Rotating a page in Adobe Reader X

In Adobe Reader X how do you rotate a page to save that view?

You can't. You need Acrobat to do it.

How do i rotate a page in Adobe Reader for windows 8?

You can rotate a page in Adobe Reader XI (desktop app). None of the mobile version of Reader (i.e. Reader for iOS, Android, or Reader Touch for Windows 8) does not support page rotation yet.

  • Is it possible to rotate individual pages with Adobe read X?

Is it possible to rotate individual pages with Adobe read X, it would be really great to do this and save it especially when the document contains both landscape and portrait pages.

  • On Samsung Galaxie Tab 10.1 How do you rotate a page in Adobe Reader

Is this feature completely missing from the tablet version of the app?
Does it only works on the PC version?

    On PC:
Download Adobe Acrobat XI free trial.
    Load the PDF document.
Rotate all pages 90 degress clockwise.
    Save the document.
    On Tablet:
    Delete the PDF file.
    Download the rotated PDF file.
Open the downloaded PDF file in Adobe Reader on tablet.
Seems like a lot of trouble for such a simple thing IMHO.

  • Can I rotate pages in adobe reader for iPad.

Can I rotate pages in Adobe Reader for iPad?

Normally, the page will rotate when you rotate your iPad.
If it does not, click the Home button to return to the home screen. Click the Settings app to launch it. In the Settings list on the left, select General. In the list on the right, in the "Use Side Switch to" section, check Lock Rotation. Then check the position of the lock rotation switch on your iPad. It's found just above the volume up/down control. Make sure it's UNLOCKED.

  • Is there any way I can rotate pdf's in Adobe Reader?

I want to use Adobe Reader to view drawings when out on site, but they often open in portrait when they should be landscape.  Is there any way I can rotate the view?

Adobe Reader does not have a built in way to rotate the view, but iOS allows you to set the slider next to the volume control on your iPad to lock rotation of the device. You could set that to control rotation, and when you open a document whose pages are rotated, you could lock the device rotation, then rotate the deivce to view the page.

  • How can I print just a part of the page and not the full page with Adobe Reader v 10.1.2?

how can I print just a part of the page and not the full page with Adobe Reader v 10.1.2? I need to print a engineering print with lot of information but information is too small in letter size and I don't have a plotter.

Two ways to print a portion of a page: zooming or using the Snapshot Tool.
    ZOOMING:
Zoom into the area you want to print.
    Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure "Current view" is selected under "More options" (you may need to click "More options" to open it).
If you aren't satisfied with the preview, try clicking "Fit" under the Size button.
    SNAPSHOT
Choose Edit > Take A Snapshot.
Drag a rectangle around the area you want to print.
    Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure that "Selected Graphic" is selected under "More options".
To enlarge the snapshot to fit the sheet of paper, choose "Fit" under the Size button.
    Hope this helps!

  • How do I open a web page in Adobe Reader from ipad2?  I don't see any buttons to click. I'm new user

How do I open  a web page in Adobe Reader? I got the app for ipad2, but when a page says I need a certain version of AR, I don't know what to do. I'm a new user and don't know if I have to "open" AR and it automatically reads whatever doc I have up on the web, or is it always running and any web page I'm on should show a button to click in order to open the page in AR?

If a website says that you need a certain version of Adobe Reader, it is probably attempting to detect whether or not you have the Adobe Reader browser plugin installed. This is something that only works on desktop systems where browser plugins exist. Since browser plugins don't exist on mobile, website developers should take care to present different messages and provide different options for downloading PDF's when visited by mobile browsers. I recommend contacting the website owner and requesting that they implement access for mobile devices.

  • Inserting blank pages on Adobe Reader for Android

I'm a student and I use the Adobe Reader app for all my note-taking in lectures. If the lecture slides aren't released as .pdfs, I convert them before I go to my lecture because the Adobe Reader for Android app is so good for notetaking.
However, economics is full of graphs, and I have to draw these on my lecture pad because there's rarely enough space on the slide pdfs. Is it possible to insert empty pages on Adobe Reader for Android? If not, are there plans to make this a feature? I think it would make Adobe Reader for Android the only notetaking app students need.

Generally I just save the file as PDF in Powerpoint, but if I don't have access to a computer, I use the app PowerPoint2PDF on my Nexus 7.
iAnnotate has the ability to create blank pages when taking notes on a PDF, but it's much clunker than Adobe Reader on Android.

  • How to extract pages using adobe reader 11?

Adobe Reader has no such functionality; you will need Acrobat for this.

  • How do I fix rotation on the Android Adobe Reader?

I have a PDF displaying a page sideways on my tablet, and if I rotate the tablet to portrait, it fills more nicely but is still sideways.  Where is the rotate control?

A PDF file can have pages in different orientations - so some of them may be in portrait orientation, while the others could be in landscape. And it seems the PDF file you are dealing is of that kind.
Adobe Reader doesn't have the capability to selectively rotate pages for viewing. The only way out in this case would be lock your device's auto-orientation and then rotate it for reading that specific page.

  • Cannot print document - No pages selected - Adobe Reader XI

Using Adobe Reader XI on a Windows 8.1 machine driving a Brother DCP-7055 printer via a network-linked Windows 7 machine to print 16-page document in Booklet format.  This worked well yesterday, but this morning, with no changes to the system, so far as I am aware, I get Cannot print document - no pages selected on both the W8.1 and W7 machines.  Same result trying to print ANY pdf from either machine.  The same pdfs print OK using alternative pdf software (Nitropdf) but I need the booklet format option. Any solutions?  Any suggestions.

That 'Protected Mode' causes so many troubles (hangs, crashes, limited functionality, ...) that I have been recommending to disable it for a long time in this forum.  I don't know if Adobe is aware of the problem; maybe someone should report it officially: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
I personally have never experienced the problem; I have Protected Mode enabled on all my systems.  But there are so many reports in this forum every week that it's clear that something is wrong with it.

  • There is a problem in printing consecutive pages in Adobe Reader 10.1.2.

Example of printing from Adobe Reader 10.1.2:  If I enter page 9 in the Adobe screen and print screen, it will not print page 9, but may print page 5 or another number.  There is a disconnect between the page I  want to print and the page it will print.

There are various printing problems in Reader 10.1.2; please update to the latest Reader version 10.1.3.

  • Gray pages running Adobe Reader on a MAC

All I get are gray pages when I open a PDF. Nothing shows on the pages. I can scull up and down but I can't see anything.
I have deleted the program, rebooted and reinstalled Adobe Reader but I still get the same result.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Tegpipe01,
Please try below steps and check the workflow:
Delete the below mentioned files from the following location “/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/”
    AdobePDFViewer.plugin
    AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
Once you have deleted the above files please download and reinstall Reader.
    Regards,
    Anand
