RosettaNet ERP Content Question

Hi,
I'm installing the Rosettanet order to invoice business package. In the RN guides you read that you should install the following content in the repository :
-RosettaNet 1.0
-RossettaNet R3 1.0
If I follow the provided link to the download center
( SP and patches / By Appl Group / XI Content I get a long list with amongst others
XI CONTENT PIDX
XI CONTENT ROSETTANET
XI CONTENT ROSETTANET CRM
XI CONTENT SAP_ABA
XI CONTENT SAP_APPL
XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS
XI CONTENT SCM
but not RosettaNet ERP ( which I think is the new name of Rosettanet R3 1.0 )
Under the plain Rosettanet link if find a reference to this Rosettanet ERP but I don't find a doiwnload link.
I think this contains the mappings from IDOC to RNIF standards. Correct ?

Based on your status with SAP you may see all of them or only the first one. If you drill down further, you can download these packages, but you also find some documentation about these packages.
In my case, I see the first and second one but not the third one. Could this be due to 'our status' with SAP and what exactly does that mean ? To which status are they referring here ?

Checkpointing - control file contents question

Some clarification is needed if possible...
When you commit a transaction:
- commit scn is recorded in the itl of the data block and undo segment header
- lgwr records the committed scn (for all data blocks involved) to the redo log
Checkpoint Event
- (3 seconds or possibly less passes by) CKPT wakes up and signals DBWn to write dirty (modified and committed)
blocks to disk
- CKPT records the scn of those blocks in the control file (data file and redo thread sections) and the data file
header (task of checkpoint when a log switch occurs)
- Checkpoint position in the Redo Log is forwarded
Control file contents question:
When LGWR writes the commit scn to the redo log, who writes the scn to the control file? LGWR or CKPT?
Also, when is the redo thread scn written?

This is my understanding of the stuff. Feel free to correct me.
Checkpoint SCN , as I mentioned in my last reply is the marker of the point till which the data is "chekpointed" to the datafiles. This marker tells the controlfile that in the case of the crash, where to start recovery of the datafile and have to go which extent in the redo stream? This is only available in the datafile header and in the controlfile. This doesn't get recorded in the redo log file/stream.
I mentioned checkpoint queue in my reply too. Though I couldn't find any reference directly mentioned between this and in the checkpoint SCN but I believe my theory , if not totall, partially is correct. The incremental checkpoint is the stuff which makes the decision that how many redo blocks needs to be applied to the datafile if its closed without a proper checkpoint. So this part is maintained in the Datafile header itself in the form of the checkpoint SCN. When not matched with the conrolfile checkpoint SCN, which is always higher than this, a recovery is reported.
I hope its somewhat correct. Do let me know your views too.

Business Content Questions - Urgent

Can you please help me with the following questions...
1. I installed business content for CRM Sales Activities. I was also successful in loading transaction data. There is some master data that also needs to be loaded, but many of the master data datasources are not available when I checked RSA5 in the CRM system. How should I approach this problem?
   2. When installing business content, if "match (X) or copy" is selected and if we select background installation, will the system overwrite the objects or will it leave it in the existing version?
   3. When activating business content reports, I get the error "BEx transport request xx is not suitable or not available". What could this mean?
   4. After development, do I simply gather all the objects and transport them to QA/PRD or do I have to activate business content in QA/PRD systems also?

Hi all,
can anybody suggest me any answer on these question know generic data extraction but don't know how to use standard business content.
1 ) How to find right business content of given requirement.
2 ) How to use standard business conent if any example then tell me
3 ) Is in BW any standard business content is present for Material management if yes then tell me how to use by example.

Does electronic version Adobe Dreamweaver CSS with PHP content question

Does electronic version Adobe Dreamweaver CSS with PHP come with the labs or files used in a college course? What is on the CD and is there a way to get the content with the Barnes and Noble e-book? This should be a Barnes and Nobel question but they seem to have troubles answering the questions like this.

SAP ERP Implementation Questions

I have some questions about SAP and implementation:
I am finding information on SAP ERP 6.0 and MySAP ERP ECC 6.0 is there a difference in these products if so what are they?
Does anyone have experience implementing SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the legacy system is MAXIMO 5.2? If so any hints, tips or advice?
My primary focus will be the MM module, again any hints, tips or advice.

A. Yes. You will communication likn between ERP 6.0 and any legacy systems.
You should use SAP tools like SAP BC (Business Connector). Using this tools you can transfer the legacy system data to SAP ERP 6.0.

Title Bar Contents Question

If using a jump to an external Help topic, after the jump the
title bar for the target Help does not display that Help title, but
retains the title from the original Help. Is there a way to make
the title bar content reflect the current Help being displayed?

Joe,
The caption is a property of the window and I don't know of
any way to change it on the fly. So the other option would be to
change the window. I can think of two ways to do this but both add
the problem of leaving the previous topic open in its window. You
could use a shortcut control and open the other help file to the
topic in question, rather than opening the topic inside of your
help file or you could define a second window and use it when you
call the external topic.

Scrolling content question

I have done this multipl times before without a problem. I have a short block of scrolling text that does not align flush left, as it has been created. It scrolls horizontally AND vertically when it should only scroll vertically. Both text boxes are the same width and the scrolling content box is on the pasteboard touching the edge of the page. Any thoughts as to what could cause a minor horizontal scroll like that?

No. It's just set up as scrollable content. I didn't even know it could scroll in both orientations. Previously, when I've done it, it's just moved in the one direction. Are there things that can affect scrolling text that would cause this, to the best of your knowledge.
Bob, on an unrelated note, have you seen or heard of multi-state objects being too complex to process? I have an issue where a file animates in the Preview Content Viewer, but then it crashes my InDesign and won't animate correctly on the iPad.

Client Content Question.

Calling to any web designers...
I have just started selling websites and one client has just sent me some PDFs and images and basically said 'sort it'.
How do you all obtain content?
I'm thinking if I give them a sort of sitemap explaining what I need and where it will go on the page so they can send me the information all in order in a word document or something?

I would ask them to tell you how they want to sort it. Otherwise they will say it's wrong but you had no clue. Then use a database to sort through their PDFs. And any meetings you can schedule with them would be helpful just to lay things out it cannot hurt to plan it out and use Visio or some tool like that to create a visual map of their site.

BI content question

We have BI content SAPK-70407INBICONT.
In BI administration workbench area, under "BI Content", I check the content for "Corporate Finance Management".
InfoArea 0CFM_AN, Analyzer, has only a version of 3.0/01.
This content is still not activated.
Does this mean, that 0CFM_AN is only available on content release 3.0/01?

As long as the existing extractors are not affected and as long as the existing delta initializations are not affected, this will be fine. Suggest you make an analysis of the data sources before making any recommendations to your team.

ICloud content question

Sorry if this is a silly question, but here I go…. Does the iCloud actually store my files on it? If yes, how do I delete them from the cloud?

Purchased media cannot be returned for a credit or exchanged. It also can't be deleted and it is not stored in your personal account. It is only stored in the iTunes store; those are links to your previous purchases so you can easily download them to your device, if desired. You can, however, hide them in iTunes on your computer as explained here: iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. After hiding them, they will no longer appear on your device unless you unhide them again.

CC 2014 export to epub Fixed Layout Table Of Contents Question

I have an .indd which I exported to an epub 3.0
looks fine except there is a table of contents in the .indd and it does NOT work in the Epub.
I see a tuts for adding a navigation TOC in an EPub 2.0 doc but I need to have the TOC from the .indd as a linked / working TOC.
Any help here?

Ok just to add a little here so the problems I'm having are in ONE post.
The document was not made by me, I needed to go from .indd to Epub Fixed.
AS mentioned the TOC was ALREADY in the .indd as well as hyperlinks thru the document.
When I go to export as EPub Fixed I chose the TOC style ( I know there are a few options for this here like removing the original TOC and replacing with a new OR just using a navigation TOC which would be seen using an Apple Reader THAT WORKS
But, TWO things are problems, when exporting to fixed NONE generated TOC's work, new generated and original ( which I left in there just to see)
and second, ALL the hyperlinks that were working in the pdf before do NOT work in the Fixed Layout BUT I did do a flowing text export and in that those hyperlinks only WORK in the re flowable.
Any help here?

865PE NEO3-F package content question

A had a brand new motherboard break down, so the store where I bought it did send me a totally different motherboard: a 865PE NEO3-F and seemes to been used and there is no CD or nothing else in the box. I've paid for a full product and I would like to know what the package contains in a full box.
I've checked the manual online 'cus I didn't get one in the box, but it doesn't say anything about package content.
Can anyone help me out?

Many times when items are RMA'd, what you get is a refurbished item, not new. In fact, it should be stated in the replacement policies. Also, often, you only ship the item, not the accessories that come with it. Usually, this is spelled out in the RMA--at least it has with a router and UPS I've RMA'd in the past. Obviously, these conditions are not universal and each RMA process and requirements are specific to a manufacturer/product. Anytime I RMA, which has been rare, I double check to make sure I know exactly what needs to be returned. I hope you get what you deserve and owed in product replacement. Definitely contact the retailer.

I've read in previous articles that basically in the SM Portal you can't view external content links stored in the KM Articles. Is this still the case in SM 2012 R2?

Re-installing FCS and keeping old content question.

Hi
After a corrupted OS update I'm having to reinstall everything on my MacBook Pro. When I had previously installed FCS2, I installed the content on an external Firewire drive.
I'm re-installing FCS2 again but would like to use the content that was initially installed to save half a day!!!
So... If I exclude all the content during the new installation, do I just need to set the path to the old content on my Firewire drive in the prefs of Motion and DVD Studio Pro, and in the Browser of Soundtrack Pro?
Is there anything else I need to do?
