Rotation of picture in quicktime?

hello,
can someone tell me how to make a rotation of picture in quicktime?
thanks

Rotating the image requires QT Pro. Open MovieProperties, click on the video track and then open Visual Settings. You should then see bottons with circular arrows that rotate 90 degrees left or right.

    Drat it all ... Sorry, that's Videos I gave you instructions for, not pictures.
    Pictures, I don't think you need Pro for.
    Right-click the image file you want to rotate. Select "Open with > PictureViewer" or "Open with > Choose Program" and select PictureViewer from the list.
    In PictureViewer, go "Image > Rotate Left" or "Image > Rotate right".
    Once you've got it rotated, go "File > Export" and choose a filename and filetype. Then save the rotated version.

    Ctrl-t on windows and command-t on a mac. That with let you rotate, scale and skew a picture on a layer.
    Image>Image rotation>{Choose one} That will rotate the entire document by what you choose.

  • Rotating a picture in Flex Mobile

    Our mobile app which serves Android and iOs, contains feature which allows users to take a picture and upload the picture to a remote server.
    Everything is working fine, except that iOs rotates the picture. I read http://forums.adobe.com/message/3788374#3788374 which does a great job detailing the steps you need to take to figure out whether the picture is rotated or not.
    What is missing in this discussion is which code to write to actually rotate the picture. This must be something very trivial, but it alludes me.
    Is there anyone who can shed some light on this?
    Thanks,
    -Rogier

    I am using below code for HTML files
    private var appFile:String="index.html";
    if (StageWebView.isSupported)
                        currentState = "normal";
                        webView.stage = stage;
                        webView.viewPort = new Rectangle( 10, 130, (stage.stageWidth)-20, 750 );
                        var fPath:String = new File(new File("app:/assets/html/aboutus/"+ appFile).nativePath).url;
                        webView.loadURL(fPath);
                        addEventListener(ViewNavigatorEvent.REMOVING,onRemove);
                    else {
                        currentState = "unsupported";
                        lblSupport.text = "StageWebView feature not supported";
    above code is working fine for me.

  • Why can't I Rotate the pictures in my stationary?

    I think the subject says it all but if you need more... When I dragged the photos in the photo areas within the stationary all of my pictures rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise. And I don't know how to put them to their rightful alignment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I dont think you can do this (yet). At least, I cant do it either. The best solution would be to crop and rotate the picture in Preview or iPhoto and then drag it into the stationary.

  • TS3989 My iPod flashes then turns off when I try to rotate a picture,what do I do?

    Ok so I want to rotate a picture and press on that little ➡ and it looks like it's turning off but then it flashes and turns on again by itself!how do I fix it?;(

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    How do i rotate my pictures streamed from i phone 4s to laptop. There is an error message, some of my pictures wont rotate

    Sync the photos to a computer.  (Connect device to itunes and go to the device's Photo tab for info.)  Once on the computer, you can edit them, etc. and send them out for printing.
    Photos are not stored on icloud, except as part of a backup to icloud (if such a backup is turned on and Photos are included).  Always sync photos to a computer for archiving.

  • Faces don't rotate with picture

    If you use the rotate button when viewing pictures, the faces do not rotate with the picture

    I encountered this issue too and Apple acknowledged this as a defect. If you rotate a picture 90 degrees where none of the faces are tagged the face boxes distort and shift. DO NOT REMOVE THE BOXES. iPhoto still sees these boxes in the right position. There are two ways to fix this.
    1. Rotate the photo back to its original orientation.
    2. Tag one of the faces on the photo, leave the photo, and come back to the photo.
    Either of these options should fix this distortion of the face boxes.

  • Video clips have perfect audio but no picture in Quicktime, VLC has perfect audio and jittery picture... How is this fixed?

    I have a Canon 550D and a class 6 Sandisk extreme 3 card which I have been taking great photos and film clips.
    Yesterday I captured some content and when I put it into my macbook pro, the images were clear as per usual however the videos only appeared to play the audio in aperture 3 and also in quicktime.
    I then tried the videos in VLC and it had perfect audio once again but with picture this time. This picture quality seemed to freeze.be jittery.
    Has anyone had/fixed this before..?? The content I have captured was of a once off opportunity for work...

    hi,
    thanks. i already have that. wmp 9 for the mac. (i forgot to post that in my list.)
    every darn thing i have does the same thing.
    audio but not video
    i clicked on "open in rosetta" for flip4mac and now it does open once more but the same...no video.
    i don't understand why nothing is working.
    do i have to upgrade fliprmac and buy it to make it work? i am not going to do that tho.
    this is really frustrating.
    i'm curious - suppose i send it to you - unless i can put it here somehow - and see if you can
    open and listen and watch?
    i tried it on my ibook and the same thing happened.

  • How do i rotate the pictures when i download them to my windows 7 computer

    I have downloaded my pictures from my Iphone 4s to my computer and all the pictures are sideways. How can I turn them up right? I have tried everything.

    This isn't really anything to do with Apple, except the fact you imported them from your iPhone. It depends on what application you are using, but the default 'Windows Picture Viewer' has the ability to rotate photos. Simply search for the rotate icon or check the File and Edit menus at the top. If you really are having trouble, type your question into google and you're sure to find an answer fast.

  • How do you rotate a "picture within a picture" at a custom degree level?

    I want to rotate an image I'm inserting in a video clip 3 degrees. However, I need to do so when I'm in imovie. Does anyone know how to custom rotate pictures/videos in Imovie? Or at least tell me where I can download an app that can.

    short answer: No.
    Use any paint-processor (Pixelmator, Photoshop/elements, Gimp, ...) and rotate your image BEFORE inserting into iMovie.
    'free' rotating of images and videos is a privilege, the Big Toys only offer (FinalCut/express et al)

  • IPhoto Rotating Imported Pictures Randomly

    Hey,
    Ive been having this problem for a while through multiple Mac OS updates/Phone updates.  I've got a 2008 Macbook Pro (Ancient I know) and an IPhone 5.  It is running the latest Mavericks OS and the phone is up to date.  Anyway, it always seems to randomly rotate pictures taken with my IPhone.  Sometimes landscape shots are upside down, sometimes portrait shots are sideways.  Even in a string of pictures taken within moments of each other at the same angle, a single photo will be rotated (sometimes multiple).  I cant seem to fix it and it is extremely annoying.  Please help!
    Thanks in advance
    -Chase

    Which iPhoto version are you using?
    Try to find out, if the orientation flags on the original image files are correct.
    Select one of the correct Portrait shots and one of the incorrectly oriented Portrait shots and reveal the original files in the Finder (File > Reveal in Finder > Original File). Then open this file in Preview and show the Inspector (Tools > Show Inspector).
    If the image has an orientation flag, you will see it in the "General" tab of the Inspector.
    Is there difference between the correctly oriented photos and the ones with the wrong orientation?

  • Auto-rotating portrait pictures in iPhoto Library

    I'm using iPhoto 6.0.5 (316) and when I started importing photos from my old Windows PC, all of my portrait shots were auto-rotated in the library which is awesome. But I just noticed that the last several rolls I've imported aren't doing that. All the images are from the same camera so I'm not quite sure what I did (if anything) to cause the difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The orientation tag is part of the image files EXIF data recorded by your camera when the picture is taken. If iPhoto sees the orientation tag it rotates the image for you.
    Unfortunately, there are lots of things you can do to inadvertently strip an image file of the EXIF data. For example, early versions of iPhoto would export photos with most of the EXIF data removed, at least the makernotes portions.
    Did you open or view the photos that didn't rotate in any software that you didn't use with the others? If so, that may be what happened.

  • Preview - Rotate a picture and resave it WITHOUT changing the date?

    Hi all,
    Is there a way in Preview to save a picture, but have it NOT change the date of the picture? I usually run into this problem when I download pictures from my cellphone. Lets say I take some snapshots with my phone, some vertical some horizontal. My phone is dumb and doesn't rotate them, so they all come up the same way. What I usually do it select all the ones that need rotated, open them (all at once) in preview, select all of them push "rotate" and then do a save all. It will then "batch" rotate them, but now they come up out of order from the other ones because apparently whenever you "resave" anything from Preview, it saves it with the current date and time, vs the time the picture was originally taken.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,
    I'm afraid that it's not possible to preserve the file modification date when rotating an image with the Preview application.
    One possible alternative would be using the Image Capture application to import your pictures and rotate them beforehand. Image Capture is less convenient than Preview, but it works and it sets the file creation, modification and even last access dates to the time the shot was taken (as recorded in the EXIF data of the JPEG image).
    By the way, Image Capture performs the rotation without touching the actual data at all by simply adjusting the orientation tag (same as Preview does if you select "Save As" and "Rotate without modifying contents" on every single image).
