RoboHelp 7 - Intermittently missing the space after bolded text in

We've converted a project of 800+ topics to RoboHelp 7 and
updated our software with the new latest patch 7.01.001. The funky
character issues have gone away but now, we noticed that we're
intermittently missing the space after bolded words. I've check the
HTML code and it is the coding is the same for all of the bolded
words within a topic, yet one word will be missing space and all of
the other bolded words won't.
This applies to topics that were created in RH7 before the
patch as well topics that were coverted from RH5 to RH6 and then to
RH7. Also, applies to topics to were originally imported into RH5
or RH6 from Word.
The formatting looks like this: "It does <span
style="font-weight: bold;">not</span> post in PARA or DBS.
Sometimes, I see the end code is
</span><span></span> --or -- </span>
<spaces>
I've also seen <b> word </b>
Problem is that it is inconsistent and we have over 800
topics within our project. To check each topic in the generated
version and then go back to Edit will take forever.

    Hi BRAEWOOD DEVELOPMENTS,
You can edit the Subject & Message when you've selected Send Personalized Invitations (though you can't change the font or style of the text).

  • How to format the spaces in a text file using bat file scripting

Currently the records in my text file are like this:
    100239 0000015.00
    QRP
I want them to be like this:
    100266 0000015.00 QRP
There should be 6 spaces before the first column and 8 spaces after that. There should be 1 space between the second and third columns.
Generally this file contains approx 1000 records.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    So far it's like this:
    for /f "skip=2 delims=*" %%a in (C:\Bonus_File_Export.txt) do (
    echo %%a >>C:\newfile.txt
    xcopy C:\newfile.txt C:\Bonus_File_Export.txt /y
    del C:\newfile.txt /f /q
I've to format a text file generated by the tool Microstrategy and it feed it to another system in a specific format. Ihave removed the headers with the above script but was unable to remove the spaces between those columns.
You can use this code as a basis for your script:
    @echo off
    set Line=
    if exist d:\temp\newfile.txt del d:\temp\newfile.txt
    for /F "skip=2 tokens=1-2" %%a in (d:\temp\test.txt) do call :Sub %%a %%b
    goto :eof
    :Sub
    if not "%2"=="" (
      set Line=      %1        %2
    ) else (
      echo %Line% %1>>d:\temp\newfile.txt
It works provided that your input file uses this format:
    Header line
    Header line
    100239 0000015.00
    QRP
    100240 0000016.00
    QRR
    100241 0000017.00
    QRS

  • Please help: Extra Line Space after bolded word

I am in the process of editing a book manuscript in MS Word 2010, and there is an annoying problem that I cannot solve. I have tampered with all the line spacing options, but I'm at a loss.
When I bold a word, it introduces an extra little line space before the proceeding line. When I unbold the word, the space goes away. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? And is there an easy fix?
    Thanks very much,
    Jon

Are you saying that the line spacing changes when you apply bold formatting? Try a different font. Or you could specify a fixed value for line spacing (choose the "Exactly" option in the Paragraph dialog box).

  • How to reclaim the space after delete

    Hi All,
Today we deleted large number of rows from one table, but we didn't get free space after that. So for testing purpose, I have created one test tablespace with 5mb size .Created a table and inserted n number of rows in that table and made the tablespace full.I checked in dba_segments(5mb) and dba_free_space tables. It shows perfectly. After that I deleted all the records and try to create a simple table, but it returns (ORA-01658: unable to create INITIAL extent for segment).I read some time back in tom's forum that delete willn't reclaim the space ,instead it will go to freelist of table..Is there any way to reclaim the space?(after delete)
and also I used to see the tablesize by using dba_segments table.but now it shows 5mb of size for the empty table. Is there any query to get the exact table size? Please help me to understand the concept.
    Thanks,Jvel

Thanks,JvelDELETE simply deletes the specified rows. The blocks/extetents that were allocated to hold those rows remain allocated. The theory is that if the table once needed sufficient blocks/extents to hold 'x' rows, it may need so again at some time in the future. Allocating and de-allocating extents is a pretty expensive operation, so oracle is not going to waste time and resources constantly doing that just because you delete rows, which is a perfectly normal DML operation. Unless you don't expect that table to grow again, I'd not waste my time trying to reclaim the space.

  • I created a partition accidentally cancelled it but now I am missing the space on my harddrive?

I was in the process of creating a 1gb partition on my harddrive. I accidentally cancelled it and now im missing that 1gb from my total space. I had Originally 499.25gb now its 498gb. How do i correct this issue?
    Thanks!

    Here's an additional thought:
First, repair your hard drive with Disk Utility.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
Second, shut down the computer and wait at least one minute. Then turn the computer back on. After it has completely restarted, check your hard drive information: Select the disk's Desktop icon. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. See what is displayed for Capacity, Used, and Available space. This is really the best information about the drive's space.

  • Missing Free Space After Cleaning Up

I connected my new iMac Intel to my old iMac G3 (still running OS X 10.2.8) via FireWire to transfer some of my files. Well, I deleted my Music folder (that had around 10gig) from the G3 through the iMac Intel.... well, I'm not sure if I'm being clear.... what I'm trying to say is that I was using the G3 as an external driver for the iMac Intel, when I dragged the G3 music folder to the Intel's Trash...
Anyway, after I turned the G3 on again, the music folder was naturally gone, but my available space in the hard disk was still the same as before...
I used the WhatSize software and it said in the total that 30 Gb were being used.... but I manually added all the folders sizes it shows me and the amount is 20Gig.
    Where has my 10gig gone?!

When I deleted the folder from the G3 it went to the Intel trash, that was later emptied.... but the G3 says i'm still using that space...

  • Missing Disk Space After Cancelled Compressor Queue

I am running 3.5.3, with FCP7.  Yesterday, cancelled a queue, and deleted the files it created (I messed up the format).  However, I have just noticed that I am missing about 40GB on my external drive, and 15GB on my Macintosh HD drive.  I suspect that Compressor created somekind of hidden/temp file, because the computer was not used for anything else since this happened.  The difference between 'Summary Info' of the entire drive, and 'Get Info' on the drive itself is how I know some kind of hidden file is taking up this space.  I cannot find any answer to this problem online.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
    Thanks!

I had a friend that used to work as an Apple Genius take a look.  Apparently, Compressor triggered Time Machine to activate a Mobile Backup of my external drive, which created a backup of the compressor files I deleted and then did not delete itself.
It was in a hidden folder ".MobileBackups" on the drive, and did not show it's real file size.  (Apprently, if you do not have permissions to view/open a folder it may not reveal its actual file size via 'Get Info').  He was able to find it through Terminal and delete it.  However, my understanding is that if you made the hidden folders visible and dragged it to the trash it would have the same affect.  He also said most Apple Geniuses would not have been able to find this, and would have reformatted the drive.
Hope this helps anyone who has a similar issue in the future!

  • Missing disk space after crash

In the middle of burning a backup to DVD, my machine crashed (old emac, OX X 10.3.x). Afterwards, it seems like about 30gig of disk space has disappeared (the disk went from 15G of 55G used to 52G used). Disk utility found nothing wrong, Norton Utilities found and fixed "major problems" and still there's all this space missing.
I expect that there's a huge temporary file hidden somewhere, but still that seems a lot of space.
    Any thoughts, suggestions?
    Thanks much.

    Welcome To  Discussions mfidelman!
What were you backing up, and what method were you using?
"...the disk went from 15G of 55G used to 52G used)."
Considering the small amount of free space presently available, I think it could be extremely risky, to download anything at this point.
Insufficient available space, can cause performance issues, system corruption, and possible loss of data.
Depending on Mac system usage habits, it is a general recommendation, to keep 10% to as much as 20%, of the Total capacity, available at all times.
    Try the procedure below first.
INSTRUCTIONS TO RUN CRON MANUAL COMMANDS
    Quit all applications/programs.
Navigate to HD > Applications > Utilities.
Double click on Terminal, to open.
    At the prompt, type:
    sudo periodic daily
    Press Return.
Enter your Admin password when prompted, then press Return.
This will execute the daily script that is sheduled to run every night.
When completed, repeat this procedure, but change the command to:
    sudo periodic weekly
This one rebuilds a database or two, and usually takes somewhat longer to complete. It is scheduled to run once a week.
    Repeat again, with command:
    sudo periodic monthly
Or they can all be run in one pass, which is preferable, with this command:
    sudo periodic daily weekly monthly
When the tasks complete, and return to the prompt, you may quit Terminal.
Restart the Mac, and run Repair Permissions.
TO REPAIR PERMISSIONS ON THE STARTUP DISK
1.Open Disk Utility, located in Applications/Utilities, and select the startup disk in the left column.
    2.Click First Aid.
3.Click Verify Disk Permissions to test permissions or Repair Disk Permissions to test and repair permissions. (I never "Verify". Just run "Repair".)
Rerun RP, until the only messages reported, are listed here Spurious Permissions Errors Using: 10.3.x, authored by Michael Conniff.
When "Repair Permissions" is complete. Quit "Disk Utility".
