Role of domain.cfg file?
hi guys,
any one explain me the role of domain.cfg file in the common transport directory (usr/sap/trans)
and
what is the diffrence between domain.cfg and tpparam file which contains the list of the systems in the transport domain?
When a transport domain controller is first created, the TMS generates:
ü A transport domain and a transport group
ü User TMSADM
ü The RFC destinations required for the TMS
ü File DOMAIN.CFG in directory bin of the common transport directory, for storing the above TMS configuration
tp progeam uses a parameter file TPPARAM located in the bin directory that difines many mportant parameters that directly affect the way tp works for performing export or imports.

FILE /usr/sap/trans/bin/DOMAIN.CFG could not be created
Hi
After a DB copy into the QAS system the TMS will not connect to QAS. I set the CHGR3SHLOC to the domain controller and ran SE06 to delete and reset the TMS as DDIC in client 000.
When I run TMS on the QAS box and try to include QAS in the DOMAIN_DEV I get the message
FILE /usr/sap/trans/bin/DOMAIN.CFG could not be created.
I have all the QAS accounts on the TMS domain controller and they have the same password on both systems.
Any one else had this one? Its v5r3 and 4.6c releases.
Thanks
Matt Milne
Freelance SAP BASIS ConsultantHi Matt,
I'm pretty sure, you are missing one:
sidnn ...
Change this user on QAS so that you can logon and logon and try to edit the following file:
edtf '/usr/sap/trans/bin/test.txt'
I guess, you run into the same issue ... that needs to be fixed first ... most likely the wrong password for this user (default: sapNNpwd)

Stop emails going out to external mail domains in xdodelivery.cfg file
Hi All,
DB:11.1.0.7.0
Oracle Apps:12.1.1
O/S: Redhat Linux 64 bits
Is there a way to stop emails going out to external mail domains in xdodelivery.cfg file located at $XDO_TOP/resource
Currently we are converting all suppliers with their real email ids. Is there a way to stop emails going out to external mail domains? This issue will arise as soon as someone run the payments and then vendor will automatically start receiving the emails from our test environment.
I think XDO Bursting (Delivery) is using a separate mailer (not the standard Java mailer configuration).
xdodelivery.cfg file contents:
But for XDO bursting, we have setup separate outbound (SMTP) mailer as per requested, which is currently not have “TEST Address” set and not sure there is option to set here.

The Domains.site2 file transferred from another mac won't open in iweb
Just transfered a Domains.site2 file from one mac to another in the applications support/iweb folder. But when I open iweb I get the error: can't read Domains.site2 file. Any thoughts on why this might be? It's a large file - over 2 gigs, transferred from an iMac running OX 10.5 to a macbook running OX 10.6
Thanks!Try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
Click to view full size
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.

Hi Guys
I need to add a digital certificate to a clients customer statements and invoices. XML Publisher 5.6.3 has been used originally to design the templates as RTF. I have the following questions please...
1. Can an RTF template be used or do I need to convert it to a pdf template?
2. Can XML publisher even be used or do I need to get the DBAs to install BI Publisher. XML Publisher doesn't even have the signature properties in the admin screens that BI Publisher has.

Is there a way to edit the saved StartCfg.cfg file on a Linksys SRW switch?
I have a SRW248G4 switch that I want to edit the StartCfg.cfg file to use as a template for several new switches. The content of the startcfg.cfg file looks to be binary or mostly binary. Is there a way to get the switch to save and load the file in text format similar to the Cisco switches?
An alternate option is to create a templete config on one of the new switches with all the standard settings, save it, upload that template config to the other new switches and change the things that are different/unique from the web interface. This is possible but will take a lot longer.
Thanks,
Kerry Melcher, CCNPYou cannot edit the library file itself, but you could perhaps edit the XLM file and then import that, basically following the procedure you use when the library file has been damaged:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
You'll need to be very careful about editing the XML, though, as it's really easy to completely mess up your library if you edit the wrong thing. Make absolutely sure you have backup copies of the original iTunes library file and XML file, so you can put them back just in case something does go wrong.
Hope this helps. -
I have read other discussions and my problem persists.
I note that duplicating the domain file user/library/applications support/iweb/domain.sites2 gives me files of varying sizes (I'm at around 200Mb).
I tried rebuilding the cache ../library/caches/com.apple.iweb - no change
I found a note to delete also a preference file ../library/prefernces/com.apple.iweb bt found more than one (.../plist and .../plist.lockfile) so ducked that.
The website seems to update out of sync - as if I have a domain file elsewhere (in the cloud?) that is saving on my drive later - that doesn't make sense of the comments I have read. My domain.sites2 file is stadily growing - so one interpretation is that files are being saved and the error message is the error.
This has been a problem for about a year as I have tried many alternative solutions. I;m looking fro somethign substantially different.
One repeated situation is that I write a new page and upload it. I get the usual error message. I visit the site and there is the new page. My domain (on my machine) shows no new work, so I copy the stuff on the web back to my domain and steadily the file increases in size. Bewildering.
Everything is as up to date as it can be. I don't reboot very often as my machine is rarley off.
I'm looking for different ideas and approaches.....Although some of the following will be a repeat but try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

Load XML file from addon domain without cross-domain Policy file
Hello.
Assuming that there are two addon domains on the same server: /public_html/domain1.com and /public_html/domain2.com
I try to load XML file from domain2.com into domain1.com without using cross-domain policy file (since it doesn’t work on xml files in my case).
So the idea is to use php file in order to load XML and read it back to flash.
I’ve found an interesting scripts that seems to do the job but unfortunately I can't get it to work. In my opinion there is somewhere problem with AS3 part. Please take a look.
Here are the AS3/PHP scripts:
AS3 (.swf in www.domain1.com):
// location of the xml that you would like to load, full http address
var xmlLoc:String = "http://www.domain2.com/MyFile.xml";
// location of the php xml grabber file, in relation to the .swf
var phpLoc:String = "loadXML.php";
var xml:XML;
var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(phpLoc+"?location="+escape(xmlLoc) );
loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onXMLLoaded);
loader.addEventListener(IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, onIOErrorHandler);
loader.load(request);
function onIOErrorHandler(e:IOErrorEvent):void {
trace("There was an error with the xml file "+e);
function onXMLLoaded(e:Event):void {
trace("the rss feed has been loaded");
xml = new XML(loader.data);
// set to string, since it is passed back from php as an object
xml = XML(xml.toString());
xml_txt.text = xml;
PHP (loadXML.php in www.domain1.com):
<?php
header("Content-type: text/xml");
$location = "";
if(isset($_GET["location"])) {
$location = $_GET["location"];
$location = urldecode($location);
$xml_string = getData($location);
// pass the url encoded vars back to Flash
echo $xml_string;
//cURLs a URL and returns it
function getData($query) {
// create curl resource
$ch = curl_init();
// cURL url
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $query);
//Set some necessary params for using CURL
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
//Execute the curl function, and decode the returned JSON data
$result = curl_exec($ch);
return $result;
// close curl resource to free up system resources
curl_close($ch);
?>I think you might be right about permissions/settings on the server for php. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to adjust them.
So I wrote my own script - this time I used file path instead of http address of the XML file. It works fine in my case.
Here it is:
XML file on domain2.com:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<gallery>
<image imagePath="galleries/gallery_1/images/1.jpg" thumbPath="galleries/gallery_1/thumbs/1.jpg" file_name= "1"> </image>
<image imagePath="galleries/gallery_1/images/2.jpg" thumbPath="galleries/gallery_1/thumbs/2.jpg" file_name= "2"> </image>
<image imagePath="galleries/gallery_1/images/3.jpg" thumbPath="galleries/gallery_1/thumbs/3.jpg" file_name= "3"> </image>
</gallery>
swf on domain1.com:
var imagesXML:XML;
var variables:URLVariables = new URLVariables();
var varURL:URLRequest = new URLRequest("MyPHPfile.php");
varURL.method = URLRequestMethod.POST;
varURL.data = variables;
var MyLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader;
MyLoader.dataFormat =URLLoaderDataFormat.VARIABLES;
MyLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, XMLDone);
MyLoader.load(varURL);
function XMLDone(event:Event):void {
var imported_XML:Object = event.target.data.imported_XML;
imagesXML = new XML(imported_XML);
MyTextfield_1.text = imagesXML;
MyTextfield_2.text = imagesXML.image[0].attribute("thumbPath"); // sample reference to attribute "thumbPath" of the first element
php file on domain1.com:
<?php
$xml_file = simplexml_load_file('../../domain2.com/galleries/gallery_1/MyXMLfile.xml'); // directory to XML file on the same server
$imported_XML = $xml_file->asXML();
print "imported_XML=" . $imported_XML;
?>
Regards
PS: for those who read the above discussion: the first and the second script work but you must test which one is better in your situation. The first script will also work between two domains on different servers. No cross domain policy file needed. -
Why mozilla.cfg file is not working with Firefox 21
<pre><nowiki>//@line 2 "e:\builds\moz2_slave\rel-m-rel-w32-bld\build\browser\app\profile\channel-prefs.js"
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage","https://www.mytest.com");

lockpref("extensions.checkCompatibility.nightly", false);</nowiki></pre>user_pref doesn't work in mozilla.cfg<br />
Also the proper name of the function is lockPref() and not lockpref().
See:
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences
These functions can be used in the mozilla.cfg file:
defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes -
Windows 8.1 Update and the EI.cfg file
Hi
I have noticed that, installing Windows 8.1 Update Core or Pro with the Multiple Editions MSDN iso, I see, with the slmgr.vbs /dli command, that its distribution channel is Retail. If, however, I add the EI.cfg file
[Channel]
Retail
[VL]
0
in sources directory of the iso using Windows ADK for Windows 8.1 Update, the distribution channel becomes Volume. How come?
Where am I wrong?
Thanks
Bye
BalubetoSince the Windows Update 8.1 Update (Multiple Editions) MSDN iso includes the retail editions of the Core and Professional, how I should do to change this iso so that, during the installation, allow me to choose which edition to install?
In addition, I would include in this iso my two serial numbers of installation (one for the Core and the other for the Professional) so that I should not insert any serial number during installation.
So, what should I do to reach my goal?
Thanks

We call the working directory as context, so inside the context root along with WEB-INF, maintain a folder with name img and put all the images in that directory.
You can use either .\<image_folder> or the optimum way would be (if you are using JSPs) to use getContext() method and traverse accordingly.
FYI,,, using getContext() will give you context root directory, from there it is as simple as accessing any other folder.
Hope this answers your question.

I want to open a domain.site2 file outside the default folder (User/Library/Application Support/iWeb) with iWeb11, but iWeb only opens the domain file in the default folder. If I delete the default domain file, iWeb wants to create a new site. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?
In Lion the Finder folder is now invisible. To make it permanetely visible enter the following in the Terminal applicaiton window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an applicaiton.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1
tell application "iWeb" to activate

Unable to Open .cfg file in NVRAM or Flash in Cisco GNS3 Router

Can't Open the domain.sites2 file I Want To!
I'm tearing my hair out here!
I had multiple websites within iweb 08, but using it as more of a publishing facility and creating graphic adverts and stuff. Then I decided to make a website, which is where it all went to pot.
I hadn't realised that the domain.sites2 file contained all the information for the multiple sites.
What happened:
I downloaded iwebsites to separate sites and once managed to upload the website I wanted to publish to my .mac account. Then I successfully retrieved the old websites again fine.
When I tried this process again, everything was lost other than the published site. I had a back up of the domain.sites2 file on an external hard drive which I am now trying to get to open in iweb! And it won't.
I have gone through the process of deleting the iweb preferences and opening a blank site, saving it and replacing it with the old domains file with the content I want to open, but it always reverts to a new site (asking me to pick a template) or the last saved 'test' site.
I really don't want to lose everything I have been working on for the last 2 years! Does anyone have any ideas why the domain file I want to open isn't showing the correct content?
I would appreciate any help! ThanksYep I've tried that but it reverts back to the last saved test site. When I look at the package contents the pics and other items from all my sites are there but will not open as before!

Overwriting vm.cfg file
Hallo,
I'm using direct disk access for a couple of VM, because it seems that the performance is quite better. I test it with Oracle 11g and I had about 15-20% better performance with DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.CALIBRATE_IO. So I edit the vm.cfg file with the stanza phy:/dev.... . This works quite well, but from time to time the vm.cfg file seems to be overwritten (maybe ovs-agent). After that the stanza for the direct access is deleted, and it is aligned with the entries in OV Manager.
Is there a way to prevent this.
Reg.
ReneReneV wrote:
Is there a way to prevent this.What version of Oracle VM are you running? This shouldn't happen any more with Oracle VM 2.1.5 and in 2.2, we've added the ability to add physical multipath devices as Shared Virtual Disks. This same mechanism can be used to add physical devices to a single guest (just ignore the "shared" part). This requires the devices to be exposed as /dev/mapper or /dev/mpath devices. You'll be able to import the disks in Oracle VM Manager under the "Resources" -> "Shared Virtual Disks" -> "Import" option. Once you import a multipath device, you can visit a particular guest's storage tab to enable it.

hi, I'm currently a PSE6 user and after upgrading from PSE5 to 6, I do not use its Organizer for a very specific reason: In PSE5, I used Collections extensively, especially to combine photos from various events (Stacks) to create VCDs and slideshows.
