Route determination for sales order returns

Folks,
I would need to have route determination for a sales order return (RE order). Currently a route is determined but this is the route for delivering to the customer. I've setup a new route for returns and maintained the determination. Despite above settings, the return route is not determined. Any suggestions?

-Do the shipping point detremination  in OVL2.
-In Route Determination- Maintain Country & Transportation Zone For Shipping Point
-Here you will find the Shipping point  whatever you have created in Enterprise Structure  which is in grey i.e you cannot change.
-Just assign the departure zone which you have created in Transportation zone-000000002 to required shipping point & save it.

  • User exits for route determination in Sales order & Deliver creation

    Hi Gurus,
I need to do some change in the route determination for both sales order & Delivery creation.
Can anyone suggest me which user exit I have to use.
    Appropriate answers will be awarded.

    Hi,
You can use the following exit for route determination - EXIT_SAPL0VRF_001.
The FM documentation is below. Check the functionality:
"The customer exit can be used for customer-specific route determination or to modify the inbound data for the company's own route determination.
The following data is transferred to support customer-specific route determination:
I_VBAK current order header (for route determination in sales order)
I_VBKD order business data (for route determination in sales order)
I_VBAP current order item (for route determination in sales order)
    I_VBPA current sales partner
I_LIKP current delivery header (for route determination in delivery)
The following data can be modified and transferred back to the standard route determination or used for a specific route determination:
    C_ALAND Country of departure
    C_AZONE Departure zone
    C_LLAND Destination country
    C_LZONE Receiving zone
    C_VSBED Shipping condition
    C_TRAGR Transportation group
    C_GRULG Weight group
C_FLAG_GEN_VT Flag: Route determination with generic shipping
    requirements/transportation group.
C_FLAG_INCR_GRULG Flag: Increase weight group if no route
If you want to use a standard route determination with different parameters, trigger the exception 'CONTINUE_WITH_STANDARD'.
In the log table C_PROT, the log data from the customer-specific route determination can be transferred back. In this case, the log entries always refer to customer-specific messages. To add a message to the log table, the function module SD_ROUTE_DET_LOG can be used (see below).
If a route is determined in the customer-specific route-determination, it can be transferred back in the E_ROUTE field. If no route was found, the exception 'NO_ROUTE_FOUND' is to be triggered."
    Thanks.

  • Route determination during sales order creation!

    Hello all,
I am having a problem with route determination in sales order. The issue is when I remove delivery block (LIFSK) on the sales order and select 'under minimun' in orther reason (AUGRU)field, the route is not getting determined when the partner at the header level is changed.
When if there is a delivery block and other reason is empy, the route is correctly determined when the partner (intermediate consignee) is changed.
Why is it behaving this way? Any siggestions?

  • Error while doing PGR (post goods issue for sales order return)

    Hello Gurus,
I'm trying to do PGR for a sales order return. But system shows the following message: "Shortfall below the specified stock level or quantity amounting to 100 UN". (Message number : M7021)
I've made some searches in SD forum but I didn't fnd appropriate answers.
What does it mean ? How can I fix it ?
    Thank you,

    Hi
"Special Stock E not supported (check your entry)".
This means your sales order (in your case the returns order ) is created with an item category which is marked with special stock indicator E  in VOV7 and the system is checking for that special stocks and it is not finding that
When you mark any item category  with special stock indicator it can be E or Q or W ( it can be anything ) system will check for that particular stock category and not the general unrestricted stocks
For you mistake can be two things
    1. Right now REN or RENN is wrongly marked with special stock indicator E  in VOV7
If so remove that and try a fresh cycle
2.The process you are right now doing is returns
The original sale would have happened with special stock indicator E marked in its item category
That means it is special stock
That stock you might be trying to take it into general stocks now
In that case right now you need to mark REN or RENN with special stock indicator E
Note whenever you put your hand in VOV7 create a fresh order cycle and test and dont test it with already created order
Note touching requirement classes are all big things to do in a project and not advisable lot many mistakes we can correct itself if we know order type ,item category and schedule line category

    Hi there,
For getting output Email or any media you have to do output determination. output determination is also carried by Condition techniques.
Configuration path: (following are the steps)
    1) SPRO-> IMG-> Basic Functions-> Output Control-> Output Determination-> Output Determination using Condition Technique- >Output Determination for Sales Documents .
    2) Create Condition Table: select the field Sales Doc Type from field catalog & Save
    3) Maintain Access Sequence: 4-digits code & description.
    4) Assign condition table to access sequence. Select Accesses line item and Go To Fields. Fields will display the fields we have selected in the condition table i.e. sales doc type. Maintain Output Types:BA00: Order Confirmation Select BA00 & Copy & Rename. Give the same 4-digit code as given to access sequence. You Can Maintain: Languages of Output Partners (to whom you need to send output) Print Program- print specification Sap Script- layout Assign Output Types to Partner Functions: go to new entries & assign your output type to partner functions. Maintain Output Determination Procedure: V10000 (Standard Procedure)here you select communication medium Email.
Go to new entries and create your own 6-digit code with description. Select the procedure, go to Control Data. Here mention the output type i.e. condition type and leave requirement and manual only columns as blank. Determination Rule: link the 6-digit procedure code to doc types. It contains: Sales Orgnisation, Customer, Partner Function (The abbreviated form of the name that identifies the Partner) (During output determination, the system determines the recipient of the output from the master record for the specified partner function. In this field, you can explicitly specify a recipient that will override the standard partner. There must also be a master record for the partner that is specified explicitly.), Medium, Time & Language.} Order Type: Document Type, Partner Function (abbreviation), Partner, Medium, Time & Language. Path For Output Determination For Sales Documents: Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> Sales Document -> Create (t-code VV11) Path for Output Determination
I hope this will help you.....

  • Tax determination for sales order

    Hi,
As far as my understanding Tax classification for customer or material is responsible for determining the tax in sales order.
    ______________ Alt.tax classific ___ Tax classific _______ Taxcode ____________ Condition value

    ___________________ 0 _____________ 0 ______________ V1 ______________   0%
    ___________________ 1 _____________ 0 ______________ V1 ______________   0%
    ___________________ 0 _____________ 1 ______________ V1 ______________   0%
    ___________________ 1 _____________ 1 ______________ V1 ______________   10%
    Where,
    0 - Exempted
    1 - Taxable
    - TaxClass1-Cust. in customer master (Sales area - Billing tab Taxes)
    - Tax class. material in material master(Sales: Sales Org.1 - Tax Data)
    2 point to confirm :
1 Can I confirm that ONLY these 2 (CMR and MMR) to determine that if the item is taxable or not?
2 If either one of them not 1, then it is not taxable?
    Thanks

    Hello Banniya,
In General - Yes. One this two (CMR & MMR) determines whether am Item is Taxable or not.
But if we get into specific country & regions requirements, there can be other factors. For example in India we need to consider the Region (State) of Dispatch & Region (State) of Receipt for determining the type of Tax (VAT or CST).
Further we many times also consider the Plant. Some plant are in Tax Free zones (SEZ, STPI, etc). Thus a though the material & customer are same, in some transactions there will be Tax while in some transaction there will be no tax.

  • Output Determination for Sales Order Confirmation

    Hi,
we are working with CRM 7.0 and I am currently trying to set up the output determination for order confirmation. The goal is that I would like to be able to differentiate the output medium, so print, fax or e-mail, peferab
I have created an action profile which triggers the output, that works fine.
My idea is to use condition technique where I could set per sold-to party which medium is used.
Before that, I tried to add it as a normal action.
However I tried to add my action profile to the action condition, once with "e-mail" and once with "print". But a) only the first line is shown and b) I cannot change the description so that the user can realize if he prints or e-mails the output.
Can you give me a recommendation how that is usually set up and what I need to take into consideration?
    Thanks

Ive uploaded a document on the steps i have done for setting up a Output type at:

  • Plant Determination for sales order

Hello Gurus - I am trying to understand plant determination process that is happening in our system. Here's the scenario:
Customer sends in an order through EDI creating an IDOC (ORDERS) in our system. The customer sends in a ship to address different from the sold to party's address that the order posts on. Its like a sold to is ordering items to be shipped out to a different address than Sold to's. The order posts in SAP perfectly but the plant that it determines varies with the ship to address. For example a Wisconsin customer orders items to be shipped out to Florida and the system proposes the plant located nearest to the ship to address. Untill now, I was of the view that plant is determined first by the customer material info record, then if its not there, it looks at the customer master and then material master. The items are extended to multiple plants across US. Now what I am not getting is why is it changing the plant thats given on the customer master to a plant located nearest to the ship to address. I tried looking into user exit RV03VFZZ to see any customization, but its not there.
Can anyone advise on what possibly could be the set up in such a scenario where you have items extended to multiple plants and the plant is determined based on the ship to address??

    Hi Nikhil,
You are right the delivering plant is first taken from
CMIR, CM, MM in that order.
There is also a fourth place after all this ie the user exit which comes into play. In user exits you can redetermine the plant.
You may need to check this
    MV45AFZB - "USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION"
You can use this user exit to determine which plant will be used for the delivery. In the standard system, the delivering plant is copied from the customer master or the customer-material info record. If you want to use a different rule, then you must enter it in this user exit
    MV45AFZZ - "USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP"
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at sales document item level. It is described in the section "Copy customer master fields into the sales document".
    MV45AFZZ -"USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT"
Use this user exit to fill user-specific statistics update tables.
in any of these 3 places there could be some custome code. check these areas you may get the answer to your querry.
    reward points if it helps
    regards

  • Item Category Determination for sales document- Item USAGE

    Hi dear all.
I read already the discussions held around this subject, as I'm facing a similar problem for which I cannot find a solution.
I have the need to set up a ItCat determination for sales order ZPD.
The proposed ItCat must be <b>ZPDW</b>. However, for the NORM ItCat Group we have already a setup which cannot be changed.
    This is the present status.
SaTy     ItCatGrp    Usage    HLevItCat        Proposed ItCat
    ZPD      NORM                                         ZPD
I need that the proposed ItCat is ZPDW, under the same conditions
SaTy     ItCatGrp    Usage    HLevItCat        Proposed ItCat
    ZPD      NORM       ?                                 ZPDW
For that I believe that I'll have to play along with the Usage.
    But how?
What triggers an USAGE during sales order creation? Is it related to the entered material. In a NORM material, how can a usage be deducted?
Thanks for your feedback on this issue.
    Rui Viegas

It is possible , either one of the item category u can make as proposed and another one as manual. So while creating sale order u need to change it manually

  • How to configure rescheduling for sale order quantities

kindly explain how to configure rescheduling for sale order quantities that are created last month. kindly explain. i am in urgent.
    regards,
    g.v.shivakkumar

    Hi,
    Short text
Rescheduling sales and stock transfer documents: by material
    Description
The 'Rescheduling' program (SDV03V02) processes sales document items that are contained in the item directory for the material. It takes into consideration open items and schedule lines from stock transfer items, stock transfer scheduling agreements and purchase order requests (items only), referred to hereafter as stock transfer documents, for the materials.
All sales documents for the material that are still open are selected. This means that the material index must be activated for at least all sales document types, whose items may have requirements. All stock transfer documents or items for the material that are still open are also selected. Open in this case means for example, that there is no deletion indicator, that the item from a stock transfer purchase order request cannot be labeled as completed or that the quantity delivered and posted to goods issue for the item in a stock transfer purchase order is the same as the amount ordered. An availability check can only be carried out if a checking rule is assigned to the document type - if this is not the case, the document or document item is not checked.
Checking rule 'A' is used as a basis for rescheduling sales orders (exceptions to this are rush orders  they use checking rule B, and orders with individual customer stock; they use checking rule AE). Stock transfer documents use the checking rule that is assigned in Customizing for Purchasing. It is important that the scope of checks is consistent for both the stock transfer documents and the sales documents and that they do not exclude each other, as this can lead to incorrect test results. An example of an incorrect setting would be: The scope of check for checking rule 'A' checks delivery schedules for stock transfer purchase orders and stock transfer purchase requests, however the scope of check for the checking rule for the stock transport scheduling agreement does not.
The items and schedule lines found in the selection are sorted according to 'Priorities' - document category, delivery priority, creation date of the item or schedule line (for stock transfer purchase orders and delivery plans) entered on the selection screen or according to the schedule line date of the earliest schedule line with order quantity, document number and item number and then transferred to the availability check. Priority 1 is highest priority and priority 5 the lowest. Stock transfer purchase order requests are sorted after stock transfer purchase orders and scheduling agreements, as they are less binding. This means that when you have identical sort criteria such as delivery dates, the stock transfer purchase order item is checked first and then the item from the stock transfer purchase order request.
The preset option 'Unconfirmed documents required' only carries out rescheduling for materials for which there is at least one unconfirmed transaction.
You can use the parameters 'Sorting criteria delivery date' to define whether sorting is carried out with the order quantity after the creation date of the item or the delivery date of the earliest schedule line.
If you mark the 'Simulation' field, the checked documents are not saved. Instead a results list is generated and saved. However, the availability check for the corresponding documents continues as if saving has taken place already, that is, that the simulated list corresponds to the actual one.
Under 'Options' on the selection screen, specify whether sales documents and/or stock transfer documents should be processed. For stock transfer documents you can enter whether stock transfer purchase orders and scheduling agreements should be processed at item or schedule line level:
    Processing at item level:
All open schedule lines for the item are read and collected, then transferred to the availability check. To sort and prioritize documents, you do not need each individual schedule line. It is sufficient to have the item or data from the first schedule line. All open schedule lines for the item are processed and checked.
Example of processing at item level:
Sorting: Date (Delivery date first schedule line) - Document number - Document item
    Doc. cat. Doc. number  Doc. item  Doc. schedule line  Delivery date PO        4500000012      10               0001              26.01. PO        4500000012      10               0002              26.02. PO        4500000025      20               0001              28.01. PO        4500000025      20               0002              02.02.
You can see that the second schedule line for document 4500000025/20 from 02.02 was processed after the second schedule line for document 4500000012/10 from 26.02. This is because all open schedule lines for an item are read and processed. The first schedule line from 4500000012/10 has the earliest delivery date, therefore it has priority.
    Processing at schedule line level:
Each open schedule line for an item is entered in document sorting in accordance with the values entered under 'Priorities'. The availability check is carried out for each individual schedule line.
Example for processing at schedule line level:
Sorting: Date (delivery date first schedule line) - document number -document item
    Doc. cat.    Doc. number  Doc. item  Doc. sched. line  Del. date PO           4500000012    10             0001           26.01. PO           4500000025    20             0001           28.01. PO           4500000025    20             0002           02.02. PO           4500000012    10             0002           26.02.
Here you can see that each schedule line was sorted according to its delivery date. Note that this type of processing requires more runtime due to the individual checks and more frequent saving.
The results of rescheduling are saved, as long as the program was not started in simulation mode. When calling up from the 'Sales' area menu or when directly starting via the development environment, the iniator is informed via a dialog box that he has just started a process that changes data. He can then decide whether or not he wants to continue.
Checking procedure for stock transfer documents:
An availability check of stock transfer documents in rescheduling is carried out in accordance with the check carried out when manually creating a document. If, however, the required quantity for a schedule line is not available on a particular date and will not be ready until later, new schedule lines are created for the stock transfer purchase orders and scheduling agreements, containing the relevant data. New items are created in this case for stock transfer purchase order requirements. The total sum of schedule line quantities for a processed schedule line corresponds to the schedule line quantity of the original schedule line.
First example: Using a stock transfer purchase order item with a schedule line:
    a) Status of item before rescheduling run:
Del. date  PO quantity   Confirmed quant  Confirmed del. date 23.07.      50 items       0 items              -
==> This now affects the stock/requirement situation:
        - Goods issue is posted for the material in the delivering plant on the 23.07.
        - A purchase order of 10 items was created for the material in the delivering plant. Delivery is expected on the 29.07.
    b) Status of stock transfer purchase order item after rescheduling run:
Del. date PO quantity   Confirmed quant   Confirmed del. date 23.07.     40 items      40 items            23.07. 29.07.     10 items      10 items            29.07.
==> The first schedule line was changed in accordance with the results of the rescheduling availability check. Only 40 of the 50 original items could be delivered on the 23.07. Therefore, a new schedule line is created for the rest on the 29.07. for 10 confirmed items.
Second example: Same output situation as the above example.
==> There is now a change in the requirement/stock situation:
A purchase order for 10 items is created for the material in the delivering plant. Delivery is expected on the 29.07. A further purchase shows another 40 planned items on the 30.07.
Status of stock transfer purchase order item after rescheduling run:
Del. date PO quantity  Confirmed quant  Confirmed del. date 29.07.     10 items       10 items          29.07. 30.07.     40 items       40 items          30.07.
==> The first schedule line was changed in accordance with the result of the availability check for rescheduling. The original delivery date is set to the date confirmed in the ATP check. A new schedule line is created for the remaining 40 items, that are available on the 30.07.
    Note:
Any set fixed delivery date and quantity indicators and creation indicators for schedule lines or items are 'inherited' by newly created schedule lines. Assuming that the original schedule line was fixed in the above example (since it is created manually), this indicator is also set for the newly created schedule line.
If shipping scheduling is activated for a stock transfer document type, this is also implemented for newly created schedule lines, with the exception of route schedule determination. This means that in the current version of the program no route schedule has been determined for a schedule line containing a route schedule for which new schedule lines may need to be created.
The results of the run are issued in the form of a list, which is also saved, so that the results can be controlled at a later date. This is done using the function 'Evaluate rescheduling', but it is only a good idea to do this after the first rescheduling has taken place. You can restrict selection requirements but these can however affect the runtime. You can use this function to analyze the saved list until the next rescheduling run, which writes over the result. If you start rescheduling in the background, a spool file with the result list referred to will be created in the corresponding setting. You can see this in spool management.
    Output
A list of changed documents, a list of documents in which an error occurred during processing and as a result were not changed, can be called up via the menu 'Edit - Error log'. If in a subsequent evaluation a restricted selection is carried out, a note appears at the end of the list to say that not all document items are displayed.
You can set the scope of the list under the menu option 'List' in the list display. You can view improvements, deteriorations and the whole list. Before the documents can be included in one or either of the restricted lists, the date or quantity has to have changed so that the item can be contained in both the list of improved or deteriorated documents.
You can use the interface for changing transactions and the order list to navigate. Use 'Back' to exit the list and 'New selection' to return to the selection screen.
    Recommendation
You should only start this program occasionally and use very restricted selectin criteria during working hours as it requires enormous system resources.
    Note
The columns for 'New date' and 'New confirmed qty' only contain entries if the dates or quantities have changed.
As the system only runs the change check (dates/quantities) per line in the original list, an item whose backlog has increased in the list of improvements. This occurs, for example, if the whole quantity can be delivered at once but at a later date. In this situation, the system determines an increase for the line when it compares quantities.
