Rotate a scanned doc in W8.1

How do I rotate a document scanned in Windows 8.1 version of Adobe Reader Touch?

Reader can't rotate documents permanently, only their temporary view settings.

If it is an image you could simply click on the image in word and then use the green dot that appears above the image to simply drag and rotate the image around. Alternatively, import it into iPhoto and use the rotation capabilities in that, click edit and then quick fixes and rotate. (Then export back into word).

MSDS Group for printing PDF scanned doc held in 3rd party software database

We are using OnBase to scan docs and will be scanning MSDS docs and calling them from SAP to print.
We plan to send basic info similar to the following:
Warehouse, Customer #, Cust Name, Item #, Order #, Order Date, and Group.
There is a split in the opinion whether we need to use Group or not.
Has anyone done this that can provide insite?

How do I rotate a scanned item? For instance a landscape document is portrait.

With most scanning software you can have the scanner do the rotate automatically by making a selection. See for example:

I've uninstalled & reinstalled the new HP/Windows 7 compatible software twice and I still can't get scanned docs to save to the hard drive. The scanning process looks like it's going thru all the steps. Even asking where I want to save the file. Unfortunately, no matter where I save it, there's nothing there. I even selected the 'pic to email' option but it won't send the file to my Outlook email program either. HELP!

I found a solution that worked for me on the topic "Windows 7 & 7310" . Below is the solution:
HP have created a new workaround to make it easier to fix this problem.
All you need to do now is go to the ftp site listed below and download and run the exe file.
This exe will recognize the version of the OS you are running and put the dll in the correct place.

Which OS version are you on?
If current, you should be able to scan your documents to become one multi-page PDF - so you can just send that.
If you want them separate, you should be able to create a folder, put the documents inside, and in Finder, go to File > Compress and you will wind up with a compressed .zip file which you can attach to your email.

Best to do --- open the Scanner software user manual (one comes with a scanner and the software you have to install).
As well, review Acrobat's Help re: Scanning.
Doing these two things the best way to ensure that most times most scanning you do is understood by you.

Upgrade to Reader XI and you'll be able to use non text-related highlighting tools, such as the square, oval, cloud, polygon, etc.
With Reader X these tools are only available if the author applied a special right to the file. In Reader XI they're available by default.

My above reply was under the assumption that your scanned doc is already a PDF; if it's in a different format you will need to convert it, either using Acrobat, or the PDF Pack online service.
But most scanners can save scanned docs directly as a PDF.

After i scan docs i cannot change pages or delte pages etc.

Help I suddenly cannot extract docs and delete, nor insert docs after I scan them or combine different docs.

Something to check - Be sure the PDF is opened with Acrobat rather than Adobe Reader or some other PDV viewer.

Wish to scan doc on 3520 into non-PDF file

I wish to scan documents that I design into computer from HP 3520 as .RTF, .DOC, .DOCX - anything other than PDF as per previous versons of HP such as Deskjet. Possible rather than paying for conversion costs?

Although the HP 3520 does not have OCR as apart of the full feature software and drivers that installs, I might have an idea.
I can suggest you download and install the software for the Officejet 8500 wireless, I can not guarantee the OCR software for it will work properly with your printer, but we can try it.
Here is a another post written by @MissTeriLynn that validates my suspicion, and has the link to the software for the 8500 already. No OCR option in HP Solutions Centre.
An alternate plan is to use the Scan and edit a document option, or Google 'Free OCR software' and see what you find. There are many programs out there you could use.
Basically, once we have the OCR feature, your csan options should look something like this;

SCANNING DOCS

Hi I just bought a new computer with widowns 8.1/ 64bit- I dowloaded the all one print application and I am trying to scan some docs from the printer - so the issue that I have is when I click on icon scan it does not open it !

Is it connected with a USB or through the network?
