Rounded border in table but rectangle lines still visible

How can I show only the rounded outline of a table? I've selected rounded border, and that shows up, but so does the rectangle of the table shape. Is there a way to get rid of that so that only the rounded border shows? The rounded border works perfectly for a text box.

For each corner cell in the table set the border edges to 'None'.

  • User Account deleted, but Home folder still visible

    Deleted a user account within the System Preferences > Accounts and restarted the computer, but the "deleted" account is still visible under Finder > Users.
    It failed to delete the account when I tried to 1st option of saving to .DMG - so I chose the 3rd option i.e.: to remove the Home folder. this seemed to work OK as the User Account is no longer presented as available to Login.
    Don't understand why?
    Thanks

    Apple offers the option saving the user file as a disk image or delete the account, but keep the files in the account, or get rid of it entirely. The first two options make it possible to recreate the user account. You must move the file out of the User directory to rename (remove (deleted)) from the name. Place the folder back into the User directory and create another login using the same name as the file and the system will ask you if you want to use the above mentioned folder as the home folder. Click yes and the user is back as if it never left.
         Why would I want to bother? You might find that there was something left in the user folder that you want to retrieve. Another reason, I consider even more significant is if I am having problems with a user account and it is isolated to that account, I will use this method to hopefully clear up any corruption within the account.

  • How to Put Border Around Table, But Without Interior Gridlines?

    1) I want to use tables in pages without a solid line border on the exterior, but can't seem to do this without making the table have lines or gridlines in the interior of the table around the various cells, which I do not want. How can I do this?
    2) Is there any way to permanently turn off gridlines in tables when I use them in a pages document?

    I answered my own question from another forum. Here it is:
    Select your table.
    Open the Inspector.
    Choose the Table tab (third one).
    From the Cell Borders section, click on the internal lines button (2nd last one) and choose "None" for line selection.
    Now select the external border button and choose the appropriate line thickness and colour.

  • Credit Status "Not allowed" but schedule line still confirmed

    I have a little issue. I know is sth from configuration, but I don't remember where it is.
    When automatic credit check is performed, and a sales order goes to "Credit Not allowed" I would like the position of the order remains unconfirmed, in order to leave the stock free for other orders.
    Now the system leave the schedule lines created, confirmed, even when credit stock is "not allowed". Could sb help on this?
    Regards

    Hi Eduardo Vartorelli
    For the Sales Order to stop the flow of requirements to MRP You have to set the status in the requirement.
    Go to T code OVB8 and then set what is your requirement in the routine.
    Currently the routine checks only for credit status in VBUK - CMGST if the status is B then it will not transfer the requirements to the MRP.
    I am not sure what is the Credit status of your document in the VBUK. If its not "B" and still you want to hold the requirements then you can modify the routine to handle your new requirement.
    If the status is B and then the requirements are trasnfering then you need to put a Break point in the rouitne and check if the routine is actually getting called or not.
    The Program Name is LV07A101.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Navbar - line still visible

    Many have recommended adding your own nav bar in Iweb to make it more spiderable.
    But, when I go to insp and deselect it,and add my own nav bar, the line that was under the original nav bar is still there. (see insideoutprofiling.com homepage). how do you get this line off? It seems to have been part of the template for the nav bar.
    Also, the Rage SEO tool that is often recommended - is that the Rage Google sitemap automater? If not - can you give me a direct link to it please!? Thank you. You guys are being so great and helpful!!

    Some of the themes do have default images and the line is most likely that. I couldn't remove it from my pages either so just made it part of the design, even adding a new line at one end to make it look like it was centered on the page. This appears to apply to only certain themes.
    And I think I'm correct to say that this delineates the Header (above the line) from the content. Menu:View: show layout ... will show the area boundaries.
    You could move your own Navigation bar above this line into the header itself:
    Multiple select your links and hold the command key down as you drag them up above this line, into the header.
    Then draw a thicker line and place it on the theme's line: you can't place it 'on top' to hide it, but if you use the right colour you could camouflage it to match the texture of your other lines.
    You can also increase the top/bottom padding (in the page inspector, layout tab)
    Hope this helps
    Elizabeth

  • Every once in a while when I open my mail or a page I get nothing but strange lines of symbols.  Many of the symbols are black triangles with question marks in the center.  I completely reset it like new, but problem still exists

    Every once in a while when I open my mail or open a page I get lines of strange symbols like black triangles with question marks in the center.  I have reset the ipad2 to new condition but the problem still exists.

    A reset does not make tthe iPad "like new."
    First, let's ensure that we agree on just what is a Reset...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
    If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • Correct "clip" for background with round border

    Hi all. I'm having a problem with a round border and a round background. If you look at the code below you will see that I have a border specified with a radius of 5. If I run this, the background sticks outside of the border. If I also set the background to have a radius of 5, it still doesn't look correct as the outside of the border turns purple whereas I would expect it to be light red. If I change the background radius to 4 then the inside of the border doesn't quite match up to the background.
    How do I set a border and just say the background should be "clipped" by it?
    Thanks, Nick.

    This is actually a kind of tricky question to answer well.
    The standard caspian.css stylesheet for JavaFX 2.2 makes almost no use of borders.
    The standard caspian controls have things that look like borders or highlighted edges, but these are almost always implemented by layered backgrounds.
    For instance a focus ring around a button is a blue background which is layered underneath the button background, making the ring look like a border, even though it's not.
    I don't really know why the layered background approach was chosen over a border + background approach. Possible reasons are:
    - it's easier.
    - it performs better.
    - it provides a better visual experience.
    Maybe it is one or all of the above.
    Regardless, I think there was likely some good reason why the layered background approach was chosen, so you'd probably best stick to it.
    One advantage of using this approach is there are lots of similar examples in caspian.css that you can copy from and use.
    A sample css style string for your sample app using layered borders, might be something like:
    -fx-padding: 1;  -fx-background-insets: 0, 1;  -fx-background-radius: 5, 5;  -fx-background-color: firebrick, forestgreen;By playing around with combinations of layered backgrounds, padding and background-insets you can achieve, borders around your controls which can be either entirely enclosed within your control's standard layout or outside of it (like the focus ring), so that when you add something like a focus ring around your control it doesn't shift the control's onscreen position - it really just surrounds the control.
    An updated version of your sample app which uses this is below:
    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.scene.*;
    import javafx.scene.control.Label;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;
    public class RoundTest extends Application {
      @Override public void start(Stage stage) throws Exception {
    //    System.setProperty("prism.lcdtext", "false");
        StackPane stackPane = new StackPane();
        Scene scene = new Scene(stackPane, 500, 500, true);
        stackPane.setStyle(
            "-fx-background-color: cornsilk;"
          + " -fx-border-insets: 10;"
          + " -fx-border-color: rgba(128, 128, 128, 0.5)"
        Label label = new Label("Hello");
        label.setStyle(
    //        "-fx-padding: 5;"
    //      + " -fx-background-insets: 0, 5;"
    //      + " -fx-background-radius: 5, 5;"
            "-fx-padding: 1;"
          + " -fx-background-insets: 0, 1;"
          + " -fx-background-radius: 5, 5;"
          + " -fx-background-color: firebrick, forestgreen;"
          + " -fx-text-fill: whitesmoke;"
    //    label.setScaleX(5);
    //    label.setScaleY(5);
        stackPane.getChildren().add(new Group(label));
        stage.setScene(scene);
        scene.setCamera(new PerspectiveCamera());
        stage.show();
      public static void main(String[] args) { launch(args); }
    }Now for some other questions you raise:
    If I run this, the background sticks outside of the borderYeah the background radius and border radius properties are independent, so if you use a rounded border, you also need to use a rounded background or the background will overflow the border corners.
    If I also set the background to have a radius of 5, it still doesn't look correct as the outside of the border turns purple whereas I would expect it to be light redJavaFX 2.2 uses anti-aliasing in pretty much all of it's rendering (and even another trick for lcd called sub-pixel rendering of text in some cases). Your border is only one pixel wide. If the border isn't sitting exactly on a pixel boundary, it's going to be blended with the background. Even if the straight sides of the border sit exactly on the pixel boundary, when the border turns the corners, the anti-aliasing algorithms will kick in blending the border corner and the background around the inside edge of the corner.
    You chose a green background and a red border. When you mix those two colors, you get purple (which is what is happening).
    I don't know of anyway to enable or disable anti-aliased rendering for JavaFX scene graph objects (perhaps something to do that might come along for the ride with the 3D scene graph support in Java 8).
    Regardless, you probably want anti-aliasing engaged for your rendering anyway. So you should develop your app knowing that anti-aliasing will happen. To do this, choose colors which blend well when anti-aliased. Caspian does this by deriving a lot of the outer background colors from the inner background colors (i.e. just lightening or darkening the border). This works well because they have the same base rgb component mixture, just in different portions, so the anti-aliasing mixes them seamlessly. Choosing full colors at opposite ends of the rgb spectrum such as red and blue result in jarring mixtures like purple. Even if the anti-aliasing wasn't involved, your eyes can play tricks on you and have difficulty clearly seeing the border between these kind of colors due to the weird optics of the eyes.
    Another strategy to alleviate nasty blending is to use more pixels, e.g. instead of a one pixel border, use a two pixel border - the anti-aliasing blending will be far less noticeable. Using the greater pixel strategy works very well in conjunction with newer higher resolution screens (so called retina displays), where the pixels themselves are so small that the human eye is unable to distinguish the pixels and the way they blend.
    All that said - your original example with the rounded borders and background doesn't look too bad to me :-)
    One other issue I came across when testing this is that there is a -fx-border-style css attribute which can have values of centered, inside and outside, and when I tried to set it I got messages like:
    WARNING: com.sun.javafx.css.parser.CSSParser declaration CSS Error parsing in-line style '-fx-padding: 1; -fx-background-insets: 0, 1; -fx-background-radius: 5, 5; -fx-background-color: firebrick, forestgreen; -fx-border-style: inside; -fx-text-fill: whitesmoke;' from javafx.scene.Node$22@1bd5d8ab: Unsupported <border-style> 'inside' while parsing '-fx-border-style' at [1,138]
    The css reference guide notes that the border functionality copies from the w3c backgrounds and border functionality, but there is no inside, outside, centered border style in the w3c css reference, so I guess there is some error in the JavaFX 2 css documentation there around what is supported and what is implemented from the w3c css reference. Note that I'm not really advocating that the JavaFX css processing should match the w3c css reference as I find the w3c system complicated and difficult to understand.
    http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/doc-files/cssref.html#region
    http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-background/#border-style
    Perhaps as borders in css don't seem to be used much in JavaFX, the documentation issue isn't such a big one.

  • How to make a round border around my picture?

    I am trying to design a logo that would fit into the center of a Frisbie, yet I cannot figure out how to make a round border around the picture. I have tried using the eliptical tool, and have also tried using the cookie cutter. The only option I can get to work with the eliptical tool, is the feather, yet I can't change the pixel number for some reason, so it just makes a thin circle around the picture. I thought I could cut and paste it, but the copy and cut options were grayed out and didn't work. When I used the cookie cutter, it made a nice border, and I pasted the picture into it, but, there are four sections that need to be filled in with the background color and the paintbucket didn't work in those spaces (they are the gray and white checked areas. (the picture ends up looking like a rectangle inside of a circle). So I made a new blank file and filled it in with the color of the picture's background, hoping to use the cookie cutter tool around the picture that was now pasted into the new blank file (I chose another color for the round border) and I used the cookie cutter around the picture, but when it was finished, the whole picture ended up being white. All I want to do is to make a border around a picture (a round border). Nothing I have done has worked though. What am I doing wrong, or what are some other options for trying to do this? Thanks.

    Here is a simple way to add a border. Select the item, add a blank layer, choose the border size and color and the Outside option:
    Here is the result:
    Note that you don't even need to do the Stroke on a blank layer. You can Stroke directly on the picture layer. However having the blank layer preserves the picture in case you want to start again with different Stroke options.
    If this is not what you are looking to do, please clarify.

  • Table: show the line of lead selection

    Hello,
    I have a table with 691 lines, showing 20 lines per page. Is it possible to change the lead selection for example to line 60 and also jump to line 60. So that the table automatically shows the 3rd page with the line 60 - 80.
    I can change the lead selection with:
    node_trefferliste->set_lead_selection_index( index = 60 ).
    Lead selection is set correctly to 60 but the table still shows the lines 1- 20.
    best regards
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,
    What ever you have done is correct. One thing you need to change is whenever you change the lead selection for you table you need to scroll ALV also. For that get the lead selected entry and set it as frst_visible_row for you ALV table. Please do this coding in the respective view controller method WDDOMODIFYVIEW(). so that you will get exact result what you are expecting.
    I hope i make you clear.
    Warm Regards,

  • CS4 anti tables but need that same design. help

    Water
    i'd want content here
    aligned left with link at bottom
    i'd insert video here(not having problem
    with this)
    and here i'd have a
    pic in the background
    with hyper links
    in a numbered format
    pic goes in ok text ends up at
    bottom of page
    So I want to have the look of a table three columns row (possibly stacked more on) . kinda like this. I can make the box in css with a new rule but i'm having trouble putting content in it. I can put text on the first line but when i press enter to go down a line it takes me out of the box. also need things to line up nicely. on my page I have header side bar with spry menu bar

    Also, for what it's worth... tables are slowly being phased out as the css styles are progressing and becoming the preferred page styling tool, but it is still possible to use tables on your page - and those tables can be used as just the "shell" and all attributes (background color, fonts, etc) can still be determined by css if preferred. Tables ain't dead yet, and CS4 still has all of the tools in place to use them if that is what you're more comfortable with...
    *Please note: Before I receive a flood of contradictory responses - I do recommend learning css and using the link pziecina provided as a starting point... just saying tables still are recognized across all browsers and still a viable option...
    Good luck,
    Jesse

  • Spry table, vertical grid lines

    How do you format a table so the vertical grid lines show up.
    I have the roll over effect working for rows in the table, but the
    tables are large enough that is can be difficult to follow columns
    straight down. I would like black vertical line to appear between
    columns.
    thanks.

    If I understand you right, you wish to have spreadsheet type
    columns. In that case this is not a Spry question but an HTML and
    CSS question.
    In CSS the format would look something like:
    #mytable th {
    text-align: left;
    padding: 3px;
    font-weight: bold;
    border:1px solid #AAA;
    background-color: #EFEFEF;
    In the above example I am formatting a heading cell.
    In IE, if the cell is empty there will be no border, thus it
    is best to populate the cell with a space as in '   '.
    I hope this helps.

  • Bug? Text field & Button are still visible when solid-filled rectangle is placed on top of them

    Adobe Live Cycle 7.1
    It cannot work when i tried to make the text field and button invisible without JavaScript:
    1. Create a text field with any default value and button.
    2. Create a filled color rectangle.
    3. Set the rectangle on top of all objects (right click it and select "bring to front")
    4. View in Pdf.
    5. Result:
    Text field's caption and border are invisible (covered by rectangle) ,but the text field's raw value and the button are visible.
    Is this a bug?

    It's difficult to tell. I can see what you're trying to accomplish but it's possible that Acrobat is giving priority to fillable fields over static objects (such as the rectangle) regardless of z-order (i.e. "bring to front", "send to back"...).
    You can make objects invisible without having to write any script by selecting the objects which should be invisible and setting the Presence property, on the Object palette's Field tab, to
    Invisible or
    Hidden - Exclude from Layout. The former means the objects won't be visible but they will still be a factor in the way in which objects are placed on the form while the latter means they're totally hidden from the form.
