Roll title / end title

Hi out there,
I have a problem with my end title (roll title)
For a smoother flow, I rose the blur and changed the frame number. But it's not rolling smooth... What can I do?

Afraid I'm not familiar with what's available in non-English tutorials.
As Christina suggested, it's possible the issue is related to a mis-match in settings. In FCP, you can verify sequence settings by hitting Command 0. In Motion, the project settings are available in the Edit tab's listing; there is a variety of XDCAM PAL settings to choose from. It's also where you can set the project's duration.
If you simply add the scroll behavior, the credits will start off-screen, with the first line of text appearing after a half second and the last line exiting at the top a half second before end of the timeline. If you want to adjust the timing, use the de-flicker filter, etc., select the scroll behavior in the project pane and the HUD controls should appear; if it does not, hit HUD in the toolbar.

Music title ends immediate

When selecting a music-title from an album the title ends immediatly without playing the music and returns to the album.It looks like as if the iPhonne ist streaming the music to somewhre and ends a second after starting.
Sound of other Apps then music is ok.
The problem began after installing a bluethooth headset, which I have uninstalled in the meantime.

Clip in end titles

Hi, I'm working on a project and I'm just on the end titles.
I'd like to create a end titles with funny out takes from the set.
Is it possible to place several clips into the end titles?
(black background with end titles on the left hand, out takes on the right hand of the movie)

The first and simplest thing I can think of - others may have better ideas - is as follows:
At the end of your fade out, pause playback (hit the Spacebar) and move back one frame (..press the left cursor key..) and choose Edit>Create Still Frame (..or just press ShiftApple'S'). That creates a 5 second still of black.
Drag the still frame and drop it on the Timeline at the end of your fade. Double-click on the still, and type a new number into its default 5 sec box to give it the time which you want for your end titles. Then apply your end titles over the extended black still clip.
That gives you a fade to black, then titles over black.
[..The probable reason why it didn't work for you was perhaps that the duration of your title was too long for the duration of your fade: the fade was shorter than your title(s). So iMovie moved the title back into the body of your movie so that there was sufficient duration available for the title sequence..]

Doesn't play the end titles of movie

Added title ending to final cut pro x short film....but the title clips are greyed out...when I save film and play it back the title endings aren't recorded. Can't see an obvious way of including the title clips....any ideas?

A region with borders only no title or title bar

Hello Expert,
I am trying to create just a border around the region, In essence a region with just border and no title or title bar. There is no simple approach available for this option. Can anybody shed some light on this matter.
APEX Version : 4.1.0.00.32
Theme : Builder Blue 2 (I guess it is theme 2 in the APEX)
I tried various option utilizing border-less region template, report region, report region without title, No Template etc. along with following CSS style code, which I added into header section of the Page.
This option creates border on top of the region elements but do not cover the region elements like items, that also only in template with no button or titles

I also tried creating a template with new region and removed the title class and button class, which created a region without border but there is no line on the top only on the sides, which looked so weird. Hi,
That is certainly helpful as it does create the border, however the border is created for two regions.
I have total four regions. At the top is breadcrumb region, below that is Report region displaying basic details. The third region is a list region waith navigation tab only and it is borderless region. The fourth regions has all the form items for which I wan the border only. With your suggestion, I am able get the border but it is now covering both region 3 and 4. I just want only on 4th region. The foruth region template I modified to "Region without button and titles" the way you suggested.
The Region 3 and Region 4 has same class .bl-body, hjowever I didn't put any static id to region 3. I tried with naming the static id in region 3 with different name, but that didn't change anything.
Ideally I would prefer a new region template so I can use it for multiple pages.
Here is what I did,
Opened shared components in the application, selected templates link. Copied a specific template (Report Region) as a new template and in the definition where there is a code, I removed few lines of code. which is follwowing

Blurry Titles within Titler, even blurrier on Timeline

I know there are a lot of documented issues about blurry text and titles after rendering. I am encountering blurry titles within the Titler interface, and on the timeline in Premiere Pro CS6. It is just white text on a black background, nothing has been scaled up or transformed or anyway, but the text is just totally crappy looking. It will probably look ok when you look at the small screenshot cap below, but if you look at it at 100%, you can see that the text is blurry and there are broken horizonal lines.
Perhaps it will render out ok, but I'm still mystefied why Adobe would put out such a sub-par program.

Ok, this is what I did:
Open Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
New Project > DV - NTSC > Standard 48 kHz
Dragged an image onto video track 1
Title > New Title > Default Still > Video Settings: 720 x 480, 29.97fps drop-frame, pixel aspect ratio D1/DV NTSC (0.9091)
Inside Titler: Area Type Tool, drag area inside title safe area
Typed some text
Changed font family to Adobe Garamond Pro, font size 60, background of black
Adjusted text area to be at the bottom of the text safe area
Closed Titler window
In sequenced, dragged title to video track 2
When I delete the image from video track 1, the text does look better -- still blurry, but the broken lines go away. But ultimately I need to have the text over the image (no background) -- I just used the black background to isolate the text for this experiment.
I rendered out this arrangement (title with black background over image), and the broken lines weren't there in the render; however, the text was still noticeably blurry.

I am new to Objective C. I'm looking at an example provided by Apple called SQLiteBooks for the iPhone.
In their interface ,Book.h, they have a few properties:

@property (copy, nonatomic) NSDate *copyright;
@property (copy, nonatomic) NSString *author;
They have instance methods that hydrate as well as set these properties.
Sometimes they use:
self.title = @"a title";
and sometimes they just set title directly:
title = @"a title";
What's the difference? Why do they use self.* in some places and in others they don't? It seems to me like you should ALWAYS use self.* when referring to a property of an instance (such as this.* in java).

"self.title" is syntactic sugar; it is exactly equivalent to [self title], which of course is sending the selector "title" to the current object (receiver), which invokes the getter method "title" on the receiver, self.
If "self.title" is used on the left side of an assignment statement, it results in the equivalent of [self setTitle:]. If used on the right side, it is the equivalent of [self title] or [self getTitle].
So
self.title = @"Foo"; is the same as [self setTitle:@"Foo"];
and
myTitle = self.title; is the same as myTitle = [self title];
Assuming the setters and getters are created by the @property compiler directives as you have done.
Since you set your @property to be nonatomic and copy (which is correct for strings), then you always have your own copy even if someone passes in a mutable string.

Editing Game's End Titles via .class file

I feel idiotic posting this request, but I'm at a loss as to where else to turn.
I downloaded a game called Gopher Bash from this link -

I've modified the graphics to make it French Bulldog centered for my website, but I simply can't figure out how to edit the .class file to change the closing credits which say 'Gophers ruined your yard'. I tried simply changing the text where it appeared in the file, but this simply caused the entire thing to not work.
If anyone can stop giggling long enough to take a look at this for me, I'd be very appreciative
ps: I'd happily post the .class file details, but I'm not sure which editor to open it and paste it with. I'm using notepad or dreamweaver to edit it, both of which seem to change it in to nonsense...

After creating a folder for burning there are "old" mistakes in titles (old titles' file?)

I have a problem with Encore. I made project, there are three film in the project, two of them with subtitles. I rendered a folder for burn. But then I found mistakes in titles and corrected them in Encore. I deleted previous files for burning and rendered project (folder) again. I was suprised when I checked folder by Nero Show Time - there were "previous" mistakes in titles - NO correction which I've made!

Let me guess: you're using CS3, right? Select all of the subtitles in
the track and then change the kerning of the text. Then undo. Your
changes should appear correctly after that. It's a known bug.

Dynamic text (Titles/Section titles)

Hi,
I'm diving into Keynote for the first time and am struggling with trying to figure out how to create dynamic text within my masters.
I'd like to be able to have the user enter the title of the presentation on their title slide (using the title master) and then have that title propagate through the other slides in the footer of the section/content slides as meta data.
Is there a solution for how to do this? Essentially, I just need to flag the text box with a variable and then repurpose that variable in a differently styled text box on other slides.

Keynote and PowerPoint are both presentation packages; however, they're not identical, and offer different feature sets. If you can't live without a feature that PPT offers but Keynote doesn't, use PPT. However, in my experience most of the things that PPT will do can be done in Keynote - it's just a matter of figuring out how.
I've been using Keynote (various versions) for several years, after having used PPT for several years. Yes, I've found things that Keynote didn't do that I was used to being able to do in PPT, but the only one that I couldn't find a workaround for was motion-path animation, and it appeared as a Build option ("Action") in Keynote '08.
If there is a feature you would like to see in Keynote, you can always use the "Provide Keynote Feedback" link in the "Keynote" menu to send you ideas to Apple. There's no guarantee that your feature will appear, but that's the way to let Apple know that you would like to see something changed.
As for your original problem, one simple way to propogate the title information in the footers of the other slides is to add a small text box to the master(s) used for the other slides and copy the title into it. No, it's not automatic, and if you change the title you must also change the text box on the master(s), but it's a workaround.
There is definitely a non-flat learning curve associated with the transition from PPT to Keynote, but once you pick up some familiarity with Keynote, you may find it's much more intuitive to use.

CD titles, song titles not showing up in iTunes 7

I backed up my songs purchased from iTunes and burned on iTunes 6 before I finally got iTunes 7 installed. My library appears to be in limbo, so I inserted the backup CDs to import into the iTunes 7 library. However, iTunes 7 is not reading the information. The CD title reads Audio CD, and the song titles are listed as Track 01, Track 02, Track 03, etc. My question is what do I need to do to get iTunes 7 to read the information that was burned using iTunes 7?
My computer is a Dell Dimension 3000 (not my choice) and I'm using Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.

Cannot see the artist title & song title in Music...

I'm wondering if there is a way to change the display in Music. When I'm playing a song, the song title and artist appear in very small font at the top. The artwork takes up the entire screen though (which doesn't always help). Is it possible to make the font larger so that I can see the artist & song title with a quick glance (instead of getting out a maginifying glass?)

Copying Titles in Title Window causes PPro CS5 to crash

Hi Community,
when i copy a title in the title window, PPro CS5 crashes immediately after pressing "STRG+C" or right-click "Copy" (Windows) with a heavy error-message and premiere closes itself. This happens with Mercury Playback Engine ON and OFF.
Anyone experienced the same problem?

I can't reproduce this at all.
I can cut copy and paste in the title window, create a new title based on the current ine (using the icon top left) and I can cut copy and paste titles in the project window. No crashes at all.
Can you give us some more exact steps to follow and I'll see if it works here. Include project presets etc.

Creating Axes Titles, Chart Titles from Sheet Cells

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a completely automated document from Numbers 09. I'd like my chart to grab its category, x-axis and y-axis titles from text placed in cells within the spreadsheet. Although I could create an AppleScript to do this on my Mac, the iPad and iPhone do not operate with AppleScript. So, how would it be possible to make a self-contatined Numbers 09 doc such that whether I use the sheet on my Mac or iPhone, a chart's titles for the x-axis, y-axis and chart come from data contained in a spreadsheet's cells?

The only difference is the left definition for
mx:CartesianChart. When it's defined in terms of the width of the
