Route from node  overwritten

Hi, all
In SCOT I have 2 Nodes, IMAIL for configuraiton SAPconnect and SMTP for trying to configruation CCMS alerts...
In IMAIL (supported address type) click on SET and address area I typed * and saved entry
IN SMTP same place address area I typed * I got this messages and after that its disapair * from IMAIL
message:
"Route from node IMAIL overwritten"
you know why its like this

thanks for very grate help, and good concept, but I am confouse about SMTP, I didn't create SMTP it was there alerady, I just create IMAIL node becuase I want to sent xml messages to some users....
If i have only SMTP can I sent messages to XML ? in XI
The reson I create new nodes becuase of create RFC... as you know that i am using NW 2004s 6.4C20 and XI 3.0...
before I tried to sent message or internal mail like So01 or sost tcode, but its wasn't goes through... then I figure it out icm/server_2 smtp paramaters was't there i add that paramater still messages not goes throguh from SMTP thats why I create IMAIL nodes...
do you have any idea what is good and easy way  I can configure SMTP only...
also when I run any other server like R3 send box it has SMTP with RFC connection how come its too difference between both screen in XI and R3 system ?
Thanks

  • Acquired DVR, STB. and Router from Apartment cleanout; Return?

I am trying to do the right thing but poor customer service is not allowing me. I do IT work and received a DVR, STB, and Router from an apartment cleanout from a property owner. I am uncertain if the boxes are paid off or what, but rather than accept stolen property or flip them, I want to contact Verizon and have a return put out on the equipment. Hey maybe I'll get a credit or a few months of movies or something. But I certainly am not spending another minute sitting on hold to do this. I could not get through over 45 minutes yesterday. If I call and specify that I want to buy new service though, I get right through- only to be redirected anyways. Funny how it works. I love my FIOS service, always have, but to call them for anything requires taking a half day off of work. So, with that said- does anyone have contact info for equipment returns? Pittsburgh/Monroeville PA area. Again, if it's going to cost me anything, screw them. I will throw the stuff away as it should have been in the first place. If the equipment was paid for, it would be nice to have it activated to my account and no longer pay rental fees for my STB and DVR.
Message Edited by betteroff on 08-14-2009 06:47 AM

Don't know who to contact, but the video equipment is never considered paid off and remains forever Verizon property (that's how they make money on them).  After a year I belive Verizon doesn't require the return of the router.  They will not activate any STB without it being in their inventory and charging you a monthly fee.

  • How to display all value of metadata from nodes collection model in content presenter template

    Hi All,
first of all the new look of OTN is great.
coming to problem i am facing (i dont know whr to ask here or in portal forum).
i am creating a content presenter template to display list of items.
now as per requirement i need to create a drop down to filter the list.
now while check- in a file author would choose a value in one metadata field lets say xCategory(which is a single select list).
i have to display similar category list on portal to allow user to filter list.
i could hv used view of xCategory but problem is files are targeted to role using ACL. so u see i cant display all category to all users.
also customer wants this whole thing to be Dynamic i.e. they can add value of xCategory later that to could be only for specific role (on portal it should be role specific , author can see whole list not a problem there).
so what i think is if content is given as search result so the category. so now if i can get the all xCategory metedata from 'nodes' collection model in template i can create drop down with out having any additional bean.
    somthing like this
#{nodes.xCategory} (but this one is not correct).
    please suggest me any solution.
    thanks

    Hi,
you can do all of what you said with JSF. ADF Faces provides drag and drop functionality (have a look at the Web Developer Guide) that allow you to move nodes within a tree. The drag and drop framework sends an event notification to the server with a reference to the changed node. You can also have context menus on a tree node to help users creating, deleting and editing a tree nodes. JavaScript isn't required at all, even if you wanted to drag and drop a row in a table on top of a tree node to create a new tree node.
I just finished a book project in which we explained this usecase. As soon as I find the time, I'll follow up with a blog entry on this as it seems to be a common requirement. However, as mentioned, the web developer guide on OTN explains drag and drop in ADF Faces pretty well.
However, if you choose the "Search" link above, choose JDeveloper and ADF as the product to search for and type drag and drop as the search string, then you get lots of code sample posted in the past to this forum

  • Is there any way to prevent fields from being overwritten when importing data via xdp-file?

In an pdf-form designed with LCD everytime the form gets merged with an xdp-datafile content of all fields get overwritten, regardless which data-binding (normal, global, none) is assigned to the fields and regardless if the fields are exluded in the xdp-datafile. Is this normal behavior and is there any way to prevent fields from being overwritten?

The xdp-file is first exported from Acrobat Professional 8 (export data as *.xdp) to get the complete structure. Then in the xdp-file some fields are removed manually and other fields are filled with data. When the modified xdp-file is opened again with Acrobat Professional 8 it grabs the original pdf-form and merges the manually filled fields into the form. With the merge all other fields in the form are overwritten, even if they are not defined in the xdp-file. And that is what I want to avoid. I want to merge the xdp-file into the form and keep the data in fields not defined in the xdp-file.

  • I am upgrading wi-fi router from Airport Express to Airport Extreme. I followed set up instructions yet I am still getting the flashing amber light and cannot setup (using manual setup or the continue button).  What should I do??

    Hello,
I am upgrading my wireless router from an Airport Express to an Airport Extreme.  After disconnecting the Express and plugging the Extreme via ethernet cable to the modem, I am receiving a flashing amber light after connecting the power source.  I also reset the modem while the Extreme was still powered and plugged into the modem, but no luck.  I also tried resetting the modem and the Extreme and still no resolution.  Please advise.  Thank you!

This error usually occurs when the Windows Firewall and/or anti-virus software blocks the connection attempt from the PC to the AirPort Extreme.
Microsoft Security Essentials can do the same thing.
Things would be much easier if you had a Mac or iPhone or iPad to set up the AirPort Extreme. Otherwise try turning off the Windows Firewall and Anti-Virus programs, etc on the PC.
Restart the PC, then see if the PC can contact the AiPort Extreme. It will likely help to connect an Ethernet cable from the PC to one of the LAN <-> ports on the AirPort Extreme. You can disconnect the Ethernet cable once the AirPort Extreme has been configured.
Re-enable the Windows Firewall, Anti-Virus, etc and restart the PC.

  • How do I prevent the Airport Extreme router from dropping with DSL when a call comes in?

I just installed a new Aiport Extreme 802.11n router. I am using DSL and it works great until someone calls me. When the phone rings and my answering machine answers the call the router drops and start flashing amber. My old router did not have this problem. Is there an option I can set that will prevent the router from dropping when someone calls me?

The AirPort Extreme should be configured to "create a wireless network" with the same WiFi network name, security type (usually WPA2 Personal) and password as your existing router. It should be configured as connection type Ethernet and be in bridge mode.

  • Using custom wsdl to esb routing service node

    Hi,
I am working on a ESB flow, The entire flow works with ESB generated WSDLs. But, now, I want to use our own WSDL files, so I configured the starting Routing Service node to use existing WSDL.
To do this, I made the following changes.
Initially I was feeding XML file throug a File Reader node, and it was easy to test. Now, since I am working with our own WSDL, I removed File Reader node and created another Routing Service node with uses our custom WSDL file. I am now testing the flow by using OC4J web services feature. It provided me a web based form where in I can populate/feed values in. When I do this, I get an error like below:
java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Software caused connection abort: connect
Does anybody know how to fix this?
    Thanks,

We just received a new Actiontec router from Verizon. Plugged in power cord and phone line and can not get a connection. What am I doing wrong? On the last router (Westell) we did not have to have an ethernet cable to use the router and I assumed we didn't need to do that with this router either.  Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I usually can eventually access the router, but it is way to much trouble.  However, I use my iPad hundreds of times more often than my laptop.

Are you typing http:// in front of the IP address of the router? e.g. http://192.168.0.1
Sometimes, and with some routers it doesn't seem to like it if you miss off the http://

  • Locking a cell to prevent it from being overwritten

I want to create a table that restricts data entry to specific cells within the table, keeping cells with formulas that calculate data from being overwritten but I am not seeing any way to "protect" cells from inadvertent data entry. Putting an object over the top of a cell or range of cells and setting its opacity to 0 and then locking it keeps you from selecting the underlying cell with the mouse but you can still tab over to the cell with the direction keys and enter data. Is there a way to lock/protect a cell to keep it from being overwritten?

    b,
This is an area that Numbers can't really address effectively. The designers don't seem to have considered the possibility of having a document designed by one user and used by others less knowledgeable or trustworthy or careful. If you don't like the workarounds that you found in other discussions your best course is to use another program for now and submit Feedback to Apple if you want to influence future development.

I'm trying to leak routes from a VRF to global. I can get the routes leaked from directly connected CE to the global, however I can't get the routes from remote CE's to leak in to the global routing table. Below are my configurations

  • Problem leaking route from VRF to global table on CSR 1000V

    Hi Guys,
So I have a problem with VRF's on a CSR 1000V, specifically exporting a connected subnet from a VRF into the global routing table.
My config, very abbreviated, is as follows:
    Router:
    GE1: 10.0.0.1/31 VRF TEST
GE2: 172.30.20.1/24 (No VRF, BGP neighbor to 172.30.20.2, receiving 0.0.0.0/0 (default route))
    Now sh ip route displays:
    0.0.0.0/0 (BGP)
    172.30.20.1/24 (Connected)
sh ip route vrf TEST displays:
    0.0.0.0/0 (BGP)
    10.0.0.1/31 connected
My VRF config is as follows:
    ip vrf TEST
    rd 1:1
    import ipv4 unicast map GLOBAL
    export ipv4 unicast map CONNECTED-SUBNET
    ip prefix-list CONNECTED seq 1 permit 10.0.0.1/31
    ip prefix-list DEFAULT   seq 1 permit 0.0.0.0/0
    route-map CONNECTED-SUBNET permit 10
     match ip address prefix-list CONNECTED
    route-map GLOBAL permit 10
     match ip address prefix-list DEFAULT
Now my import command works perfectly (0.0.0.0/0 is imported from BGP into the VRF's routing table), however my export command does not function - seemingly at all.
Even though my prefix list is an exact match, I do not see 10.0.0.1/31 appearing in the global routing table, or the BGP table at all (show ip bgp 10.0.0.1 shows only the 0.0.0.0/0 default route)
Any thoughts on what is going on here? Am I misunderstanding the export command for VRF's? I was under the impression this will export directly to the BGP table, and then be imported to the global routing table if applicable?
    Any thoughts/input would be appreciated!

    Hello
    "GE1: 10.0.0.1/31 VRF TEST
GE2: 172.30.20.1/24 (No VRF, BGP neighbor to 172.30.20.2, receiving 0.0.0.0/0 (default route))"
I must have misunderstood somewhere  I was assuming you had no vrf bgp between GE1-2 , and just vrf on subnet 10.0.0.0/x which needed to be advertised in the global routing table hence my last post suggested you redistribute into bgp,
So assuming you are accepting a default route from GE2 it went like this
    GE1
    int fa0/1
    ip vrf forwading TEST
    ip addresses 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.255
    int xx
    ip address 172.30.20.1 255.255.255.0
    router bgp xy
    neighbour 172.30.20.2 remote-as yx
redistribute static ( to advertised the vrf subnet to GE2)
ip route 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 fa0/1 ( this is tell the global rib where to go for the vrf route)
    ip prefix-list VRF  permit 0.0.0.0/0
    route-map VRF_rm
match ip address prefix VRF ( match on the default route advertised from GE2 which is in the global rib)
    ip vrf TEST
import-map ipv4 vrf VRF-rm ( import the default from global rib into the vrf rib)

  • In TMS, can you have routes from a dev to multiple consolidation systems?

My developers want to be able to choose from a list of target systems when creating a transport so that transport would go to a target group, or individual systems.
Currently, I have my my ECC 6.0 Dev system transport routes configured to send to a transport group which adds the transports to two other systems queues.  there is a SAP layer and zxxx layer. All custom development classes
    use the zxxx layer.
My problem is that sometimes they only want the transport to go to one system or the other, but not both. They would like to choose which system to use in the target system field when creating a transport.  Is this possible?
All development classes (packages) use the same
transport layers, either sap or zxxx, I have tried to create routes from DEV to these to 3 different locations, but TMS only lets me use the layer for one route. if I create a SAP route to the /ZXXX/ target group it will not let me also create a SAP route to the individual systems. It appears you can only use a layer to go to one destination.
Is there some way to give them a choice? The developers swear they have seen this before in development systems.
    Thanks, Pat

    Hello Pat,
The customer i work for has a complex landscape. We have one development system and 6 quality systems.
I have just checked the transport routes in STMS and i see that there are a lot Z layer created for the transport routes to the multiple systems.
Hence i agree with you from an SAP standard point of view all options are closed out. (and believe me i am working on the old R/3 3.1 version)
But what is the problem with transport target group. Just because a request goes and sits in the buffer of a system, it does not mean the request has been imported. right? why cant you convince them on those lines?
But at the same time, i hope your company does not use the standard SAP concept od doing an import all every few hours.
    Regards,
    Prashant

  • Uninstall Clustered Instance from Node

I've installed SSAS 2012 as a failover cluster instance on a 2-node Windows 2012 R2 cluster.  All was fine in that regard but I now need to change the instance name so am going about the process of uninstalling and re-installing.  I've successfully
removed the second node from the configuration using the "Remove cluster node" wizard from the Setup options, but when it comes to removing it from the final node I'm getting the error "the cluster group **** could not be moved from node x to
node 'null'".  At this point the uninstall fails and the cluster resource remains in cluster administrator.  It's obviously done some work/damage because the service won't start now, but it's left in limbo land where I can't do anything with
    it.
Is there a manual way of removing the instance to overcome this issue (file deletions, registry entry deletions etc.)?  (usual caveats regarding registry modifications accepted!) :)
    Many thanks
    Phil
