"Rogue" folder appears on opening DW

When I open the site I'm working on in Dreamweaver, a folder
immediately
opens called "untitledFrames-1".
It looks for links that don't - or no longer exist. It looks
like an old
frames page from a site I did in Front Page years ago and I
can't get rid of
it. I can't find the file anywhere and I'm not sure how it
got into this
site. I've tried everything I know how to do to delete it but
it always
returns. Anybody with advice here? I'm getting ready to put
the site on the
web but can't with this thing hanging around. I'm using DW 8
and Windows XP.

It is normal, Dreamweaver is a snail-slow FTP program.
But after a while, the message should change and you should
see your remote files appear in the
remote files side. No?

In System Prefereneces, when I am in Desktop and Screen Saver, I am unable to remove folders. I can click the "-" and the folder appears to be gone, but when I close and then reopen System Preferences, and open Desktop and Screen Saver, the folder reappears in the list. I have tried deleting preferences "plist" but I am totally unable to remove the folders.

I've seen one other report like yours, and I think the issue is caused by a bug, but I don't know what triggers it.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

E75: An unknown folder appearing in the opening ds...

On the opening display, an unnamed and unknown empty, yellow folder appears first installation between the internet and the mode folders. No way to get rid of this, not even in the PC suite, where it cannot be found. Another mysterious folder named {eede788c-2956-11db-962d-00e08161165f}Relocated shows up in the phone browser folder lists, and can also be seen in the PC suite. What is this? A virus?

It sounds like the phones software has been corrupted.
Try running the nokia software updater to see if it cures it.
Backup everthing you want to keep then download and install the nokia software updater:

If this doesn't fix it then you will need to visit a nokia care point.

Post income crashes when "waiting to update this folder" appears in the outlook mailbox (outlook 2007) We have already done the basic troubleshooting of remove the cached exchange mode, this does not resolve the problem. Also we have tried following

Hi,
The Event Viewer can be a great help to determine the root cause of an issue or to find new leads in case regular troubleshooting of Outlook didn’t bring any results.
Open the Event Viewer:
Press Win + R and type “eventvwr” in the blank box, then press Enter.
You may find the Error Entries for Outlook, also Event ID, text description after the crash happens, post the information in the forum and maybe we can find something useful to find the root cause.

Applications folder appears opaque

DoubleClick MacHD icon. Applications folder appears opaque. Doesn't opne. Sidebar Applictaions icon doesn't open. Applications only available via GO drop down menu.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Drag drop photo import to aperture folder why auto new project folder appear .

i do import photos from desktop to folder that i want in the aperture libary . as soon as i drag and drop photos automatically new peoject folder appear in the libabry as name untitled project.. why? i dont want that new project folder. i try to delete that folder and my picture all automatically deleted from library.
also if i try to delete photos from preject folder .. it completely deleted from master library .. picture will be lost.. why?
i drag and move pictures to brand new album or folder .. then try to delete wanted project folder - master picture are all gone.
now i have at least 30-40 of untitled project folder in the library ... pictrure are not movable i meant you can move but u still have to keep old project folder to avoid master picture can not be deleted ...
someone help me? did i make myself clear?

You might read the manual or the Help as this is all covered there.
If you want to import to a specific project use the File -> Import option. You can select your destination there.
Every photo in a Library is in a project. Projects are the basic building block of the Library. That's why.
Folders don't contain photos. They can contain Projects or Albums. These contain photos. Albums don't contain the actual photos, just links to them. So if you add a photo to an Album and then delete the project... you delete the photo.
Remember: you don't move photos to an Album, you add them.

The time to create a backup is before a catastrophe. After a catastrophe, it's too late.

Few customer invoices are appearing in open as well as cleared items.

when I am running FBL5N for a particular customer, few line items are coming as open as well as cleared items.
Please suggest how to overcome from this.

Once it cleared, then it will not appear in open item. This will happen only for partial payment even though we cleared. For that particular invoice, we done partially 2,3 times and cleared, in that payment doc any one doc containing future date. So that you should give the date which having future date in fbl5n.
For example: Invoice date 10.12.2011, payment done(posting date) 11.12.2011,12.12.2011,.....20.12.2011
But whenever checking in fbl5n, we always check with current date. Invoice is cleared. so that it will show cleared item, but according the current date its open only. So that it will show open item also. If you are changing into final date with reference of payment doc, then it will not appear in open item

This problem appears after opening 4 a 5 files, rebooting helps another 4 a 5 times and appears again.

I'd recommend reposting in the Boot Camp forum, that is where the Boot Camp and Windows gurus hang out.

How do I restrict certain plans from appearing during Open Enrollment?

We have 15 benefit plans for which all employees are eligible. We do not want to change the groupings or settings for our Open Enrollment period but would like to restrict the plans that appear for Open Enrollment so that only 12 out of the 15 plans are displayed and available to employees in ESS. Can this be done? I know I can restrict which plans are available when using IT0378 Adjustment Reasons but cannot find a way to restrict the list for Open Enrollment. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had that exact same delima, but one of our consultants pointed us to the transaction: HRBEN00ADJRSN
This is a mass load of adjustment reasons. You just need to feed the program the total time allowed for adjustments and things like start of records date and end of records date. Because of the dates and the potential for different plans to have different dates, we actually have two open enrollment adjustment reasons. We have one for Flexible spending where I give the 1/1 begin date and a 12/31 end date since it is only effective for the year in question. Then we have our main open enrollment for all other plans where the begin date is 1/1 of the new year and 12/31/9999 for the endda. I then run the HRBEN00ADJRSN twice for the population: once for the flex enrollment, and then again for the main open enrollment adjustment reason.

Working in Pages a folder with the Pages icon in a folder appeared on my desktop I cannot move it delete it do anything to it. Any idea what it might be? Thank you.

Restart Finder by pressing option + command + Esc. Select Finder int he window that pops up and click on the Start/restart button.
You could also try deleting the com.apple.finder.plist file from Users > your name > Library > Preferences
Restarting the computer in safe mode , press the Shift key just after you heard the start chime. Keep it pressed until you see the grey apple. See if the folder is gone or can be moved.

Moving a bookmarks to a different folder -- block 'spring-open' behavior?

When I'm doing a cleanup of my bookmarks window, I often want to quickly move numerous recently captured bookmarks collected in a " • New bookmarks" folder at the top of the window to one or another of the many topical folders further down in the window.
Each time I drag a recently captured link down to one of these folders, no matter how quickly I try to drop it on the folder, the folder almost always seems to snap open -- which in turn can push all the other lower folders down and off the bottom of the window.
Any way to drag a link (or folder) onto another folder and have it be moved to that folder **without the target folder opening**?
[This problem didn't occur in Netscape because there was a substantial delay before the target folder would open (although it would eventually open if you wanted it to)]

Welcome to Apple Discussions
Target folder will always open. That's the way it was designed. To completely avoid it, save the link via the Bookmarks menu.
Otherwise, the "trick" to avoid the rapid spring-action occurring with folders other than the target is to drag the URL over the left side (collections) of the Bookmarks Manager until you arrive at the target folder. If a folder inadvertently opens, then move the URL a bit more to the left until the folder closes.

How do I set the default folder for file - open file... ?

When I save a file, photo, etc., the default folder for OPENING a file becomes the last folder I SAVED to - even after closing and reopening Firefox. Is there a way to maintain the same default folder for opening files?

GL account cleared but appears as open in FBL3N

Hello all,
I ran the FX reval for an Open Item managed GL account and then ran the Auto clear program for it. When I check the GL line item report, the clearing document has been created and the balance is infact 0 however, it is appearing as open items.
I checked the OB74 setting, the GL account has been set up as OI managed. The weird part is that there is a clearing document created and when I checked the header, it was created via the autoclear program SAPF124. The ony thng is that the clearing date has been posted as a future date (09.01.2011). Can anyone help me with this please?

What is the clearing date of the program SAPF124?
You might be activated Date from most recent documents, so the program will take the date from recent docuemnt.
In that way there is possiblity of your scenario.
