Rotating in CS5 Flash without Skew

Hi,
I'm a Flash newbie. I'm trying to rotate a symbol while keeping the shape and proportions locked, but even when using Free Transform, my shapes skew (from rectangles to rhombuses to squares). I'd like to keep the lines straight and parallel. Locking the height and width with the link tool doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anyone know how to rotate shapes without the automatic re-proportioning?

Not sure if it's relevant, but I realized that perhaps I should have clarified that I'm attempting to do this with a symbol. When I use the Free Transform rotation tool, I still get automatic skewing-- this is the issue I'm trying to prevent. Even when I simply rotate 360 degrees, my shape changes...

Forgive the noobness, but I'm trying to find out why I can't open a SWF file in CS5 Flash Pro.
When I attempt to open the file, it opens in a box as seen in this screeen cap.

Your version of Flash is too old to be able to open the files from that tutorial. The tutorial is using either CS4 or CS5.

CS5 Flash Animation Size Question

Hello. I have a problem while using CS5 Flash Pro. I am trying to create a moving background and need to copy and paste very large images onto the stage. However, when I try and line them all up in a row, the stage screen does not expand to allow me to see all of my work. How do I set it so that the stage screen shows all of my work when I copy and paste images and line them up in a row.

I have it set as Show All. As you can see, I am trying to put the second pannel next to the first pannel to make one giant line of pannels. However, the stage with the image does not reveal or increase in size when I move both pannels next to each other or drag it to the edge. Notice how I cannot see everything even when I have it as "Show All" and you can see another image that is cut off to the side of the stage. This is a clear problem because I can't see everything that I need to see and the "See All" feature doesn't appear to help at all....

1) does AE have or can be made to perform Photoshop or Flash distort, skew, warp etc. transformations?, (these save incomparable time in path editing rather than AE's limited transforms and manual point and tangent realignments)
2) when shape(mask) tweening in AE is it capable of what Flash calls ease-in/out, or what Illustrator and CorelDRAW calls "speed"or "acceleration" respectivly?

Converting rotatation value from flash into svg

Here i am taking the rotation value from flash and
transfering into svg by the forumlae and getting varibale fdeg then
also it is not coming in the position seen in flash window which is
not in svg file.
And also check the formulae is right to convert the value
from angle to degree.
if We scale the object it comes in right scaled and right x
and y position. only if We rotate the rotated object is in correct
angle but not in correct x,y axis position

I work for a company that has offices worldwide, but do not have the budget to upgrade all licences which is why I need to keep InDesign/Illustrator CS3.
I wish to switch from Final Cut Express to Adobe Premier Pro/After Effects (I don't like the new Final Cut Pro X - for many reasons)
Can I upgrade to Master Collection CS5.5 without uninstalling Design Premium CS3?

I want to put a flash player on my site, however with dreamweaver the "insert movie" option puts a ton code in my markup to the point where i cant even tell what im looking at. Is there any way to use flash without all the bloat?

Yes and no. Some bloat as you call it is necessary to support all browsers. That said, this on-line tool takes your Flash code and converts it to valid XHTML Strict standards. In the process, the code is minimized a bit. Be sure to test in an XHTML Strict doc type page.

CS5 Flash Brush Tool and Stage Issue

I have two issues while using CS5 Flash right now and it's driving me crazy.
For the first issue. (Number 1)
How do I make it so that the dots do not appear after I draw something with the brush? Whenever I draw something with the brush and select it with the mouse, it goes into a, "Dot" image that is shown in the image. This should not happen. I remember there was a setting that made it so that all objects drawn by the brush are completely solid when you select it with the mouse tool. Which setting is this?
For the second issue, (Number 2)
How do I expand the overall working stage that I use within my image? Whenever I click and drag and object to the right, it gives me a bit more room to see the overall object when I zoom out. But than it stops. How do I make the overall stage larger so I can see all of my objects that I have?

select the brush tool. in the properties panel is a smoothing parameter that you can adjust from 0 to 100. try 0 and see if that's what you want.

If you registered CS4 then you might be able to find the serial number for it in your Adobe account online. If not, you still might be able to get someone in chat to assist you with getting it.

How can I update Flash WITHOUT installing Chrome?

How can I update Flash WITHOUT installing Chrome? I keep getting update messages. I go throught the download and install process but there is no option to un-check installing Chrome. I don't want Chrome. I'm not asking for Chrome. I just want to update Flash.

There are a few threads around here with this same issue, and as far as I know Adobe has not addressed it adequately. Many of us, when we are prompted with an update for Flash, are not given the option to opt out of installing google toolbar and google chrome.
Adobe is playing cute, pretending to be surprised at such reports. They always demand screenshots of it, and then ignore them when the screenshots are posted. Then demand screenshots in the next thread with the same issue, feigning surprise that such an isue could occur. Sometimes they insist it isnt happening or it is somehow user error (as if it is user error to simply allow the update from their app to install after getting the update message from their app! )
The problem , in my case, was that the update goes to a URL that autoselects chrome and toolbar. I found if I manually edited the URL, that it would not automatically install chrome and toolbar.
Basically the URL has to be manually edited , so take out the " &a=Google_Toolbar_7.4&a=Google_Chrome_22.0_IE_Browser " at the end AND the "&dualoffer=true&chromedefault=true" bit in the middle. Then it will give you the opt-out. Then do make sure to uncheck the box, obviously And it is obvious that the users are not doing this on purpose, this is built into Adobe's updater, somewhere.
