Rollover frecuency

somebody knows where i find the parameter to modify the format of log_file.yyyymmdd that it save when I execute the rollover??
This because when I execute it save but with a day distinct to the real date

Hard to say if you are the only one having the problem if we don't know what exactly the problem is that you are having. Rollover States do not work is not a lot of information.
Perhaps you can explain further what method you are using and provide screenshots of what you are doing and the results you are getting?

  • Interactive rollover function isn't working in full screen mode.

    I've created an interactive document with animation in Indesign CC.
    Part of this document has menu bars that change to longer bars when rolled over. I export as an swf and then place that in a separate document to export to pdf. When I open it in Acrobat Pro XI everything works correctly...until I make it full screen. The text and images look fuzzy and low res and the roll over function on the menu bar doesn't work. Unless you click and drag over them, not hover.
    Things I have tried:
    Changing the document to A3, as it is currently A4 - no change.
    Changing the resolution in both flash exporting options and interactive pdf exporting options. I've tried 72 dpi, 96dpi 110dpi (to match the acrobat settings) - still no change.
    Have tried both multi state object method of changing the menu bar and a show/hide function - This hasn't made a difference either.
    I've had a flick through Acrobat settings but I'm not sure what I am looking for.
    The buttons used with the roller also have a on release or tap function to go to a destination as well as the rollover option. I'm not sure if this button having multiple actions might be affecting this as it seems to have no problems handling multiple interactive actions when not in full screen.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I would like to inform you that you need to use keyboard shortcut V to bring up the select tool (Ctrl-V does not work).
    Also, you may try pressing the F8 key to un-hide the toolbar.

  • How to create a rollover button effect in Captivate 7?

    Hi,
    I recently upgraded from Captivate 6 to Captivate 7 and am curious to know how I can create a rollover state for a SmartShape button. Basically, let's say I have a SmartShape being used as a button. What I want is to have the button have a glow effect and a shadow effect each time the mouse is hovered over it. Is there an easier way than having two objects on the slide -- one as the normal state and one the mouse hoever image. What I'm thinking is that the mouse hovered state image will have it's 'Visible in Output' set as unchecked and I can use an Advanced Action to show the object on mouse hover. Perhaps I can have the mouse hovered state image as a rollover SmartShape too?
    Nonetheless, this looks like too much work. If I have 10 clickables on the page for which I want rollover effects, I would need to have 10 additional objects with their rollover states -- just seems like too much, but perhaps that's the Captivate way. Or I am I missing the obvious?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sean

    Most people would say the easiest way to achieve what you are talking about would be to just create your own custom image button in a graphics editor and give the Over state image having the glow effect that you want.
    If you decide to go that route, this tutorial describes the process of creating an image button:
    http://www.infosemantics.com.au/adobe-captivate/create-custom-image-buttons
    Another possibility is that you can use the Infosemantics Event Handler widget to trigger an Apply Effect action and use the Glow filter as the effect.
    However, this may require some tweaking since it's not that easy to time effects that are applied via an advanced action.

  • In Captivate 7, how can I track which rollover captions are viewed on a particular slide?

    I have a slide with multiple rollover captions. I'm trying to figure out a way to track which captions are viewed so that when they have all been viewed, they can advance to the next slide for a quiz. I would also like to show a check mark next to the ones viewed so the user can see which ones are left. I'm not opposed to using check boxes instead of the rollover captions, but then I'd have to figure out a way to get the captions to appear when checked and then disappear. Is this possible?

    Sure. The Slidelet has two parts. The rollover area (the trigger) and the slidelet area (what displays when the trigger is rolled over or clicked)
    So you click to give focus to the rollover area and look at the properties panel. Specifically, the Actions area. There, you should see an ability to "Execute Advanced Actions".
    So you would define an action that would increment a variable (to let you know the area was moused over) and also perform a show of an image of a check mark. (or whatever type of image you want to use to indicate it had been moused over)
    You might look at the link below if you need some guidance on advanced actions

  • Animated GIF as a rollover?

    I need to have an animated GIF be the rollover image for a button. However, when I insert the 'up' image for the button, and naming the aminated GIF as the "over" part, it doesn't play it as an animation since an animated GIF must be added as an animation, not as an image. Is there a way to do this?

    Yes, Captivate 7. I'm re-working an old Dreamweaver HTML CBT program to bring it up to today's standards using Captivate. I previously had small cartoon hands pointing to the right or left to click to go to the next or previous slide.The pointing hands are static, but on rollover I had an animated gif of the pointing hand moving in the direction it pointed. I'm certain I can figure out a workaround, just wanted to see if there was a built-in way to have an animation be the 'over' state.

  • Animated gif rollover

    i've created an animated gif in fireworks i want to create a
    rollover button within fireworks then export the animated gif with
    rollover into fireworks. i seem to be doing something wrong, i've
    created the rollover button but it isn't showing up in preview in
    fireworks or showing when exported dreamweaver. any idea how to fix
    it? many thanks

    If you're using Dreamweaver, the easiest thing is to do your
    rollovers there. Export your two images from Fireworks, then use
    Dreamweaver's menu:
    Insert > Image Objects > Rollover Image
    It's a snap.
    Fireworks is a graphics program that can export HTML for
    mockups and prototypes. It is not a visual Web development tool.
    When you switch from making graphics to making pages, switch from
    FW to DW.

  • Loss of rollover behavior with animated GIF

    I am currently working on a webpage design that has lost the ability of the rollover behavior on a page when animated gifs are optimized.  The gif images are on seperate states that cycle forever, but the rollover slices at the top of page will flash slightly when moused over but go back to original state.  The other pages that don't have the animated gif will work properly and hold the image when highlighted.  I have changed the rollover behavior on the master page from simple to swap image and that does not help.  I have also tried to insert the animated gif images as slices and only animate that portion on the page, but I can't get that to work either.   Any tips?
    Thanks

    I found out that it works better to import the animated GIF's through dreamweaver.
    It is now working.

  • Disjointed rollover on a apDiv (CS5.5)

    Hi There, I'm working on a disjointed rollover using css. I want to apply this on an apDiv but somehow it's not working.
    Here's what I try to do:
    I have a div with a big animated gif that auto starts.
    On top of that I have an apDiv with a small logo (animated gif) that fades in with jQuery after the big animated gif is done.
    This is all working fine.
    Now I want to make the small logo to act as a rollover, revealing an image somewhere on top of the main div.
    With the present css the small image that suppose to become visible when you hover over the logo doesn't show. Here's my code:
    body {
              margin-left: 0px;
              margin-top: 0px;
              margin-right: 0px;
              background-color: #ECF1F5;
              text-align: center;
    #main {

              /**adjust positioning of full size images in px or %**/
    left: -300px;
              top: 300px;
              z-index: 3;
    #rollover a:hover span, #rollover a:active span, #rollover a:focus span {
              display:block;
    What have I done wrong here? I am by no means a code junkie so I can use all the help I can get.

    In bold is what I've added. Some lines from your old code have been removed.
    What I've done here is used pure CSS (no jQuery) to trigger a display of an element on hover. But, do note that image maps here are pointless as the 'info' image will be shown only when you hover on logo - will disappear again when you mouseout from logo. So, an image map will make no sense.

  • Why is my image rollover not working in Firefox?

    I am starting a new site.  In the middle of the page on the right, I have a simple image rollover effect for the UPCOMING EVENTS button.  It is also supposed to link to another page (not designed yet).  It works in Explorer, not in Firefox.  How can I fix this?  I suppose I can revert to javascript but it adds a lot of coding to the page.  I don't know what to do.    http://jeannettedutton.com/MLVC/

    In Menu.css, change this -
    #MenuBar.MenuBar .SubMenuVisible {/* For Horizontal menubar only */
        top: 100%;  /* 100% is at the bottom of parent menuItemContainer */
        left:0px; /* 'left' may need tuning depending upon borders or padding applied to menubar MenuItemContainer or MenuItem,
                        and your personal taste.
                        0px will left align the dropdown with the content area of the MenuItemContainer. Assuming you keep the margins 0
                        on MenuItemContainer and MenuItem on the parent
                        menubar, making this equal the sum of the MenuItemContainer & MenuItem padding-left will align
                        the dropdown with the left of the menu item label.*/
        z-index:0;
        overflow:visible;
    to this -
    #MenuBar.MenuBar .SubMenuVisible {/* For Horizontal menubar only */
        top: 100%;  /* 100% is at the bottom of parent menuItemContainer */
        left:0px; /* 'left' may need tuning depending upon borders or padding applied to menubar MenuItemContainer or MenuItem,

  • Multiple objects to have the same rollover state at the same time (but link to different pages)

    Hi,
    I have a mac
    I would like to know how i can have multiple images with the same rollover states - but which show up at the same time on more than one image, (but each item to have its own linking property applied to it)?
    see image below: i want both box 'A' to pop with the same rollover state even if I'm hovering on just one of the boxes. But i want each of the boxes to link to different pages in my website.
    Ive tried grouping the images and moving them to their own layer, but the rollovers aren't 'linking' together on multiple objects
    help!
    thanks

    It's not, but you don't need that to achieve the behavior you've described. A1, a trigger, will have the states and hyperlink you desire. On rollover it will show its rollover state and will show its target container which will be directly on top of A2. It will look like a rollover state for A2. Repeat this for A2, B1 and B2 and I believe you achieve the behavior you've described. It's just a different way of approaching the problem (that happens to fit the tools available in Muse).

  • How do I show multiple rollover images on a page inserted dynamically (pulled out of a sql database

    How do I show multiple rollover images on a page inserted dynamically (pulled out of a sql database table) using Dreamweaver’s Repeat Region. Example: I have different products each one associated (through their productID) with two images (one that’s showing in the page and one for the rollover effect) that are pulled from a database using Dreamweaver’s Recordset. So I want to end up with a page containing row after row of images(one for every product).When moused over each image will reveal the second (rollover) image for the same product which in turn can be a link(the image itself ) that when clicked leads to a detailed page with more information about the product the image is associated with. To show row after row with images for the different products in the database table I am using Dreamweaver’s Insert Rollover Image command and then the  Repeat Region – I have no problem to complete the steps, to insert the image and the rollover one at once and set the paths so they are pulled dynamically depending on the productID they are associated with .I have also no problem to apply the Repeat Region so not only the first image associated with the first product in the table is shown but all of them-a routine and standard procedure when using the Repeat Region to dynamically generate and display multiple rows of data. However, when I preview the page the rollover effect is lost –the images are shown but when moused over the second  image does not  show. The problem is caused when the Repeat Region is applied-once again I am allowed to apply it but the rollover stops working, a kind of interference. ANY SOLLUTION PLEASE, ANY WORK AROUND.

    I gotta tell you, using multiple images for rollover effects is going to be a big challenge in your dynamic scenario.
    If this were my product page, I would use thumbnails with a bit of CSS opacity or filters to desaturate and make them full opacity/color on mouse over.  Nice effect with much less bandwidth. Easily done globally with CSS code.

  • How to use one button rollover symbol to create 100 graphically different buttons

    I do know how to create a button rollover symbol.
    I don't know how to make that button rollover symbol reuseable. I'd like to put 100 different images in 100 copies of the button. I'd rather not make new symbols for every button, since the rollover animation may change.
    Symbol "Accessibility" allows the title to be changed for copies of the symbol. Does similar functionality exist for bitmaps used in the symbol?
    Could the copied button bring in new graphics from the timeline in another symbol or a xml sheet?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been following tutorials, except none of them cover this situation.
    Thanks for your help!

    Created in EA version 3:
    I have 2 samples for you that are very similar.
    1- uses the symbol with no image and loads the image as a background-image for the div.
    https://app.box.com/s/co7uki3fm3b11a3o1xjw
    2- uses an image in the symbol and replaces this image with a new one in the img (not div)
    https://app.box.com/s/3ms92f5cv0mylspsi5uo
    Choose what you prefer.
    3. An example with more elements in the symbol directly on the stage instead of a container. use a container if you want to place the symbols in a specific rectangle div for example.

  • How do you hyperlink a rollover to another page from within your iweb site?

    Ive made a bunch of rollovers for my iweb navigation bar. If youve created a rollover you know you have to link the images to a image hosting site. here as you would just normally drag and drop a image from your desk top. Because of the way iweb works, if you are using images from a image hosting sit, you can no longer adjust the characteristics of the images i.e. colors, size, and in this case the hyperlink. More specifically you cant change the hyperlink to a page within the iweb site.
    So the problem im trying to figure out is how to link the rollover to a page within my iweb site.
    now you can actually change the hyperlink of the rollover. however you must do this by adjusting the html within the snippet of the rollover. The problem i found is that iweb doesnt creat sub domains for each page. a entire iweb site with multible pages uses only one domain which is the homepage. so i cant just type a subdomain of another page into the snippet hyperlink because the subdomain doesnt exist.
    here is the link to my site. youll notice i did figure out a work around with the "contact us" button but its a huge pain in the butt. i had to create a new domain and a new site then attach the referal index.html to that new domain. todo this for every single button is very difficult.

    so i guess the bigger question is, is there a easier way to do this?
    perhaps if there was a way to create a subdomains like springgardenranch.tk/contactus withing iweb for each page. but i dont even know if thats possible.
    thanks for you help.

    Because of the way iweb works, if you are using images from a image hosting sit, you can no longer adjust the characteristics of the images i.e. colors, size, and in this case the hyperlink.
    Then use  your own images. Then you can create them the way you want.
    Here's how I do it :

    And here's the menu in an iWeb page :

    And here you can learn how to do it. Follow the links to the How-To pages.

    You may have to learn HTML. CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, DOM and how iweb creates its webpages.
