Role/query not visible in analyzer urgent

Hi,
In my case User "A" has activated all the business content queries. Now this user created user B with authorization to see only few queries under a selected infoarea.. but user B cannot see them.he also cannot see the roles when i open analyzer. Is it that queries are activated by user A so user B cannot see them?? IF that is the case how can i make user B able to see queries??

I dont think that should be the case, but to check just give User B the same authorization as User A and see if he is able to see the queries.  If so, then you will need to fix the authorizations accordingly.
Does User B see the InfoCubes or the DSOs on which the queries are built ?   Try using the Authorization trace to pinpoint the problem.

    We have upgraged Portal (Nw 2004s) SP17 to SP18 ,But after upgradation portal roles are not visible for users and Portal adminstors (J2EE_ADMIN ) also.
    Standard roles like System ,user and Content Admin roles also not visible.It shows only blank screen after login to portal.
    It is critial issue .Please suggest how to solve this issue.

    Make sure there are no errors in the browser in the bottom left hand corner. Also, are you using a fully wualified name to access the portal? When you were on SP17 were you using standard roles or did you make your own copy of the roles and assign your users to the copied roles?
    If you navigate to the portal content studio directly, can you see the role contents?
    After launching /useradmin and authenticating, paste http://host:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtmode/preview/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fadministrator!2fcontent_admin!2fcontent_admin_role!2fcom.sap.portal.content_admin_ws!2fcom.sap.portal.portal_content?sap-config-mode=true into your browser and you are in the content studio.

  • Query not visible in Prod,

    Hi all
    I have created 5 queries in Dev and transported to Quality and then to production
    In Quality i was able to see all the Queries under that Infocube
    But once they are moved to prod i was not able to see them.
    For trail i tried creating the same query in prod with the same name, it says like Query Name already exists.
    but go and search for that to open its not visible.
    can anyone say what could be the wrong

    Do you have the same authorizations in Prod as in Dev and Quality ?
    Maybe you don't have the necessary rights to see or modify an existing query.
    It seems that your query already exists in Prod, but check it anyway in table RSZCOMPDIR.
    Put the technical name of your query in the field COMPID.
    You will see if it is active.

  • Query not showing any data-urgent

    hi experts
    i ma facing this problem: i have created an ISH (services) infocube which i have loaded with data, when i do a 'display data' on my cube i can properly see the data, when i open the query designer or analyser though, even when designing the simplest of queries ie just a service and its billed quantity and value i get a 'No Applicable Data Found' message
    it is not a matter of authorization i have full priviledges and i also have 4 other cubes on which i can create reports on normally
    the data in my cube is available for reporting
    if anyone could suggest something it would be appreciated as i am working on a strict deadline

    Hi ,
    If your query is on multiprovider , then makesure to check there are no restrictions/filters on cubes.
    Also inlcude any keyfigure from the cube,where other characteristics are being assigned from or where u r seeing data, in the query.
    If you dont want to see the Keyfigure, u can hide it using keyfigure display properties in the query designer.

  • SAP InfoSet Query not visible in CR8

    Hi experts,
    I'm trying to display Sap Queries through Crystal Report 8.
    I can access the Infoset (User Group defined) and display reports on it.
    But when I try to access the InfoSet Queries, none appears.
    I give myself the users group for my specific InfoSet and for the templates Crystal.
    After that, When I'm in CR, I see both InfoSets (Specific and CR template), but unfortunately only templates queries are displayed.
    I've compared standard Query and mine, and I can't see any difference.
    I hope you can help me cause I didn't undestand where I am wrong.

    What do you mean by Options ?
    I see in connections, in folder Sap Infoset the nodes I and Q. I have my Infoset in the folder I --> G (global).
    But I have nothing in the folder Q --> G.
    That's why I don't understand where is the issue, I can see tables, infoset but not queries.

  • Query not Visible in Universe

    Hi Experts,
    I want to create a universe based on query.
    When I try to create the connection I am able to see all queries except for the ones I have created.
    I have checked the query for external use as well at BEx level.
    There are no roles maintained in this sandbox server.So no question about inserting my queries into specific roles as it is currently in my favourites.
    Am I missing some setting part somewhere?
    Please assist.

    You mean to say try to connect to SAP OLE server through my query using pivot table and connecting to external datasource?
    Or do you mean something else?

  • Query not showing any results - Urgent

    I am running a query on the project dates (0PS_C05), although there is data in the cube , the query says no applicable data found, although there is no filter for the object ( Origin - 0DATE_SRCE ) in the query definition , but when the query is run , It is shown as filtered by value 1, can there be any hidden filters.

    Hi,
    Another way to check is to create a copy of the query. Now on the copied version, simply remove the keyfigures/chars one by one as you execute the query.
    One way or the other, you will see the culprit filter in your query...

  • Track not visible in CMS - urgent

    Hi ,
    I am working on EJB -Webdynpro Dc projects. My application is working on production server , but i am not able to view track in CMS. what may be cause of this problem?? I haven't deleted track from CMS , still is not shown in CMS.Also when i am logging to DTR in Netweaver studio i am getting message "There is no build space with identifier APPL2(track name)" How can i resolve this problem???

    Hi Kavitha,
    From the error message what you have posted "There is no build space with identifier APPL2" It looks like the track has been deleted from CMS.
    Because whenever you delete a track from CMS the corresponding build spaces also get deleted, but the DTR workspace have to be deleted manually.
    To me it looks like the track has got deleted.
    But additionally looking at the SCs in DTR you can recreate the track in CMS with the same name.That shud not be a problem.
    If you are still doubtful about the track deletion you can open a message as suggested by Pascal.

  • After BI 7.0 Upgrade, Authorization Roles and profiles are not visible

    Hi Gurus,
    We have an issue with authorization roles and profiles are not visible for all end users with new Bex Analyzer (BI 7.0) tool. But still they can see these roles with old Bex Analyzer ( Bex 3.5) tool.
    As a developer I have SAP_ALL acces and I can see all authorization roles in new BEx Analyzer (BI 7.0).
    I verified in SU01 for user access and every are assigned there roles and they are green.
    Do we need to add any new authorization object to fix this issue, please let me know

  • After BI 7.0 Upgrade, Roles and profiles are not visible

    Hi Gurus,
                                  We have issue with the roles and profiles, all our users doesnt see any roles or profiles in Bex Analyzer, under there user access after BI 7.0 Upgrade. 
                                   When I go and check there profile in SU01 and I can see all roles are assigned but not able to see in the Bex Analyzer reporting tool.
                                   Do we need to do any configuration settings after BI 7.0 upgrade to visible roles. This problem with every user.

                            Sorry for little bit late. I have all authorization roles access, and users dont have that access. Difference between our roles is I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW.
                            But when they login with old bex analyzer they can see all roles, but not with new bex analyzer.
                            Please some suggest me still I need to run SU25.

  • Data not visible in query output

    Hi Gurus
    I have a report which is being published at the portal but the data is not visible for it...now when i check the query for that report and try to run it. i still don't see any data..now on further analysis when i use the same filters used in the query on the multiprovider on which the query is created i can see the data and when i run the report in RSRT, i can  see the data...but don't know why its not visible when i execute the query or the report on the the portal....plz suggest..points will be awarded..

    Check the query with Bex Analyzer; If it give you the correct result then It might be configuration problem with your JAVA settings..
    Please try And also run Support Desk Tool
    (SAP Note 937697 ) to figure out the configuration Issues....

    We are using a two tier architecture.
    Our Corp server calls the refinery server.
    Our CORP MII server uses user id abc_user to connect to the refinery data server.
    The user id abc_user has the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role.
    The data server also has the checkbox for allow dynamic query enabled.
    But we are still getting the following error
    Error has occurred while processing data stream
    Dynamic Query role is not assigned to the Data Server; Use query template
    Once we add the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role to the data server everything works fine. Is this feature by design ?

    I thought that just adding the role to the user and enabling the dynamic query checkbox on the data server should work.
    But we even needed to add the role to the data server.

    I created one currency type conversion   Z_INR
    exchange rate type : M
    Exchange rate from infoobject : zexch_rate(key fig)
    source curr from data record
    Fixed target curr : INR
    Variable time reference  : A to Exact Day
    Special info object : Ztr_date (Transaction date)
    it got saved succesfully but wen i try to include  this in the query its not visible there . can anyone let me know why this problem is coming

    Create Currency conversion type using Trans: RRC1.
    1.Specify your Exchange rate type.                     
    2.Dynamic Exchange rate type
    3.Source curency from data rec.
    4.Fixed currency say USD.
    5.Select Variable Time reference "Start Month" and Special Info Object - 0calmonth
    Secondly In the key figure field to be converted in the query,   select properties - select the currency conversion key name .

  • Role based data visibility is not working in Round manager

    I am looking for role based data visibility in Syclo round manager application where technician will see the data which is assigned to his name only (not all the data)  I have created one custom role in SAP system and it's working fine .It's showing the below message :
    Now I want to implement the same in syclo round manager .So I went to the SAP configuration panel and set the same user role on the security setting in class handler .Z_SYCLO_RM_ROLE is the custom role which I mentioned earlier .I tried with different option in this tab but it's not working .
    Please let me know if I missed something to mention or is there any other process I need to follow .
