Rogue Process - custom notification for users?
Does ZEN 7 Rogue Process Management have the ability to customize the message the user receives when it kills the rogue process?
I know AD GPO have this, but was wondering if ZEN 7 Rogue Process Mgmt did as well.
IF not, then we'll have to use GPO.

It will certainly make the software unsupported, but any software
vendor would have a hard time making a case against anyone doing such

Thus, I would argue against using a resource editor because a vendor

Xelsysadm has a valid email id. Now when I am reconciling any user, two mail notifications are being sent. Not able to know from where these two notifications are being triggered.
Am i suppose to make any changes in the configurations?

I believe there are two notifications because you have added your notify task in the process definition and OIM OOTB sends a notification when a user is recon'd. Thus remove your task or disable the OOTB notification. The property is Recon.SEND_NOTIFICATION

Whether the user has an email attribute in AD?
And when a user exceed the quota, the owner of the affected folder should be the user. Please check if is the cause.
Meanwhile FSRM should provide an error regarding the issue. If we still cannot find the cause please let us know the exact error.

OIM 10g : SQL Script to Delete or Cancel process instance tasks for user resources
Hello,
I have users with a resource with a process instance that have a large number (1000) of task instance related to reconciliations (Reconciliation Update Received).
And when trying to revoke this resource, OIM take a long time to perfom this job, it is due to the fact that all this taks are canceled one by one...
My question is : I want to perform manualy using a script this cancel of all this tasks, or maybe better, delete all this tasks when there'are too many, can someone provide me this sql scripts.

Custom Workflow for User Requirment
hi ,
i am creating a workflow for which is custom .
i have 1 module pool program where i have 7 fields.
User can create the data and save it .
once he save the Data the workflow should trigger.
i have created a Z business object wherein i have created 4 key fields and 3 attributes according to data in the custom table
the BO has no supertype. and created 1 event save
now my question is where should i write the code for triggering the workflow on the save of the entries in the module pool program. and i am also i am responsible for showing the approver in the table after the decision is taken in workflow activtiy
please suggest

You may look into the NAC Guest Server for advanced features with guest users. Be aware that it's not tied to NAC necessarily. Not sure why they put "NAC" in the product name :-) -
Customizing form for user submitted content {tag_edit}
Hi,,
I have a Webapp with a few custom fields which can be filled by logged-in customers. These customers see all their submitted items on a certain webpage with two links: Edit and Delete. The tags {tag_delete} and {tag_edit} are connected to the links. The delete tag just deletes the item, but the edit tag leads to another page, where the customer can edit the webapp by editing form fields.
Problem: at this certain page, the form just shows the item name and item description, but no other fields to edit. How can I customize this form to show all fields, so the customer can edit them?

Ringtones/mp3s should be placed in your Ringtones, Notifications, or Alarms folders, depending on how you want to use them.

Using custom notification for email????
I have notice one thing or just overlooked it but I can not for the life of me find a way to change the alert sound for email notification, do anyone care to enlighten me on where this option is?

Wildman if your T-bolt is like my Droid Incredible. in setting it up. an this might sound weired but when i set my Notication Tone for My Yahoo Account i had to go in to the sound settings to set a Notification Ring Tone.
Now on Gmail i just went into Gmail > More > Settings > checked an enabled the Notifications an selected the Ringtone -
Dynamically Change Custom Actions for User Task
Is there a way to dynamically change the custom actions associated with a user task on the fly? We would like to change the action options available to the user based on the state of the task. Thanks in advance.

We are using field BUS_REASON "Business Partners", We changed label for data element but is not showed in TRIP transaction we can see it in PR05 transaction.
How can I change labels for TRIP transacction?

Downloadable ACL for users only?
Hello all,
in ACS 5.4 I need customized ACL for users only.
My scenario:
There is a way to use some "Downloadable ACLs" in authorization profile but I want to define specific ACLs for some exeptions. For example: User A and user B get autorization profile "X". But user B is not allowed to access on a host. This "Deny rule" I will configure with custom attributes in the internal user store.
Is that possible? How can I implement this rule?

You can do this by following these steps:
1. Set a user defined dictionary attribute under System Administration > Dictionary > Identity >Internal Users name it what you want and make sure the value is string
2. Create the DACL in Named Permission Objects under the policy elements section
3. Under the user account you will now see a filed for the dictionary name you called in step 1, make sure the filed matches the dacl you created in step 2
4. Create your authorization profile under "common tasks" Set Dynamic as the DACL drop down select Internal Users and set the value to the attribute you created in step1.
5 map the authorization policy to the access policy using the conditions that will give you these results.
6. test and you should have what you are looking for.
