Rosetta 'checkbox' is not in the Quicken 2007 info panel

i got my new Imac, first time Mac user, installed Quicken 2007, which does crash everytime I use it.
Followed instructions for the info panel to check the 'rosetta' box, but there is no Rosetta box in my info window. Under the 'General' it does say POWERPC application
Am I missing something?

XMP data not showing up in the custom file info panels when upgraded to CC

For several versions of Photoshop, I have been able to use a modified custom file info panel to input, update, and track psd files. With each version of photoshop there are always some changes in the way the object data is handled. The lastest challenge is:
1. XMP data not showing up in the custom file info panels when upgraded CC from CS6.
2. Raw data is not visible in CC in the File info panel.
3. This occurs in new documents where we create the xmp wrapper while the file template is built.
4. When metadata is manually entered into the file, the data is not added to the XMP wrapper when it is recreated on the save.
5. When a file that was created in CS6 is opened that contains the Metadata in the file info template. It is visible. the Raw data is also visible. Once the XMP wrapper is recreated - write and then close. The data is no longer available. the Raw data will not pull up in the file info panel.
Any feedback or a direction will be appreciated.

I have a script that the user runs to input xmp data into a Customized version of the generic file info panel. it is data that is gathered from the user when the psd file is created. once the file is open in photoshop. the information is visible in the File info panel , the raw data, and as a schema addition in the advanced tab.
in CC the nodes and the children of the XMP packet have changed positions. so that the XML -this.XMP.child(0).appendChild(this.createNode())
is no longer the node that can be appended.
Where XML.child(0).elements().length(); would enable the xmlns to be added in CS6

it is visible in CC as namespace in a different arrangement. XML.child(0).child(0).namespaceDeclarations().toString()) and the children are XML.child(0).child(0).elements().length().toString()); There are now 7 child nodes where before there were 1.
with all shifted, the initialize of the values and the delete XMP packet wrapper and create new or the amend to the XMP packet wrapper is undefined.

Updateing CustomXML scheema from sharepoint 2010 in VBA does not update the DIP (Document information panel)

I need to update a schema from Sharepoint with namespace
http://schenas.microsoft.com/office/2006/metada/contentType when i am opening a Word document. I am using VBA to do so. When i have made the Changes it does not update the DIP, not until i save the document.
Is there a way to update the dip using VBA.

IOS6 contacts not showing the latest facebook info?

Hello,
With the facebook app on iOS5 you could link your facebook contacts to your iphone contacts app.
Now i have updated to iOS6 with intergrated facebook i am still seeing the old facebook information in my contacts.
I have to click on 'linked contacts' at the bottom of the page.
Is there a way to see the latest facebook info (profie pics etc..) without having to click 'linked contacts' at the bottom of the page??
I have already clicked update all contacts in the settings.

I would check to insure you have the latest version of Network+ settings app. This replaces the old calls+sms settings app. You can check with an app called LUMIA Pusher, availble in the Windows Phone Store.

Customize the Custom File Info Panels ... how to?

Oh no! There are SWF files all over the place in Custom File Info Panels 2.0 (i. e. CS4) where plain old XML files used to be. I desperately need to add a few editable metadata entry fields to the File Info Panels. In CS3, that was easy. How am I supposed to do the same in CS4?

Ipod touch 4g detected in itunes but not showing the ipod touch control panel

i just setup my ipod touch 4g on ios 5.0.1. It's detected in itunes on the devices side bar but when i click it just a white screen stating "ipod" comes on the itunes window. help ! i cannot sync anything onto it

Try connecting your ipod to another computer and sync only 1 file or song just for isolation purpose only to see if it'll sync.
If still not syncing, then porbably you may have a bad iOS installed in iPod which is hard to see if it has a problem because you said nothing's wrong with iPod. I just saying is, it MIGHT have a bad iOS.
If you are unable to do a restore, put your ipod in DFU mode, then connect to iTunes and iTunes will detect your ipod in restore mode. Press shift key (PC keyboard) then click the restore button on iTunes. I hope you have your copy of IPSW file for restoration purposes.

Logging in to remote site, reset safari does not clear the user login info?

I'm logging in to a remote site with a 2 step login. Authentication then citrix. User info is not cleared in the authentication portion when I reset safari. Must be stored somewhere else. Where should I look?

Launch the Keychain Access application and search for the server name.

Creating applications does not include the debug and back panel.

I create quite a few .exe's for distribution and generally have no problems. But recently I have a had problem on one that is mysterious so I decided add the debugging features which are supposed to give me the back panel and allow tracing. As far as I can see, all the proper switches are set in the application builder for debugging, but I never get the items I expect either in the Operate, Tools or Window menus and can't pull up the back panel.
Has anyone been able to make this work correctly and do you have any tips for me?

Hi Dave,
You can debug an executable on the local machine as well, just put 'localhost' as computer name from LabVIEW.
The only important thing to remember is that you need LabVIEW to debug.

DW8 does not save the FTP login info

Since I upgraded to DW8 I have to retype all the FTP login
information every time I try to connect to a remote site.
The "save" check box is checked. I have downloaded the latest
updates. My operating system is xp. What can I do to make DW save
the information?

Updating to 8.0.2 does the job.

Corrupt Data File Quicken 2007 for Mac (Lion)

Bought QM 2007 for Mac (Lion compatible) and without touching my personal data file, opened a new file and immediately got the "...corrupt data in data file" message. I've tried everything I could find including: trashing the Quotes file, my old Quicken 2006 app, removing any 3vix files, intuit preferences, etc. Nothing helped. I then ran QM2007 on Snow Leopard with my old data file, and after trashing the Quotes file, it worked. So I saved this file and transfered it to my Lion machine, trashed the quotes file. Same error, ...data corrupted. Thinking it's my Lion machine, I opened it in Safe mode...no help. Created a new account...no help. Imported .qif file..no help. I've searched the Quicken forum...no help. I'm very desparate; anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Baltwo. I'm convinced it's something about my Lion installation that's the cause, since others as yourself seem to be OK—although I haven't been able to run it down. The Quicken 2007 is a fresh installation, each time I try out a new approach, I reinstall the software. Now perhaps it's accumulating some ancillary file that doesn't get trashed, but I can't run that down. I did find something interesting in my systematic search for a cause, and that is that when i install it on my Snow Leopard machine, it works fine with a new, unpopulated data file. But if I re-index my Q 2006 file, trash my Quotes file, then import it into QM 2007, the "corrupt data error" comes up. So I know everything (the QM 2007-Lion) works in Snow Leopard without prior re-indexing the data file, just not in Lion. So I saved my data file that worked in the Snow Leopard version (so it's now a QM 2007-Lion file), try to open it on my Lion machine with a new QM 2007-Lion install, and the corrupt data error appears. As I said above, opening in Safe mode, creating a new account, running my disk through Disk Utility and fixing permissions, nothing has worked so far.
So I bit the bullet and created a Snow Leopard virtual machine (Server version) with my Parallels, and it finally works, including downloading my investment, credit card, etc. accounts. Now I can move on with my taxes, but I'm still perplexed why Lion won't let me run it. I don't like my SL VM because Parallels won't permit coherence, so it's kind of kludgy.
That's my story after many hours of troubleshooting. I hope this helps someone else with the same problem. Thanks for trying to help.

Oam does not show the correct configuration information

Oracle apps,
An issue with the oam.
There are 2 nodes in our system. In 12
One is for db and cm
The other is for forms and apache.
The system is running fine.
But from the OAM, where it does not show the correct configuration info.
From the OAM, all the services are (including db, cm, forms, apache) on one node.
The issue might be caused by the fact that the web tier was cloned from the cm tier as a workaround for some patch errors in web tier.
I even used the EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN; to clean the system tables and ran
Autocfg on all tiers. But it didn’t solve this issue.
How can I fix this OAM problem to make it show the correct information?

Having the info panel open with curves open

Hi,
Just switched from CS6 to PS CC. I usually set my white and black points using curves. Set the points then go to curves and adjust the points with the RGB channels. In PS CC, I cannot seem to have the curves and info panel open at the same time. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Hi, c.pfaffenbichler, Here is a screenshot of the curves properties panel open. I would like to see the info panel open at the same time so I can drag the point on the curve to specific values of R,G and B. If I click on the info tab in this curves panel the info comes up but I do not see the curves properties anymore. I want to be able to see both open at the same time.

Quicken Essentials 2010 has less features than Quciken 2007. Keeping track of investments is one feature I need and Quicken Essentials does not include that function. I may have to consider others financial software, such as iBank4, Money4, iFinance, and Money Well.

I switched to Essentials while using Snow Leopard in anticipation. Data conversion was pretty good. Nothing critical was lost, but I did have to reassign some budget catergories for past transactions. It was a good opportunity for some cleaning up that I should have done anyway. They have a 60-day return policy on the Quicken web site which was key to my purchase decision.
I am not affiliated with Quicken in any way other than as a customer. I'd have preferred it if they had updated 2007 but they didn't!
