RoleEntityACL|Role Access List | no values, guest and authenticated not shown

All,
I enabled RoleEntityACL from configuration manager. Role access list field shows up, but when I type **, there are no values at all. Not even guest and authenticated, OOTB values.
I added UseEntitySecurity=true, I am able to see add Users and Groups when i type ** in the input field.
Any pointers here?

I need to see the guest and authenticated values by default after enabling the "RoleEntityACL". Am i missing something here. I have Roles text box enabled, but it is not giving any values even if type **, g or a.
If i get those values, i can go to configuration manager applet and then add more values.
However, I did all those u mentioned. Added a new role in ExternalRoleView, Published Schema and Schema Base. Restarted UCM server. But i see null results.
In General Configuration:
UseEntitySecurity=true
SpecialAuthGroups=TestGroup,Public
In Advanced Component Manager:
Enabled RoleEntityACL.
I am able to add users and groups(aliases) in the access control list at the folder level. but not any roles. Am i missing something here?

TS1567 My Ipod Classic appears in my computer when connected to my Windows 8 pc but when itunes starts it no longer appears and is not shown in Itunes also. Itunes appears to disconnect it from pc.

My Ipod Classic appears in My Computer when I connected it to my new Windows 8 pc. When Itunes starts my Ipod is no longer appears in My Computer and is not shown under Devices in Itunes. It appears that Itunes disconnects my Ipod from the pc. My Ipod still sync's up fine with Itunes on my old Windows XP pc.

This is most likely an issue with Apple's iOS Mail program's.
I think you are opening your modified PDF in Apple built-in PDF Preview. Apple's code does not properly draw the comments, but if you look at the PDF in virtually any other PDF application that isn't just using Apple''s code, or on any desktop computer, you will see the comments you've added.

Bex. Query in 3.5 : All Variable values using Text Elements not shown

I am using a Variable, for which I am suppose to select more than 15 values . After executing the report, I am trying look for these values using Layout--> Display Text Elements --> All.
Only first 10-11 values are shown and the rest are shown as ...
As such, I cannot see all the values in WAD too, in the info tab.
Is there any limitations to display the values with text elements ?
Any idea how to display all the values ?

You are right. I can do this if I select Filter values.
But, I am trying to show the values entered for the variables using Layout-->Display Text elements --. Alll or variables.
These are the values shown in the web template. The filter values goes to the data analysis tab, which are fine.
I want to display all the values in the information tab, but only few values are show and rest are shown as ... The same is the case when I select Layout-->Display Text elements --> All or variables. after I execute the query.

Ipad. 3g 32 gb will not sync in window 7 environment and is not shown as a device nor is shown in itunes. followed instructions but no joy...

Do you have the absolute latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. iPad 2 requires the latest version and if your version is older, it must be updated.

I am not being allowed access to my Music folder and am not able to open itunes.

when i try to access iTunes, i get a message that the Music folder cannot be found. When i attempt to open the Music folder, i am told that i do not have access permission. i recently had my hard drive replaced and did a restore from Time Machine. Any ideas?

In the Finder, select your Music folder. Hit Command+I which will open "Get Info". Where it says "Sharing & Permissions" it should read :
yourname Read and Write
everyone No Access

You can't use File > Open File to process server side includes. That will only work if you use File > Open Location and if there is a server that can process the file. If you use File > open File then you open that file directly in Firefox (bypassing a server) and only the HTML code will be processed and not SSI code.

It started out as an occasional problem but not seems to happen multiple times a week. The screen will zoom in and not respond normally to touch and swipe actions. I cannot seem to get it back to normal unless I turn my phone off which can prove to be very difficult when the touch functions and swipe functions are compromised. Any ideas?

You have activated the Zoom function in Accessibility. Triple click the home button and you can use 3 fingers to scroll the screen. Go into Settings>General>Accessibility>Triple click Home button, off.
Double tapping with 3 fingers should turn it on or off. Three fingers to scroll around screen. Double tap 3 fingers and drag to change zoom.

I have a 32gb iPad. I was checking emails in gmail website and works great in html5. But it seems that i changad the view to "desktop view" and from then i cannot change it again to html5. So, all Google apps are shown in desktop view.
What i can do to see them in the new html5 look?

Go to Settings >> Safari and clear your "history", "cookies" & "cache". Then try accessing Google Mail.

I sometimes need the source of a download, and date too. But I see no such information in Safari download.

The new Download Manager that uses the Library and the places.sqlite database file treats downloads like other history items and adds an annotation (places table: moz_annos) to identify these items as downloads.
moz_anno_attributes defines those entries as:

Events and Photos not shown in full album view

In either Events and Photos (under Library) or Albums, when I click on an event or album, it pre-selects a photo (obviously one that I have set as the cover), but NOT the entire collection (as in the past). I used to be able to:
1) See the entire collage, and select any picture I liked and it would enlarge
2) Click in the black space (I set it to a black background), then the picture would minimize and I'd be back to the full album or event.
Now, nothing happens when I click the background black space. All I can do is simply scroll through the album or event and see the pics as they open on screen. I have no idea what the picture will be until I click the forward arrow. I cannot see the full album as well, just the pre-set first picture.

Also, when I click the various tabs in iPhoto Preferences, the pop-up box shakes for a few seconds, just like when you inadvertently enter the wrong password when logging in, or doing software updates, and the system tells you you've made a mistake by making it vibrate up and down. This does not happen with other programs....the transition between settings options after clicking is clean.
I wonder if there's a bug.
I've done nothing to preferences at all....all settings have remained the same.

Blank CDR and DVD not shown in finder - impossible to burn from Burn Folder

Since I have installed Snow Leopard on my Imac, Blank CD's and DVD's are not seen in the finder. No matter what I select in:
Systempreferences > CD's and DVD's (ask task / show finder etc...) the discs do not appear (I tried with all sorts).
Yet the disks are seen in Utilities > Disk Utility and also recognized in System profile.
When I make a New Burn Folder, after getting the prompt: insert disk,and inserting, nothing happens. Then I cancel, and finally get the message "The disk cannot be used because it is not recognized". I get this message with any disk type.
Using the same disks, but burning from I-tunes, I-movie, I-DVD I have no problem at all.
The exact same things happens on my Macbook, since Snow Leopard has been installed.
Smells very buggy. Anyone knowing a solution?

Burn command given from burn folder on desktop, insert disc message appears, insert disc, 30 seconds later disc ejects, no message, no burn?
