Rotation and email

I would like to see two things in the bridge that I use all the time in my Nikon View. One is that bridge would recognize my rotation from the camera file and auto rotate (now that you and Nikon are buddies again) and that you could click on some images and email them as individual or contact sheets right from the bridge.

I'd suggest you post the problems you're having with Nikon raw files in the Camera Raw forum. The devil's in the detail. You need to say exactly which camera you're using, which version of Nikon View, whether the camera rotates the image or you do so manually in NV, operating system etc. I don't find such a problem with D100 raws, rotated in NV 6.2.6 on XP Pro.

Since IOS 6 update, malfunction with auto rotate and sounds

Hello. I'm wondering if others have experienced a problem since updating their IPads. Since the update, I've lost the dual functionality of auto-rotate and sounds. I can only have 1 of the functions operate as per norm. If I want sounds (for keyboard clicks/games/etc.) my screen will not auto orient. Vice versa for auto orientation. Normal rotation is only possible with NO SOUND for the previously mentioned apps. I've performed reboots, and also endeavoured to make the obvious corrections in the General Settings fields. When I uncheck "MUTE"...it automatically places a checkmark in the lock rotation field!!!
Can anyone offer a solution, to what i perceive, as a software issue?

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Fast image rotation and contrast adaptation

First: I'm new in vision processing.
I'm using LabView 8.0 with the IMAQ Vision development module. The aim is to control the angle and the contrast of a precalculated image (a greyscale wedge) in a fast loop with a framerate of 60 or 100Hz. Currently I use the time-consuming IMAQ rotate and IMAQ BCG functions. All these function works very fine but a litle bit to slow for my application. I have measure: IMAQ rotate with 40ms and IMAQ BCG with 15ms for an image with 1024 x 768 pixels (8-bit greyscale) on a new PC. I know that an arbitrary rotation is a processor intensive task.
Please correct me, but i assume that with IMAQ rotate the image rotation will be carried out in the PC RAM. Afterwards the recalculated image will be written in the grafic memory. In a final step the image will be displayed on the monitor by mean of the grafic processor.
I can imagine there exist a solution or some ideas in the LabView community to use the high end 3D very fast grafic card processor for the rotation and contrast tasks. I hope the approach will accelerate the time of calculation.

You might as well send the image once (each time it changes), and rotate it with opengl.

If I understand correctly, you just want a gradient screen to rotate, and to be able to adjust it's contrast.
This can be done a lot easier without an image. If you use OpenGL, you can just draw two triangles with there color set correctly. (You'd be able to make nice rainbow pictures as a bonus.)
An C/C++ application, or dll, could be made in a few hours by someone experienced with opengl and c++. You could even create an opengl window, and control it with LabVIEW. In other opengl applications there are some practical problems, but some might not matter to your application. Biggest problem is getting feedback (mouse clicks, close, move, resize window etc.) from the OpenGL window to LabVIEW.
Opening a opengl window, rotating a few polygons, adjusting color, closing window certainly doable.

Weird rotation and swiping

Just an observation about the rotation and swiping on the Z10.
I normally have the Z10 in a charging dock which has it lying on its side.
The screen and icons are to the side and so I have to swipe from right to left. When it moves to the active screens (say emails) it then rights itself and shows this screen upright and I then swipe from the bottom of the screen to the top.
Why if it a landscape mode, don't all screens don't work in that manner and you have to move between swiping across (and turning your head!) and up (or annoyingly take it out of the dock)?

What you're seeing is known, and likely will be corrected in coming OS releases. BlackBerry needs to make all screens rotatable.. and some users say this issue is exactly why BlackBerry itself has yet to release the OEM charging dock.

Can you rotate an email in iphone 5 s

Can I rotate an email in a iphone 5s?

If the attachment is an image, you'd have to save the image to the camera roll and then use an image editing app to rotate it.
EDIT: Ah, its a PDF. Then you'll have to find a PDF app that can rotate files and open the PDF in there.
The Mail app just shows images and PDFs exactly as they are sent.
Or just ask the sender to re-send the image the right way up.

Custom rotate and free rotate

I have a new PC that came with Adobe Photoshop, Everything works except for the Custom Rotate and Free Rotate functions; these are disabled. How do I get them to work?

Running AppleScript with Adobe Acrobat to rotate and crop file.

I constantly receive PDF files from a third party service provider that I always have to ROTATE and CROP in order to fit perfectly into labels that are perforated.
The Label sheets are 8-up (2 x 4). If I print it as is, they DON'T fall where they supposed to. I can't get the trird party service provider to alter the way they supply the PDF files (they just not helpful). I thought it is still easier for me to do the neccesary adjustments.
What I want to do is:
(1) rotate the document (multi-page PDF) 180 deg
(2) crop leading edge 3mm.
(3) if possible, I want it to be able to watch a folder and do this automatically as PDFs are dropped into a defined folder (can be set permananetly) and save OVER the old file.
I know AppleScript can do this (I think), but I don't have the expertise on AppleScript to write the commands.
Can anyone help?

Thanks for the reply. I can still open the file in excel and I understand that I can redirect the file to open in another program. But it doesn't solve my problem that when I email the file to someone else it tries to open the file as a pdf (which it basically isn't) and gives the error message that its an unsupported file type. What I am really looking for is a way to stop it from saving an excel file as an adobe file even when I choose the file format as an excel workbook when I save it.

Dynamic CRM 2013 Online how to execute Report, generate PDF and email

I am using Dynamic CRM 2013 online. For quote, I have workflow and Dialogue processes for review process. On approval, I want the system to generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer.
Better I would like, When approver, clicks on the approve button, the system should auto generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer, without any further input from the user. If its not possible, I may have to put button on
quote form.

not possible unless the app supports that behaviour. but email notifications and on notification lights has been broken on Symbian for a while, and as Symbian is in maintenance mode, is unlikely to see a fix, possibly ever.

How do I change my username and email address?

I am unable to find where to change my iTunes Store username and email address. There's nowhere on this site to be able to change it. Can I only change it through iTunes?

You can edit your Apple ID(which is your iTunes Store account name) via Apple's My Apple ID website https://appleid.apple.com/com by following these steps:
1.) Click "Manage your account" on the right hand side of the page.
2.) Click edit next to your Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
3.) Edit your account name to the desired email address.
4.) Click Save Changes.

How do I change password and email address?

I cannot change my password and email address because I am based in the UK and not in the US. When I try to make a change and save it, it says I have made a mistake on the fields marked red and asks me to complete the parts in red including: the state I live in and because I am not in a state it doesn't allow me to change my details. It also has a problem with my country's telephone code. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Performance issues with Motion (position, scale, rotate) and GTX 590

I'm experiencing performance issues with my Premiere Pro CC when I scale, position or rotate a clip in the program monitor.
I have no performance issues with playback! It's only, when i move something with the mouse or by changing the x,y-values of Position in the Motion-Dialog in video effects.
Premiere then lags terribly and updates the program monitor only about once per second - this makes it very difficult and cumbersome to work and position things.
On a second Premiere installation on my laptop, performance is fine and fluid - allthough it doesn't have GPU support and is a much slower computer.
I'm pretty sure this has somehow to do with my graphic card, which is a Nvidia GTX 590.
I was told by the support, that it is actually a dual graphic card, which is not supported/liked by Premiere.
The thing is, until the latest Premiere update, I did not have performance issues at all with this card.
I also read on the forum that others with the GTX 590 did not experience any problems with it
So where does this come from?
There is no change in performance whether or not I activate Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration.
I also tried deactivating one of the 2 gpus, but there also was no change.
Does anyone else know this problem and has anyone a solution?

I am suffering from the same phenomenon since I updated just before christmas, I think.
I am hardly able to do scaling, rotating and translating in the program monitor itslef - whil motion has been highlighted in teh effect controls.
In the effect controls I can scale, rotate etc however.
Also I have noticed there is a yellow box with handles in teh program monitor. I remember it was white before.
I cannot figure out what to change in my preferences. What has happened?

Problem with rotation and keyboard click sound

Ok, there's still a problem with the rotation and keyboard click sound and I thought I had the problem fixed.
It's a serious bug when you want the keyboard click sound enbabled without having the rotation locked. I noticed this bug started when I had the previous iosinstalled 7.0.6.
Everytime I wanted to enable the keyboard click sound, I have to always go to settings and have lock rotation checked. And it would stay locked.
If I wanted to rotate my iPad, I have to have mute enabled, but no keyboard click sound.
I know it sounds confusing. I'm already confused... beh.
