Roles and responsiblities of FI-CO consultant in Testing.

Hello,
Can anyone explain to me what are the Roles and responsiblities of FI-CO consultant in Testing SAP FI-CO Modules, and what are the testing tools being used by FI-CO consultant.

The role and respontibilty is........
If oyu are in full implementaiton then you have to get the requirements from client and then youare desinging the system as per requiorements
you have to come up with the unti test plant to test your design
you have to come up with integration plant with FI/CO as well as other module like MM SD PP etc for inteegration testing
then user training
sign off from the client
GAP analysis
GOlive prepariton etc .......are part of responsibility and Role is based on your position in the team.you might be team lead then your role is different then consultant
For testing every client has different way to test so there is nospecific tool like every lcient used but SAP has procided the CATT tool then RWD for documnetation....

Hi, Application DBA work as like production DBA, while resolving issue SLA would not apply for them . Apart from this developement team pressure will be there.
These are points remembered.
Creating test Db for testing environment,
Schema Replication of POC
replication the DB for interface setup .
User , Space management.
Roles and Security management
Space Forecasting -this will be useful when you are estimating for storage
need to give application set up to Production DBA with proper specification.
maintaining the schema changes
Ensure that right script shas to provide the Production DBA team .
Deployment of the application.
performance tuning..
All environment memory /CPU statistisc need to check by regular interval.If any issues need to escalte to INFRASTRUCTURE team

Configuration and customization of various sales documents delivery documents and billing documents.
Partner functions at various document levels.
Incompletion logs at pre-sales, sales and at Delivery documents.
Copy controls
Maintaining pricing at various document levels
Output and text determination
Account determination
Carrying rebate agreements at billing document level etc.

Webservices roles and profiles r/3

Hi gurus i have a little problem i guess
i develop a web service and i want that an extern client use this webservice.
the basis consultan has created an user and he has assigned the sapall and sap new profile and the role.
the client executes the webservice without problem, but i dont want that the user has this profiles, i need to restric the prmissions of the user created by the basis consultant
and when the basis consultant take out the sap all and sap new profile and assing other profile an role the webservice cant be executed, the error is that the user has not permission to execute the function group zsd001.
Does any one knows which roles and profiles does the basis consultant has to assign to the user?

1) Convert Data Classes of InfoCubes. Set up a new data class .
2) Pay attention to the naming convention. Execute the RSDG_DATCLS_ASSIGN report.
3) Run the report RSUPGRCHECK to activate objects.
4) Upgrading ABAP and JAVA in parallel which may cause issues. If there is no custom development on J2EE instance, it is recommended to drop the J2EE instance and re-install the latest J2EE instance after the upgrade.
5) Apply SAP OSS Notes if you include the Support Patch
6)You may be included Basis Support Packages up to package level 6 (SAPKB70006) in the upgrade.

Transport roles and analysis authorization with user assigned

Hi expert,
I face with this problem transport roles and analysis authorization with user assigned. When I have created a transport request to move the roles and analysis authorization from development system to test system. I couldnu2019t maintain the user assigned, after transport I have to assigned manually all of user or create a program to fill AGR_USER table or there are other way.

Hi,
In role administration, you have the following options for transporting roles:
You can download the roles from one system and upload them into another
You can import the role from a remote system using RFC
You can transport the roles with the transport function.
Role upload loads all role data, including authorization data from a file into the SAP system. The user assignments for the role and the generated profiles for the role are exceptions in this case.
Transporting Roles with the Role Transport Function
       1.      Start the role administration function by choosing Tools ® Administration ® User Maintenance ® Role Administration ® Roles (transaction PFCG).
       2.      Enter the role to be transported and choose Transport Role.
The Mass Transport of Roles screen appears. You can control the default settings for the options Also transport single roles for composite roles and Also transport generated profiles for roles using Customizing switches (see Role Administration Functions in the section Functions of the Utilities Menu).
You should not change the authorizations profiles of the role after you have included the role in a transport request. If you need to change the profiles or generate them for the first time, transport the entire role again afterwards.

String Testing
One transaction full activity is called string testing . For example Vendor invoice, goods received and vendor payment.
Integration Testing
It is purely with other modules and we have to check whether the FI testing is working with other related modules or not.
Regression Testing
Testing for whole database. Bring all the data into another server and do the testing is called regression.
UAT
When we test any particular document with the user and if it is ok immediately we have to take the signature on the document, which is signed off and can be forwarded to the immediate boss. There are some steps to be followed when we go for user acceptance testing.
