Roger IPhone users cannot call my Bell IPhone

II have an IPhone 4G on a Bell 3G network when I have friends/family call my cell as long as their cell is also on a Bell network the call comes through, its however when someone on a Roger's network dials my number it comes up with a "you call can not be completed as dialed"
I have selected the carrier from Automatic to Bell 3G, however that did not fix the issue. I have spoken with Bell & Apple and both are saying its each other's fault.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
Thanks!

This is definitely a carrier issue. It's Rogers that is having problems connecting to your number. However, it could be Bell that's causing this difficulty
The iPhone can't determine where or from what carrier the call originates. If this was a malfunction of your phone, there would be problems receiving all calls, not just from Rogers, and it wouldn't result in a "cannot complete as dialed" message (that comes from the originating carrier, not the phone).
You need to contact Bell.

IPhone 5 broke switched to old iPhone 4 but cant receive texts from other iPhone users cant do anything with iPhone 5 screen does not work

I'm guessing that you turned off the iPhone 5? If so, then are you using the same phone number as the 5? You need to go into Settings>Messages>make sure that iMessage is turned on and activated. Then go the Send & Receive and find out if your current number is checked.

  • Iphone users cannot text me after switching platforms. Please Help

Ok, So I just started a new job and have been assigned a company phone. My company phone is a Samsung Note 3. I have been using an AT&T iPhone 5. I went a day or so with very little text messages coming on to the phone and was currious why i was not getting responses from friends. After an angry phone call from my boss, I realized I was only getting text messages from Andriod Users. So I gathered my roommates and had them text me to figure why I was not getting texts. The iPhone users could not text me but i could text them. The android users had no issue. I looked at their phones and it was sending the message to me as an iMessage which i wont be able to recieve. I googled the issue and found other users with the same thing. I traded in my phone today so i dont have access to the iPhone any longer.
    This is what ive tried:
Logged into iMessage on my Mac:
Went to Preferences --> Accounts --> Unclicked my phone number (and eventually just shut it off all together)
    After this: No Change
Logged into iTunes on my Mac:
Went to Itunes Store --> Account --> Itunes in the Cloud --> Unauthorized my iPhone from this section
    After this No Change
When to the Apple Support Community
    Went to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
    Clicked on “edit products”
Clicked on the “x” to the right of the product.
    Clicked “unregister”
    After this: No Change
    Went to iforgot.apple.com
I Changed my password, in hopes that it would disconnect my phone
    After this: No Change
    Grabbed my friends iPhone 5,
Disconnected his apple id and logged into mine
I toggled the iMessage slider to see if it would disconnect.
Logged off the iCloud Account on that device leaving iMessage off
    After this: No Change
Called At&T Customer Support (By Far the Most Frustrating)
The guy proceeded to tell me that I should contact all of my iPhone using friends and tell them that every time they text me they need to long press the text bubble and select "Send as Text Message". After 45 mins, I just gave up. The conversation ended with the rep telling me that i should just swich back to iPhone. I talked to his manager and got a months statement credit for that one, so it wasnt a complete loss.
I own 3 macbook pros, a mac mini, a mac pro, 2 ipads, and a ipad mini. Im very frustrated and if I cannot get this resolved, I will seriously reconsider any apple purchase i make in the future.
    Please Help!

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2755 noted:
If you plan on transferring your SIM card or phone number from an iPhone to a device that does not support iMessage, turn off iMessage in Settings > Messages first. If you do not, other iOS devices may continue to try to send a message using iMessage first, instead only using SMS or MMS.
If you have not turned off iMessage for your phone number before you use it on a non-iOS device, it will be detected by other iOS device as still on iMessage.  What you can do is put back your number/SIM on an iPhone then activate then deactivate iMessage once successfully activated to de-register that phone number from iMessage server.  Hope it helps.

  • Iphone 5s cannot call out any calls, but still can receive incoming calls and sms

    Hi
anyone experiencing this problem? After buying iphone 5s less than 2 months which I never did in the past, I could no longer make any phone calls out, yet i still can receive incoming calls and data.
Could someone kindly assist in this?

Contact your carrier. Phone functions are a carrier responsibility. Have them check your account. Are you seeing any error messages?

  • IPhone User Cannot Logon

I am trying to enable iPhone access to a certain user.  The user has already been granted with Iphone_Access global privilege.  But the user is still not able to login via mobile.  Username and password has been checked multiple times already.  Enabling iphone=debug in dynamic trace shows:
    ERROR 2014-03-03 05:50:56,123 Asia/Shanghai [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_31] com.redwood.scheduler.iphone.servlet.IPhoneHandler - Error during login for user: USERNAME
    com.redwood.scheduler.security.api.LoginException: Not logged in
"Not Logged In" is not much help on where the problem is.  Has anyone encountered this problem before?  Any leads?

    Hi Gerben,
I think i was able to determine the issue already.  Using the iphone=debug trace, I noticed that it shows the password in plain text.  In that trace file I can see that the password contains a special character "@" (at sign).  This is causing the login to fail.
I believe this uncovered 3 defects:
password are shown in plain text in the stdout of iphone=debug
password with "@" sign are not properly handled
newly created users that are logging in for the first time in iPhone (and has never logged on via PC web browser) will encounter issues which is revealed in the stdout file as:
    Caused by: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.NestedSAXParserException: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XMLParser: Bad Attribute value: ' or " expected!(:main:, row:5, col:18)(:main:, row=5, col=18) -> com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XMLParser: Bad Attribute value: ' or " expected!(:main:, row:5, col:18)

Do you happen to have a test system where you can also see if this is happening on your end?  I just want to isolate that this is version related.
    Thank you!

  • Android users cannot receive text from iPhone users fix help

I currently switched from an iPhone to an Android phone and now all my friends who use an iPhone cannot send messages to me. I talked to a representative for Apple and they said that my friends had to delete my contact and then re make it so they could send messages to me. ıs there a quicker fix to it, I already turned off iMessage on my iPhone but it still doesn't work and does anyone know if they plan on fixing it.

Your friends have to delete any old conversations they had started with you when you had an iPhone, and the new conversations should go out normally as text message.
This assumes that you actually did disable iMessage prior to switching to Android.    You can confirm by asking anyone you know with an iPhone that doesn't have you as a contact to try sending you a text.

  • IPhone 4 - cannot call or text

My iPhone 4 suddenly stopped being able to make calls or send texts. I was able to perform these functions no less than 30 minutes ago in a location close to my apartment, but now that I'm home, these functions don't seem to be working anymore.
I've tried rebooting the phone several times, switching the WiFi network on and off, and also tried all of Apple's suggestions in the Troubleshooting section regarding this issue -- but nothing seems to work!
Does anyone have any suggestions?  Any help would really be appreciated!

Calls and texts (not imessage) are a carrier function.  Do you have a good signal from your carrier in your house ?

  • How to tell if iphone user is secretly using the iphone

Ipbone usage --  if somebody was sneaking and hiding what they were doing on their phone ie -- instant message thru email vs phone call or text message which will record on phone bill, or using other apps or ? what ever means one could sneak around with-- would it be obvious in the iphones diagnostic and usage dATA ???? by looking at the history would there be a way to dicepher or would it more likely be some jigsaw puzzle ?

Put a passcode on it and don't give the passcode to anyone. Then you will know that no one is using the phone. If the phone in question is not yours, then whether they are using it secretly or openly is probably outside of your control.

  • TS1363 iphone connectivity cannot be established. Iphone not recognized

When I plug in my iphone to the computer, I get a message that says it is not recognized

Update: Ok, I have been playing around with this for quite some time now and have come to a few conclusions.
First, it appears that this is being caused (at least for me) by corrupt files in my iTunes library. My iPod (30 GB, 5G) syncs with my complete library but my iPhone only syncs with 1 playlist. So I completely wiped all music from my iPhone and started to re-sync one album at a time (extremely time-consuming). I got through the letters 'A' and 'B' ok but when I got to the 'C's, boom, error message.
At this point, I opened the playlist in iTunes and deleted the last album I dragged into it. Then I disconnected my iPhone, re-connected it and did another sync, thereby deleting that last album off the iPhone. Then I added the next album and re-synced again and everything went smoothly. So now I am up to the letter 'G' but this process is painstakingly slow.
Now obviously it was most likely only one song in each of these "bad" albums that was corrupt but I didn't want to go song-by-song just yet.
Based on the fact that I used CopyTrans to rescue my library off my iPod after a hard drive crash, my first assumption is that this process somehow corrupted several files while loading them back into my newly installed version of iTunes. The only thing I can't figure out is, if this is actually the case, why have I not had the same problem syncing my iPod. It has been syncing perfectly, both before and after the hard drive crash/recovery?
What I need to find is a way to identify ALL of the corrupt files (if this is in fact what is causing the problem) quicker than copying to the playlist then syncing to the iPhone. Does anyone know of any software out there that can be used for this purpose? It doesn't have to be free either as, like CopyTrans, I don't mind paying for something that works. Of course, the jury is still out on that one.!

  • Most iPhone user's cannot receive text from me and my NEW Note 4

I chose to try the pre-installed +Messenger app from Verizon to be used rather than the fuctional default messenger. It wasn't what I expected so I switched back to the original message app. Well, that's when the issue's began with most of my contacts who use Iphone's.
I would send text to iPhone user's with no delivered confirmation text being returned as a notification. So I called them and they said they didn't receive a text. I realized the problem was a conflict with going back to the original messaging app/software.
Went to the Verizon store where I purchased the phone three times! The first salesman told me to have the iPhone user's to go into their text settings and turn on "Send MMS". That didn't resolve the issue. The second salesman called tech support and fixed the problem. Although I didn't know  was done but, it was apparently a temporary fixed because it continued to happen
The 3rd salesman had to reset to factory settings and disabled/removed the +Messenger app from Verizon.
Still experiencing this stressful issue with my Note4.
    PLEASE HELP ME!
    I_chingon

Sorry to hear that! I tend to use the default Messages app more than anything else too.
I'm curious about your issue because you said "most iPhone users..." That can make the situation a little bit tricky, but it can also be used to your advantage, because if you compare the messaging/cellular settings on one iPhone that works and one that doesn't, you will likely find your resolution. I'd suggest looking at an iPhone that doesn't receive your messages and try to make the settings match the settings of an iPhone that successfully receives your texts.
Since it only happens with iPhone users the problem is likely not on your end; it's more than likely an issue with iMessage on the recipients' phone, but you can certainly try to deactivate your iMessage account (if you have one). Deregister and Turn Off iMessage - Apple Support. Bear in mind that this tool is usually used to solve issues that are the opposite of yours (iPhone users cannot send texts to you).

  • Former iPhone User & Possible iMessage Problems - Textmessage Issue

I have been an iPhone user since the 2G, so about 10 years. In fact, everyone in my family uses iPhones. Even when I decided to change, my
family members remained devoted iPhone users. I loved my iPhone, but in time I realized Apple fostered this cool-kid-lunch-table culture, and I didn’t want to help promote that belief/behavior. The last straw for me was having to play Apple’s upgrade game where little to no innovation would occur.
I had been waiting for a new iPhone since my brand new iPhone 5 got stolen. This should be noted, I did not receive any support from Apple in
the aftermath of that incident. I repeatedly went to the Genius Bar near my apartment, but it was useless. I was told your “Lost” mode or whatever was impervious. (By the way, I spent the next couple of months telling at&t to stop sending me bills for calls being made to Russia on that iPhone.) I ended up using the 4S for almost two more years. Given Planned Obsolescence (to be fair, all the smart devices do that (in theory all consumer goods)), those two years were grim. (i.e. phone interviews for a job were next to impossible)
Thus, when I was eligible for an update, I got the Nokia Lumia 1020. Apple’s smart, it ended up hiring Ari Partinen, the guy who designed and help implement a huge selling point of the device, the 41 megapixel camera. Much like the 2G, theNokia Lumia 1020 has problems. Companies cannot (or in some instances, will not) innovate and (truly) improve their products without demand andcompetition. (i.e. The fourth (or the fifth) generation of Apple tablets started coming out with Pages after the very first Windows’ tablet came with MSOffice during the first year's use). Thus, I had to forgo the Nokia Lumia 1020 on the whole because the demand to improve the product is not there like it was for the 2G.
Given the circumstances, at&t suggested I get a different smartphone, I asked to go back to the iPhone, but I was told I could not due to
some sort of prevision in Apple’s contract. Something along the lines of – "You should have chosen the iPhone during your upgrade." I was randomly sent an Android  device, and told this is the best thing I’m getting. Take it or leave it.
To add, one of my problems will mostly likely rollover to the Android phone . For some unknown reason, I stopped receiving group texts (from iphone users), which is mostly likely an imessage problem. It is probably an imessage problem because I experienced it when I first switchedto a non-apple device (three months ago, with the Lumia 1020).
As such, I signed into my apple account on their support site, to unregister my devices (again). I (thought) deleted everything three months ago, but it looks like thestolen iPhone 5 is on there.
Is Apple literally FORCING me back to them (while simultaneously, barring me from accessing
    their product)?
At this point, I am too exhausted (and have to get back to my responsibilities), please figure something out with messages being sent via wifi (aka: imessage).
PS. Forgive the editing errors, formatting problems wouldn't allow me to resolve them. ....Apple, go listen to some Echosmith. The cool kid culture needs to be improved. You are capable of making the needed improvements.

Thanks Helen for the response. At least you can get some of the contacts to work. Absolutely none of mine will. Feel like my phone is cheating me out something it should do. Think I'm going to just have to dump all the Apple products in general because this phone hasn't worked right since I got it.
