE exam is available for scheduling at the Pearson Vue website since last tuesday.
I'm waiting for the preparation guide. How long it takes for Adobe to release a prep guide since the exam is out?

Was this ever resolved? I am experiencing the same thing the day after passing. Wondering if there is a lead time?

When will ACE exam for Captivate 4 be available?

Has anyone heard anything from Adobe about when the Captivate 4 ACE exam will be available?

I had heard there would be one, but I am not certain about timing. I'll will try to find out something for you.

Trying to book ACE exam for Indesign CC - but not available

Why is an ACE exam for Indesign CC not available and when will it be? I have been trying to book it via Pearson Vue for some time but no luck. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Dreamweaver are all available as ACE exams for CS6 and CC but no Indesign. Are you dropping Indesign from the ACE curriculums?

The link you posted directs to the CS6 exam, I was wondering why CC isn't available for Indesign (but is for other softwares). I have already contacted Pearson Vue and they said that Adobe hasn't supplied them with any Indesign CC exam and to contact Adobe regarding why.
I tried to contact Adobe but they said that they could only offer software support and didn't have info about the ACE process.
I'm thinking this is a dead end.

InDesign CS5 ACE exam - when is it available to take in London

Hello,
I have exhausted all means of finding out when and where the Adobe InDesign CS5 ACE exam will happen in London this year.
I have called Pearson Vue and they have no idea, they still have InDesign CS4 ACE exam listed.
I have also called contacts at Adobe and nobody seems to know there either!
I would like to take this exam before Xmas, is this possible?
Is there anyone out there who knows?! there must be somebody out there? ( :

The cause could be due to your user agent being mixed up as 3.6.12 and 3.6.13 versions. I think downloading 3.6.13 from www.mozilla.com and then uninstall your 3.6.13 and then install the 3.6.13 you downloaded should fix it in this case. Your settings are in a separate place ([[Profiles]]) and not in program folder.

PSCS4 ACE Exam - Questions on 3D and Video included or not?

Hi,
I have been thinking of taking the ACE exam for CS4 for awhile now. I have been using a couple of the exam sims available, ExamAids & uCertify but have noticed that while the uC one has questions on 3D, Video and Animation, the EA one does not.
Can anyone who has actually taken the test please tell me if they had to answer questions on these elements of the software. I'm not interested in what the questions were, just if they covered those subjects. I know they are not listed on the exam bulletin, but they might crop up in the 'Advanced Knowledge' section.
And before anyone from the 'why bother with ACE exams' crowd chips in, I work for a training company that wants to become AATC, they need to use ACIs to achieve that status. So I need to become an ACE.

The questions are only comming from the prep guide, if something isn't mentioned there then it won't be in the exam. There's nothing about 3d in the prep guide so you don't need to learn about it but there are two subpoints about video so make sure that you go through those:
• Given a scenario, describe the proper color conversion to apply. (Scenarios include: To CMYK for prepress, to a different color space for Web or video.)
• Explain how to use features that handle images moving to and from video workflows.(Includes: Pixel aspect ratio, document presets, Video Preview.)

CP4 ACE Exam

I see the CP 4 ACE exam is now available at http://partners.adobe.com/public/ace/main.html. But as far as I can see, the recertification exam for CP3 ACEs is not. Does anybody have any word on it?

IL CS4 ACE Exam

Who has taken the CS4 ace exam? What did you do to prep for it? What study materials did you use?

Well.. you can't take the CS4 ACE exam anymore. You take the CS5 ACE. Old version tests are only available until the new test comes out.
The Adobe Prep guide and Classroom in a Book will cover everything you need to know.

Adobe LC Designer-Developer ACE Exam - 9A0-081

Hi,
As per the information from prometric centres, the exam 9A0-081 ( Adobe LC designer ES -developer ACE) is no more available. However, as this is the version that i currently work on, i look forward to take up this examination. Could anyone please tell me if it is possible to take up this examination and the procedure involved.

Anyone at Adobe know when the Flex 2 ACE exam will be retired?

Now that Flex 3 is out, when will the Flex 2 ACE exam be
retired? I ask this because I do want to take the Flex 2 ACE exam,
and I want to ensure it is still offered when I am done studying

I found out by the Adobe guy that coordinates certification
exam development that the Flex 2 exam should still be in service
for another 4 - 5 months. Not set in stone I guess, but that's what
he said.

Just so you know. You should remove the download trial link from the official addt page on this site. It is there for download, but nothing happens. I was expecting a notification as promised on email, when addt was released. But no such email.
I have after a total reinstall of all my system MAC OSX 10.5.6 finally succeeded in installing all of Design Premium CS4. (Shame on adobe for making this such a hastle!!!).
But when i install ADDT 1.0.1 downloaded today it appears in my extensionmanager, but nowhere to be found in DW CS4. I have restarted DW before checking and all seems to appear ok in Extension Manager.
What could this be and are others having same issues

Adobe InDesign ACE exam help!

My question is targeted towards the InDesign ACE exam. I am based in the UK and experiencing difficulty gaining answers to some questions.
Can somebody advise:
A) How much longer the CS6 exams will be available for?
B) When the CC exam will be available and what version it will be as I notice on the Adobe website there are 2 different manuals for this; the 9.2 release and the 2014 release?

It looks like the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 exam is available from the Adobe section of the Pearson VUE website.
